Today I called to speak to someone at CVC I 40 and Washington in Amarillo Texas. Was on hold for 42 minutes. Manager at store made excuses for long delay saying that the Pharmacy was busy and only had one tech that could answer the phone and take care of customers that were in the store to pick up. Requested further assistance and was told that there was nothing else that could be done. When I again requested further information I was told to call 1-800-CVS- help. This did not work, so I went online to check for information and found a different number. I called that number and was on hold for additional 20 minutes and then hung up.
My time is valuable, took my lunch waiting to speak with someone at pharmacy and on help line. Now there is no way to get lunch in the time that I have.
Poor response, feel like my business is not important to CVs and need to change where my family mediations are filled.
Please note that I have been a customer of CVS for many years and have used the same pharmacy location.
I understand being busy but to make people wait on hold for this long is not acceptable. Maybe CVS should look at setting up a system where the customer can leave a number and be called back when it is their turn. This would be better than waiting on hold for 40 + minutes hearing the same recording.
