I have two issues: 1) My husbands's prscription refill app said it would be ready after 1pm on Saturday. When I arrived, there was no record of it. and had to be re-submitted. Where is the initial request? 2) After trying to contact them by telephone several times, I went in to pick up a refill and casually asked if there were any shingles shots. The response was positive but, since I had a flu shot two weeks earlier I woud not be able to get the shingles shot. I was told to come back after a certain date and one would be set aside for me. I even asked if they were sure and I was totally reassured I would be able to get it. I even left my prescription with them. When I returned there was no shingles shot and no record whatsoever of my request. I was told to keep calling or coming back. You know it is IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone by phone .

I would like to inform you about my horrible experience with the pharmacist Jing. I had questions about a medication I was prescribe by my specialist. Read full complaintshockingly unsanitary pharmacy incident, management indifference
After repeated phone calls to customer service and district management blatantly avoiding me, then falsely dismissing the still pending complaint as "resolved", I am pursuing this issue through The Vermont State Board of Pharmacy and Office of Professional Regulation. The public will be made aware of this incident.
On Oct. 16, 2019 I visited the CVS pharmacy in Morrisville, VT to pick up my prescription. The order was not ready and as I waited I witnessed the pharmacy assistant rub the box containing my medication on her face and across her lips repeatedly. As astonishing as it sounds I simply watched frozen in horror and disbelief, unable to utter a word. I confronted the pharmacist privately, still shocked at what I had seen, and even more shocking was her response. She did not seem at all surprised, and certainly not bothered. Upon returing home I called the pharmacist, who once again completely dismissed me by saying, "Everyone has a different level of what bothers them"! This should not even be an issue, let alone one for debate! Customers rightfully have an expectation of cleanliness and no product or prescription belongs ANY WHERE NEAR AN EMPLOYEES FACE AND MOUTH. Period.
medication refill
Last month I picked up my script and thought wow that's awesome it's cheaper this time. A couple of weeks later I went to fill my husband's medication and the pharmacist stated it will be ready tomorrow. 2 days later I went to fill the script and I was told it's to early. I advised them I didn't pick up the script yesterday as I was told. They stated I picked it up 2 weeks ago. Apparently when I picked up my script they charged my husband's insurance. So I had to pay cash. How does this even happen... Then today I pick up my husband's other script. I thought man that's getting pricey. I get home and was only given 3 pills and insurance was not charged. Costing me over $30. So I called to ask to have the issue fixed. I was placed on hold for over 30 minutes. I hung up and called back, this time was on hold for over20 min before someone picked up. I was asked how can I help you and I started to speak only to be told you will have to give me a minute I'm busy doing something else... They come back on, I explained my issue very kindly only to be told call back tomorrow when the regular pharmacist comes back. I told him how long I was on hold and why I would appreciate it being handled now. He stated "I believe that, just call back tomorrow and someone should be able to help... I didn't even call this Med in... y'all contacted me via text, messed it up then charged me full price. What has happened to this pharmacy. Wal-mart is really starting to sound good:

Visited this CVS to pick up a prescription my doctor called and was rudely told by a tech there to step to the other line. I asked why and she said step to the other line. Pharamcy will not answer the phone except when they are about to close. People need to be able to contact them about their meds. receipt
To whom it may concern,
I have gone to cvs a few times this month, both retail side and pharmacy. Upon getting my receipt I realized that my receipt was pretty long, I thought it was a bit of a waste of paper but I see you want to give your customers coupons. Today however, I went to the pharmacy and the receipt got even longer and i'm talking ridiculously long. 5'3 to be exact. I've attached a photo and I just think that with this enverionmental crisis going on. This receipt is pretty wasteful and makes cvs seem very unaware of their carbon footprint.
Sincerely,
Concerned customer
the phone in refill request for medications.
The pharmacy changed to a new phone in refill request about 3 months ago. This new system had not worked properly since being implemented. After using the system and then going to pick up your meds, staff say no record of refill request. They admit to on-going complaints re: to above but have not done anything to resolve the problem. This is a inconvenience...

I have been a loyal customer of CVS pharmacy for over 15 years. I moved from MA to CA about 4 years ago and have been with this one CVS location the whole tiime. Since switching to this pharmacy I have had trouble getting one particular prescription almost every month. I have been on this medication the entire time. My doctor sends in the prescription and the pharmacist says they have not received it. It is sent in multiple times and then I'm told it needs to be sent a different way or they need verbal confirmation. My doctor's office always responds, but somehow there is a disconnect in the pharmacy and I eventually have to get a paper prescription, waiting up to over a week without medication. It is always approved from my doctor and other doctors in the case of a drug interaction.
Yesterday ( Sat. November 2, 2019)I called in a refill for my Librax prescription. My CVS bottle says I have one refill remaining. The automated message said " your prescription needs approval from your doctor and will be filled by Wednesday ". This was not acceptable to me because I was out of medication. Without this medication my symptoms worsen exponentially. I spoke with the pharmacist in person who pulled up my chart and says that I have no more refills. That is not what the automated response said. If I had not asked about it I would have been waiting 5 days without medication and not understanding why. I told the pharmacist that my bottle says I have one refill remaining. The pharmacist said that controlled substances can only have 3 months of refills. If that is true why does the bottle say I have a refill? How is someone supposed to know this policy?
Also when I saw my doctor last month he submitted a new prescription with 5 refills. This is evidently not in your system. Again a problem that I was completely unaware of.
Now I have to wait until Monday and get a paper prescription from my doctor and bring it in.
I have been told by CVS staff that I cannot call in a refill for a controlled substance before it is due so what do I need to do to not run out of medication ?
If your store has policies about refilling certain medications why aren't you sharing that policy with your customers?
I would appreciate a response with your refill policy in detail so that I can understand what needs to be done prior to getting my prescription.
Thank you
Jennifer Sharkey
