I have an automatic payment scheduled for cablevision to take my bill out of my checking account every month on the due date. This month for some reason the automatic payment did not work and a rep from cablevision called and said to make one time payment. I tried to do that online and the website was having technical issues so i called. the rep said my balance was actually 84 because i got a 21 dollar credit when i downgraded to basic. so i paid the 84 with a check he said my balance was zero. then the next night, which was saturday into sunday, my balance was negative 296!!! They too two 105.75 out, which was my previous balance, and also the 84!!! with no authorization. im like shocked and so upset because that is two hundred dollars out of my account for no reason. well, my advice dont ever set up an automatic payment with them or give your payment info. just pay cash.
