To courier a parcel you don’t need to invent the wheel! This exactly what happen to me, I will cut the long story short … on May 10th I took a parcel / document to FedEX office in Nasser City Cairo office, your agent received me in nice way and he gave my your voucher to fill, we finished that and then I asked him to log the shipment onto you PMS to sustain the speedy tracking, his answer was sorry Sir we are not yet in automation the system not yet functioning but we operate manually, meaning your agent will collect the parcel later on the day BUT your parcel will reach to the recipient on Thursday May 12, 2011. This answer was fine with me as I have given a note to the recipient in UK with the date of arrival as that was involving a lawyer to recive it and eventually submit those document to certain authority.
On the same day of delivering the parcel at 3 pm I called your hotline to inquire about the tracking of the parcel as I failed to locate it on line! The given answer was sorry we can’t trace your parcel as the delivery from the relevant office takes place only evening time! The matter had become so peculiar for me so I decided to call your main office in Cairo and for the sake of urgency I asked the operator to put me through the General Manager, after being on hold listening to your lovely promo clips I was connected to the GM secretary who told sorry he is in meeting I can’t disturb him under any circumstances! Then I said whenever he is free please ask him to call, till the time I am writing this message I didn’t get his call!
On the same call I was connected to Mr. Amr and Mr. Amer whom they confirmed to me that my parcel hasn’t been collected yet from Nasser city branch, I was told that relevant office is quite new and PMS not yet linked to it ! but I was assured that the parcel will be collected and it reach the recipient in UK on Thursday May 12th . that was good enough for me.
On the next day Wednesday early evening I received a call from your Cairo operation department telling that my parcel has reached Heathrow Airport and the delivery will be on the next day the famous May 12, 2011.
The surprise is what happen today again when I got feedback from UK that nothing has been received that was around 3pm Cairo time, so I called the your call center again given them the AW bill number, the shook was given to me by your agent when he told me that my parcel is due to reach on Friday May 13, 2011! Again I called your main office in Cairo trying to speak to the GM the operator told me no replay in his office neither his secretary! I asked her to connect me with any one from operation again I was told no one is available! Late evening I received a call from Mr. Ramez telling me that he is trying to do an attempt for my parcel to reach during the business day but this was too late already!
I am left with hope for my parcel to reach on Friday 13! Knowing that its lucky day, I hope it will reach!
Out of reading the above did you feel my agony, did you feel the time loss, did you feel that I have paid for a lawyer for one day for nothing!
I just fail to understand why all this happening to me, I hope that someone would consider my petition.
