Dining Table Set / Quality

I bought a dining table set at a local furniture retailer "Prillo" Montreal, which was imported by "Steve Silver Co." in U.S. After delivery and sitting on the chairs for few hours, the form of slip seat was found would not recover. I brought it to the retailer store and they sent the pictures to Steve Silver however I got answer as "it was the way of this chair".
Now the point is they acknowledged the situation but "it was the way of this chair". I want to know what I should do for a bad quality product? If "it was the way" could be a excuse reason, what else we could complain?
