My name is Marsha Hampton phone number [protected]... My son JayVohn Hampton a 9 year old boy in the 3rd grade who attend Saddle Back Elementary in Maricopa Arizona.. In February 2013 I received a call from the school, something is wrong with JayVohns breathing come quick! When I arrived at the school the nurse was treating him with a breathing treatment an ambulance was called to take him to casa grande hospital. {He was hurt playing football at school} The hospital treated him relisted him while in the hospital parking lot my son past out, he was rushed back in the hospital were he was readmitted the doctors told me an ambulance was called to then take him to children hospital of phoenix were he was later released to come home the same day. Now all the bills are coming in His hospital bills are about $9000.00 I have no medical insurance southwest ambulance is now charging me {$!803.34 and $2354.94} all together $4158.28 Why! He had no treatment in the southwest ambulance all they provided him with was a ride... His account# [protected] Please help me bring this bill down I was overcharged for my son.. We need your help... Thank you

    If the paramedics didn't do anything else, they did do more than just transport your son, they were monitoring him in the ambulance. It isn't as if he was riding in the back by himself. I'm sure they checked his blood pressure, etc. during transportation. I don't know of anyplace that can help you get the amount lowered. You will have to try and make arrangements to make payments on the bills. It might also be cheaper to apply for a loan with a financial institution and pay off the bills that way, then make payments on the loan.
