Las Vegas Skin & Cancer Clinics / disregard of patients and staff

1 Las Vegas Pahrump, United States

With no prior warning - Pahrump clinic closed and all staff fired in July. (LV staff unaware for 2 days). Advised when called main number, Warm Springs Rd LV will service Pahrump patients. Told facility was near the corner of Durango. It's a little further than 'near' - it's across from St Rose Hospital. The receptionist was so offhand and unfriendly, I was truly shocked that that type of personality was working dealing with the public. The earliest date available to see the doctor was Sept 2 - same day as I'm scheduled for hand surgery. She was really irritated with me because of my indecisiveness. To have the best dermatologist (Dr Ned Stoughton) in the world fired and the friendly Pahrump clinic closed is very disturbing. It was clean and bright, with friendly staff. The Warm Springs Rd facility is depressing. There were about 12 people in the waiting room, they looked as if they'd been waiting a long time!
United Health Care need to be made aware of the attitude of staff as LVS&CC is their only authorized Dermatology Group for Senior Dimensions.
If nothing else I hope you can speak with LVS&CC management to be more caring towards patients needs and train their receptionist to be kind and more helpful. I guess I might have been irritating to her as I was unable to make up my mind fast. Thank you for your time. Veronica
