At the Keaau Longs in Hawaii, I saw two Lego toys on sale-with the yellow tag. I asked an employee to get the toys for me as it was too high. When I went to purchase the items, it rang up as regular priced. The cashier who was not the employee who helped me said it was not that price. I told her where I found it and she went back to look. Then she came back and I told her again that it said sale with a yellow sign and that another employee that helped me saw it, too. She walked me back to the aisle and the sale signs on both toys were removed. I believe she removed them but had no proof and didn’t see the employee that helped me take them down. I should have taken a picture. But I was more surprised that I was made to look like I didn’t see the sale signs, when someone took it away immediately after I was helped.

Date - 10/10/23 And Time - 1:25 PM Name - Christophe (Manager) My Name Is Jo Ann , and I was at your store to buy some items and the cashier called me over to ring up my items in my cart , It was REG # 03 / Tran #5147 / CSHR # 0846682 / STR #4728 . My Complaint is that when I down loaded my coupons to my cell phone , I ask Christophe how come it did not take off the $ 2.00 amount. he said that i did not load it , but i did and i even showed it to him and he started to scold me and said that it was my fault , and he was also speaking to me very mean and rude. He should not be a Manager he does not know how to speak and treat customers properly.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology and he should be discipline and also take a training class for customer service.
Security
The security officer saw my ex rip my bag off of my arm and when I asked him to do something he said to call the cops. We were in front of longs in the entry way where he could see and he did not help at all. Security is suppose to be there to help you while ON the premises of longs and he cursed at me and was of no help at all. The manager was very very helpful and captured it on cameras he was not and I’m thinking of filing a suit against your company. I need to be contacted asap.

POS System Down Time
Longs Drug Store located on 941 Ala Lilikoi 8/21/2023 7:50pm PST. Upon arrival location had customers standing outside with a hand written sign that read "store closed". One customer notified others of system issues and was given an estimated wait time of 30 minutes. During this time customers were forced away to seek medications and other necessities. I personally was there solely for a prescription p/u as it was called in to that specific location. At 8:30pm I call the store to get updates, managers Shy & Cheryl were on duty is what I was told, advised Pharmacy would not be extended their hours regardless of the current situation. During this time there was also a vendor trying to make a delivery and he too was unsuccessful. This kind of situation greatly affected our community and should be addressed. There should ALWAYS be a back up plan that doesn't cause unnecessary back logs.
Expired body armour drink
I bought my son 2 BODY ARMOUR strawberry banana drinks at Nanakuli, HI Longs .. he drank 1 not realizing it was expired (nobody thinks a store is selling expired products) and the 2nd drink has no date on it .. he has a terrible stomach ache .. he has been on the toilet for the last hour and a half cant eat or drink anything without it coming out .. he was absolutely fine before the drink ! Why are you selling expired drinks making people sick like this ? Please call or email me as soon as possible this is ridiculous and needs to be dealt with immediately I do not want to take this further ..

Duplicate charge taken
Purchased items at Longs K____ on 3/10/23 and wrote a check. It was taken out of my bank account on 3/14/23 as "ECH Converted Check".
On 6/09/23 the same amount was take out of my account again as "Physical Check".
I went to a different Longs K---- on 6/27/23 and notified Manager on the incident. I was told to call the 1-800 number. I waited to call and a Feedback was emailed to me. I made my complaint on the Feedback. The store's representative called and I had explained what happened.
On 7/08/023 I received a voice mail that I will be receiving the duplicate charge in my bank account.
On 7/18/23 the duplicate charge was not in my bank account. Spoke with a Customer Relations Representative and was given a Case # and someone will contact me.
On 7/21/23 I called Longs K----- and the Manager had called their Corporate Office and was told that my case has been re-opened on 7/20/23. Their Treasury Dept will contact me within 7-10 business days.
I asked how and why is my case re-opened when it was not resolved. Told Manager it was a small amount but it the principle of it all that I have to endure and it was no mistake on my part. I don't know why can't the store just give me a refund or store credit/gift card as I showed them the bank statement as proof. I told Store Manager in the future I will pay by cash or credit card (to dispute any charge if I need to) or go to their competitor.
Desired outcome: I would like a BIG apology for their small mistakes to my face with a store gift card/credit than Corporate crediting my bank account. You do not mess with other people's money!
This has been resolved. The store has deposited the duplicate charge back into my bank account.

I wanted to let you know that the pharmacist and the helper is very indifferent like they hate their job the mope around, like it’s a burden to their job..
It very noticeable makes me not what to come here anymore get a new place to get my meds. The lady that helped me was Nicole, I’m not sure the pharmacist name is.
She’s a young lady short thin Asian with blonde hair.
Desired outcome: Hire people that what to work there and are happy to see the customers and want to help.
Not a product
My brother Mark Heuer and I walked into Longs in Keaau Hawaii right around 4:45pm ish on Sunday June 27th 2023. This was yesterday. We came in to pick up his prescription medicine.
My brother has many health issues. We are walking back to the pharmacy when I saw my brothers left foot contact a yellow cardboard like plastic covered square ish sales poster approximately 9x9 inches big that was not supposed to be on the floor and he slipped on it and fell hard and quick onto his left knee and hip. He is very frail. I wanted to file a complaint but my brother said he was in pain but needed to get home as he was very tired from being at the hospital all day. right after this happened I was able to help him right up and a male and female worker came up behind us to offer help but I already had him up. so the female worker gave him a grocery cart to lean on while he hobbled to the pharmacy. Today he calls me and he cannot move. He is bed ridden in pain. I asked him if he wanted me to pick him up so we could file a complaint at the store. He said he was in too much pain so I am filing this complaint here. There is accessible documentation and video footage of everything. What must we do next? This is NOT my PERCEPTION. THESE are the FACTS. I am an eye witness as well as the 2 workers.

I almost had a nervous breakdown using your machine. I love this store, been coming here for 14 years - what's up with the robots? First, it is at volume level 10. Then, when I hit finish and pay, it said "scan your coupon" - I did, and there was nothing deducted. The helper explained I needed to put the coupon in the slot. I did that and still, the balance stayed the same. I told him "forget it!" and was walking out the door when he said "wait, the total went down" I'm sorry, but why doesn't the total go down as soon as you scan the coupon? I'm not usually angry by 9 am, but I tried 4 times to get this thing to work and when I asked to use a regular cashier he said she was on break - You don't have more than one cashier?
Desired outcome: Really need to turn the volume down.Its bad for the clients and the poor man working there. Have a real checker at all times because some disabled people can't use computers.
Pharmacy
I am sick of being harassed by you over prescriptions to the point where I am no longer going to use Longs. You call sometimes twice a day, and I used to receive many texts until I stopped text completely. I used to be very satisfied with Walgreens and I am going back even though they are not conviently located.
Also pharmacist one at your 3321 Waialae store has pissed me off multiple times with her rude attitude.

I need to know who I can contact to lodge a complaint having to do with a pharmacist at your Waimea Hawaii Longs. Once again the said pharmacist, Dennis at Longs, denied my refill on time. He wanted me to wait 2 days past when said medication Buprenorphine was to be filled and had me call my doctor unnecessarily and request an early refill. I go by when your HMSA web site says I can reorder my refill at a monthly interval. It is supposed to be every 28 days The other pharmacists are always compliant and fill my order on time. I take a maintenance dose of the medication for chronic back pain. So I need to have it on time and sometimes a few extra for emergencies. He is shorting me 3 to 6 pills a month according to his policy. Why do the other pharmacists comply and he doesn't and who can I complain to? This is not the first time this has happened. He seems to have his own set of rules, like he's more knowledgeable that the doctor. Thank you for your time.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a review of his policies and attitude . Seems to be on a power trip over patients.
I am having the EXACT same problem with Longs in Kona. When I spoke to the pharmacist, I was told “that’s just how it works”. Often when I have this same medication refilled, I’ll come back to get it only to find they gave it to someone else, causing mine to not be refilled up for 4 to 5 days later. Longs has a monopoly on the island and know it. They treat customers horrible, no caring. Even my doctor has said “they know this is a regular prescription for you every month, why are they always out”? I told my Dr It’s a monthly problem. The pharmacist said it’s normal and nothing they can do. Basically go somewhere else if you don’t like our service. I hope someone starts a class action lawsuit against Longs, I’ll definitely support that!
Longs pahoa pharmacy customer service
I went to Longs Pharmacy in Pahoa to ask for vacation refill of my diabetic medication and insomnia medication. I was told by a pharmacy employee there that I need to call my insurance because my refill is not until later date (way past the date I am leaving for vacation, which I also explained to this person). I reached out to my doctor to help me since this pharmacy is of no help. My doctor sent them prescriptions for the two medications. I waited and days past without me getting notification of my prescriptions being refilled. I called back the pharmacy and this person was rude. I asked her to help me refill vacation medications and she cut me off saying she will call the insurance but its not a guarantee the insurance will approve. She said she will give me a call. I then asked her how will I know if the insurance approved it or not. Again in her rude voice, she said I already told you I will give you a call. Her name was Jerilyn or Jennylyn and she needs to be educated on how to deal with sick customers. Longs Pahoa. You need to train your staff not to be rude to customers. I had to call my insurance and explain to them how I was treated at Longs Pahoa and they were very nice to help me.
Desired outcome: Good customer service at Longs Pahoa.
Ankle wrap
There were approximately ten cvs brand ankle wraps in boxes on a metal prong extending out from the wall. They were marked at$14.99. next to them was a similar 3m product marked at 20.99. I purchased the cvs brand but at checkout it rang at the 20.99 price. When I asked them to check the price since it was clearly marked at 14.99, all they would say is it must have been placed on the wrong rack. However, there were only those two options on those two racks.
Desired outcome: Refund of the overcharge. Correct for future purchasers.
Pharmacy
We drove to town to pick up my husbands meds before we went to the ER because he was already in pain. We let them know the situation. They said the prescription got kicked back for a PA (which has never happened before with the same prescription). We called our Dr who then called the pharmacy and waited on hold for 15-20 minutes before they were hung up on. We waited an hour and 20 min and went back in and they claimed our Dr hadn’t called. They weren’t answering the phone!
They were then super rude to us, even though my husband was doubled over in pain. So we left to go to the ER. We called our health plan and we’re told that there shouldn’t have been a PA in the first place. So they tried to call the pharmacy to no avail.
This is the second nightmare experience I’ve had at this pharmacy. I think management needs to address these issues. We drive over an hour from home to fill prescriptions and really don’t deserve to be treated so poorly. It’s a real shame. Every other one of your pharmacies are kind and accommodating. This store is an embarrassment to your company.
Desired outcome: New staff and training. Reprimand and compensation for gas and time.
Longs in Kona has been out of my medication on my refill date in April, May and again on June1st. I’ve attempted to speak with the pharmacist and was told “that’s just how it works, sometimes we run out”. Even my doctor couldn’t believe this statement. The pharmacist just smiles, is very condescending and does absolutely nothing to try to help. That’s just how it works at Long! You may get your medication on time but probably not!
Rhoades pharmaceutical
It is being exposed that longs/cvs along with all the other big chain pharmacies, are taking kickbacks from rhoades pharmaceuticals. Their manufacturing of opioids especially oxycodone is literally poison. Left making very disabled patients sick with zero pain relief. Not to mention rhoades is purdue pharma repackaged! This is the sackler family at it again! Shame on longs/cvs for giving the company that helped ruin loves of pain patients and addicts. You will also be held responsible one day as I hear pain advocates involved with legislation and lobbyists are looking deeply into this. Boycott your main pharmacies and go to the mom and pop places thats who we need to support. They found rhoades oxycodone doesnt even have the right chemicals in it, its been tested. We are coming for rhoades no matter how long it takes.
Desired outcome: Longs needs to take requests for certain brands. The DEA does not have a medical license to practice medicine.
Customer service
I shop at your Kihei Longs on 12/28/22 at 9:42 am. Your store # 9303. First of all, there is no customer service in that store. I was standing by a display and your clerk and manager just walked pass me without a hi, hello, can I help you? I felt like I was invisible.
Another thing your employees should not talk in their native language at the check out. That is very RUDE! I don't know if they are talking about me or not.
Overall this store needs to go to Customer Service classes.
Desired outcome: I would like to see better customer. Your manager and clerks should be more friendly and approachable. The speaking of their ethnic language on the floor should stop. They can have their conversations in the privacy of their breakroom.

Aloha from Hawaii, I arrived at this store in Kaneohe, Hawaii and found one young
girl at the prescription drop off window assisting a female customer, after 18 minutes and 4 visits from other pharmacy staff to assist your employee she still had not finished with this one customer, while waiting to drop off my prescription there were others who had gotten in line behind me who had moved to the prescription pickup line, so I also moved there but said nothing, and waited my turn as these lines were moving, when it was my turn I advanced and showed your employee with the purple hair, a middle aged woman, my prescription and she told me to go back to the line where I had been waiting for 18 minutes, I pushed the prescription and said I would not and told her I would be waiting in the chairs, unfortunately when I turned to sit down I did see that the script did go off the counter and she had to pick it up off the floor, I did not intend for it to go off the counter but clearly I was aggravated at waiting for so long for an under trained staff member to tie up your drop-off counter, how can I tell she was under trained, when she had to go to other staff 4 times over the course of helping a customer to ask how to do something, this is clear indication she was improperly trained or under trained, I sat for about 1/2 hour while my prescription was being filled, not saying anything to anyone, and was notified via text that my script was done, so I go to the counter to pick up, where your head pharmacist on duty tells me loudly in an attempt to embarrass me that what I did was quote uncalled for, to which I attempted to tell her about the reasons but she would not close her mouth to listen to me, she wanted me to know this was her territory and she would defend her stupidity at having an under trained person attempting, unsuccessfully, to help customers, so instead of her taking responsibility for her poor choices she got louder and louder and claimed that since I had never run a pharmacy that I had no idea of what she was talking about, I have run large service departments for auto and truck dealerships, one numbering 74 people and dealt with customer service all my life, and told her so, but still she would not relent, raising her voice and continuing to assert that I was out of line, I told her I did not throw anything but pushed the Rx down on the counter, if it slides off, that was not my intervention, but her lack of professionalism, lack of understanding, unwillingness to get my side of the situation, clearly demonstrates that she is a poor choice to bear such responsibility, for customer satisfaction, this is the first time I have been treated this way by your pharmacy, maybe she was having a bad day, don't know, don't care, it is the responsibility of every employee to embrace customer service, an old marine general once told me that the fish stinks from the head down, meaning that if the tail is rotten than the head must also be rotten, what you do with this is up to you, I am nobody, a meaningless customer who has a complaint, just remember without the many meaningless customers, you quickly run out of people that pay the bills
