I have a Bank of America Money Network account where my payroll check is direct deposited each week. On 6/19/15 I attempted to transfer funds from the BOA account to an American Express account. Within an 1 hr of completing the transfer I realized that American Express would reject that type of transfer so I called BOA to cancel the transaction. The representative advised me that it would take 24-48 business hours for the funds to be back in my account. On 6/23 the funds were not in my account so I called BOA and spoke with someone named Palmela who asked for the routing number and the account number for the American Express account she told me to call back today, 6/24/15, and they would have an answer as to why the funds were not back in my account. I called BOA today 6/24/15, the first representative told me they were still investigating, I then asked to be transferred to a supervisor. The supervisor I spoke with was Lance, ID 8033098. Lance told me that they don't know where the funds are at. There has been a report filed with the Federal Reserve bank and they have 3-5 business days to investigate. If by Friday 6/26/15, I still don't have the funds in my account they will file a dispute and then it may take another 1-2 business days to get the funds back. Now we are at Friday 6/26/15, the funds are still not back in my account. I have spoken with a supervisor and a manager at BOA. They are telling me that the investigation that was done by the back office didn't find the funds. Now they are telling me that I will have to file a dispute which means they have to mail me an affidavit to sign then they will put a provisional credit on my account. They will do an investigation and if they find that the dispute is not valid they will remove the funds from my account again. I am only asking for what was mine to begin with. I am a single parent to a 6 yr old little boy and can't afford for someone else to loose my money. American Express has verified several times that they never received the funds. So this makes me question did the representative I spoke with on 6/19/15 at BOA, who was supposed to have canceled the transaction, did he transfer those funds to his account????? I have also filed a complaint with the BBB
