In 2007 my son went to the above Kickboxing Dojo in Hillcrest at his dads encouragement and that he’d be responsible for the fees if he wished to join. My son signed and indemnity form and tried out ONLY one training session.

After the one session try out, he informed his father he would not be continuing. Bare in mind Mark Delafield is an acquaintance of the fathers.

Years later he had calls from the Dojos attorneys saying he’d being handed over and requested R10000 for outstanding membership and lawyers costs. He explained the situation and the assistant at the lawyers office agreed it waan unfair request and commented that Mr Delafield had handed many other unbeknowing victims whom had the same complaints.

For a year all communications stopped. Now he has being notified that he has being handed over and blacklisted with the ITC and unless I come up with the R10000, his name will not be removed from their system.

I am at my wits end. Please advice us as to what we should do from here?
