My husband & I have been customers for many years. As of the last year or so, the pharmacy is not serving it's customers well. There are only 2 or 3 workers, if that. Phones are ringing off the hook. The pharmacist is doing his or her best to fill prescriptions, answer phones, give flu shots, and help the customer. How can they do their important job, while constantly being taken away from their work? Specifically, my husband has been to the store to pick up his rx, three times this week, after getting notices that rx is ready. He goes to pick it up, but the one he needs is not filled. After the third time, they tell him it's back-ordered. He hasn't taken his daily meds in 2 weeks! Today, they told him he could drive to lynchburg, 30 miles away to get it. He already made three trips to the bedford store which is 14 miles round trip. We are retired and on a low fixed income. Every penny spent and mile we travel counts! This is not acceptable. Management is the problem, not the workers. You can't expect two or three workers to do the job of 5 or 6. One young man told me that he has worked for cvs for many years, and never saw a store this troubled. Your customers are leaving for better service elsewhere. How can you expect them to put up with this lack of professionalism? You're playing with people's lives! Please do something.
