Person is representing a Army National Guard soldier getting ready to deploy over seas. This person would only ship the truck and would wait to cash the check after the buyer approved the sale. This is a known scam to "he Oregon National Guard has been made aware of an ongoing scam in which someone is posing as a member of the Oregon National Guard trying to sell a car/truck online. The scammer uses several fictitious names and ranks, claiming to be from D Company, 141st Brigade Support Battalion. However, there is not a Company D in that battalion. The scammer claims to be selling the car/truck because they are deploying overseas. Currently none of the units in the 141st Brigade Support Battalion are scheduled to deploy."
