Purchased two airline tickets and received an email confirmation that I would receive them in 24 hours. 28 hours later I received an email that my credit card was denied. I called my bank and contacted Visa and neither one showed anything being denied. So I contacted Buymytrip and they would not rerun my card, told me to just go to their website and do it myself. Well I told the representative that the price had gone up today, but he didn't seem to care. I would not recommend anyone use this site. They may appear cheaper, but in the end - they don't deliver as promised. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

All the current reviews do not exaggerate. Worst experience I've ever had buying a plane ticket (I bought the tickets since they were referred through Google Flights without first reading other customer reviews which was my error - And shame on Google for referring them).

Here goes….I noticed that the transaction did not show up on my credit card a week after I purchased the plane tickets from BuyMyTrip so I called them. The agent informed me that my flight was canceled due to the amount being reversed by my bank (which was incorrect) and I had to purchase new tickets online again and absorb whatever difference.

I told them this was absurd as I have a Visa eligible in any country and there is no transaction amount limit locks that would reverse a transaction. The latest update I received from the bank was an automated message stating the transaction went through and I also received an email from BuyMyTrip that my flight was confirmed including E-Tickets.

I gave BuyMyTrip the benefit of doubt and called my bank to speak with the fraud/security department and they informed me that the transaction made it through with no fraudulent blocks but the vendor (BuyMyTrip) "reversed" it two hours after the transaction was made.

The bank security team suspects that since my credit card was from a smaller Canadian Bank (Laurentian Bank), the vendor did not recognize the name and reversed the transaction. Whether it was reversed manually or automatically by BuyMyTrip; the bank did not know.

I called BuyMyTrip back to see if we could salvage this situation and was transferred to the manager I was previously talking to that told me to call my bank but like a broken record, she kept insisting it was my bank that reversed the transaction resulting in them canceling my plane tickets. Her statement was incorrect as my bank cybersecurity /fraud detection team said otherwise.

It was very upsetting that BuyMyTrip refused to take accountability for their system not recognizing my bank and canceling my plane tickets without any notice. By fluke as I was going through my personal finances, I had to randomly call them to find out that they canceled my plane tickets. Thankfully I was able to find out on my own a week before my flight rather than go through this nightmare during check-in at the airport.

All in all, BuyMyTrip is a pure scam with ZERO customer support and empathy and their employees take ZERO accountability for their errors such as:

1) Reversing the transaction resulting in my plane tickets being canceled

2) Not notifying me that my plane tickets were canceled.

3) Having ZERO solutions to salvage the situation caused by their own system error.

4) Refusing to provide solutions when the root cause of the issue was identified.

Their blanket refusal to support a potentially paying customer is mind-boggling. DO NOT EVER BOOK THROUGH THIS SITE.

Disgusting experience, company, work ethics, work culture and all around nightmarish experience. Purely horrendous. In the end, I found plane tickets for about the same price using skyscanner with zero hassle or complications. STAY AWAY FROM BUYMYTRIP!

The name was wrong on one of my tickets, and they would not change it even though I contacted them a month ahead of time. I ended up making it to Asia with the wrong name on my ticket, but the airline demanded that I get it fixed before my return flight. BuyMyTrip again would not change the name, and I ended up spending hours getting it fixed myself while I was in a foreign country, without proper phone access. It was awful

When I started working with buymytrip as sells agent by the name of molly smith I given my best to company I sold many tickets to customer but this company treat employees as we are slaves they do not give salary and eat incentives. Deepak is the name of owner and mehga who hired people for this company are fraud, these people play with employees mental health, I was waiting for my salary but since I never received it. And I want to make people wear that please do not buy trip from this company and do not work they are fraud people.

I booked a flight with buymytrip and when i completed the purchase, it took me straight to the opening page of the website. I didn't get a confirmation number, receipt or email. so I waited a bit and called them asking if my flight was booked, they said it was and gave me a "confirmation number" (that didn't work on the website) and said i should get an email in a bit. I waited an hour, and nothing. I waited another hour and nothing. I called a third time to cancel bc I was feeling uneasy about the situation, and asked for a confirmation email regarding my cancellation of the flight and they said they would. It's the next day and i still haven't received anything! They are NOT a real booking site, they are scammers. i immediately cancelled my credit card bc Im sure they were trying commit fraud.

I finished a booking, which ended in "Congratulations! Your booking is done". I thought everything was fine, but they failed to confirm the e-ticket with the carrier. The customer service number on their booking confirmation didn't even pick up. The number at their website worked, bu they unapologetically said that the booking wasn't complete (even though the "booking was done" according to my reservation). They said that getting my desired flight would cost $100 than originally agreed upon price. Classic bait and switch.

This travel agency is absolutely terrible! I recently purchased an international flight through them, but the agent entered my name incorrectly. When I asked them to fix it, they didn't even try to do anything about it. Instead, they told me to just go to the airport earlier, at least 4 hours ahead of departure. Can you believe that? They knew that this mistake would cause issues, but they didn't care. They just told me to deal with it.

I decided to check with my airline to see if the name mistake would be a problem. The airline told me that if the name was wrong, I definitely wouldn't be able to board the plane. They also said that 3 hours before departure was plenty of time to arrive at the airport.

Over the course of two weeks, I called and emailed the agency over 20 times to try to get the mistake fixed. But the agent never did anything about it. In fact, they even hung up on me a few times. This agency is completely ridiculous and not at all responsible. I would never do business with them again. They are a complete nightmare!

I would strongly advise you to spend the extra money and book through reputable airlines instead. I feel like I dodged a bullet with this one. So, beware of this company!
