Basecamp traveller ( is putting fake details on their website & misleading gullible consumers. The testimonials written on their website with the photographs of the customers are not actually customers but their own employees, for eg Mr Ravi Balakrishnan is actually Mr Ravi Fernandes who is a sales manager in the organization, similarly Ms Manpreet Kaur is actually Miss Bhumika Chawla who works a receptionist at their head office. All the tents, sleeping bags, anything other than the victorinox travel gear or victorinox knives is sourced form china & they are of the worst quality & sold at very high margins. I bought a body wallet belt which tore on th second day itself & was not even replaced by their clueless staff. Any comments praising the products on different blogs are put up by their PR & marketing teams by creating different email ids. I think this fake company functioning under the shadow of Victorinox should be shut down as they are spoiling the image of a famous brand like Victorinox.
