Bethesda Health GroupSexual Assault

On March 31st and again on April 1st of 2011, Randy L. Dotson, a employee of Bethesda Rehab and Therapy Center in Kirkwood, Missouri sexually assaulted a co-worker in his work area. The sexually assaulted victim worked for Bethesda Rehab and Therapy Center for two and a half years. In the two and a half years the sexually assaulted victim worked for Bethesda Rehab and Therapy Center, she never once called in absent and was late only a few times, by only a few minutes, always justified (traffic, weather, ext...). She always worked over time when ask to. Bethesda Rehab and Therapy also gave the sexually assaulted victim a humanitarian award for her services. The sexually assaulted victim, the mother of a severely autistic child, reported to her supervisors what Randy L. Dotson did to her and that she was afraid to return to work, that Randy L. Dotson threatened to harm her or her family if she told anyone what he did to her (an admission of guilt by Randy L. Dotson). She stated that she was traumatized and uncomfortable in her work environment at that time and was wanting to resign. Bethesda Rehab and Therapy Center offered to launch an investigation, but did not offer to transfer the sexually assaulted victim to another location, or give her time off while this investigation took place. Bethesda Rehab and Therapy Center told her that they could only be responsible for her safety while she was on their property, in their view. When the sexually assaulted victim again emphasized her fear to return, they informed her that they where taking that as her official resignation. Bethesda Rehab and Therapy Center reported that the sexually assaulted victim left Bethesda Rehab and Therapy Center without notice or reason, making it not possible for the sexually assaulted victim to collect unemployment benefits. Bethesda Rehab and Therapy Center also owed the sexually assaulted victim 180 hours of vacation time (totaling about $2, 800) that they refused to pay her for. The sexually assaulted victim's attorney was able to recover $1, 000 of this money, but Bethesda Rehab and Therapy Center made her (the sexually assaulted victim) sign a "hush agreement" to get it. Police reports of this incident where filed with both the Kirkwood, Missouri and Shrewsbury, Missouri police departments. It is assumed that Randy L. Dotson, 41, of Hazelwood Missouri is currently employed at Bethesda Rehab and Therapy Center in the same position. This entire true story can be read in the soon to be released publication titled "My Wife, Julian", author currently anonymous.
