i ordered a bumper for my 2015 freightliner cascadia. total cost including shipping was $654.00 i was happy with this on the ticket it states the bumper charge and the shipping charge. total with both is $654.00. i ordered on November 13 2023. bumper was sun to be here friday, then it was supposed to be here yesterday. i called last night as it wasn’t delivered.

i looked at my bank statement yesterday and Vehicle Saftey Pulled an unauthorized charge for $449.71. i contacted them and they tried to charge the $449.00 for extra shipping. the shipping was clearly marked on my invoice and it was paid. I then was supposed to receive the bumper today.

i called the delivery company and told them about the extra charge. the delivery company said that they do not charge an extra $449.00. so i told them not to deliver and i contacted Vehicle saftey supply i demanded all of my money back

I would not ever recommend this company as they try to scam you they put one shipping price on the order when you initially order and then they bill you are not over price shipping price on top of that. They lost my business and I would recommend you think twice before purchasing from them.

I didn't have to wait for my package, but to my surprise, my card was charged an "additonal shipping fee". I agreed to pay approx 14$ shipping charge and then they charged my credit card an unauthorized additional 19$ for a tiny padded envelope weighing less than 2 ounces (.1 POINT ONE pounds). And their customer service SUCKS, rude and unhelpful. So BUYER BEWARE, get your item ANYwhere but here! Tell everyone you know they are frauds and not to order from them or you will be overcharged and treated like crap about it. You will never feel they care about you nor will you receive any customer service.

I filed a complaint with the BBB and I am going to contst the charge with my bank and I'm going to share this horrible experience with all rate/review sites possible.

When I worked in customer service, EVERY customer was worth a LOT more than 19 bucks!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Every review here is true. Today is three weeks since I placed the order, and the third time I called and was told they just shipped. Tracking has been showing "pre-shipment" for two weeks. I can tolerate business related issues, but not complete dishonesty and lies.

Their website says "Fast shipping in the US" but after two weeks of waiting on my order, I contacted them and they said my order had just been shipped. That will make it THREE weeks. That's certainly not "fast shipping". I could have gotten my order from a China vendor in about the same amount of time but at half the price.

I order some parts on 9/29, my credit card got charged right away after asking numerous times when is the order shipping kept and getting various responses, finally the order shipped on 10/13 via *** ground... I would never do business again with this company, fast shipping = 3 weeks. I'm surprised the ComplaintsBoard.com allows them to be members

Their website said both parts were in stock. Called 2 days after making order to find out when they would ship. Was told "maybe" the end of next week. When challenged about the website still saying they were in stock, he admitted THEY DO NOT STOCK ANYTHING! Some guy working out of his kitchen in his bathrobe with his dog yapping in the background. Pitiful liars.

I just wanted to add a positive review for vehicle safety supply. I ordered some mirrors on the 28th of Feb. They didn't ship in the 3-4 days. I contacted them by email. They promptly responded that it would ship the week of 3/15. 3/16 they still had not shipped. I contacted the sales department. Spoke to Daniel. He promptly refunded my purchase. Thank you Vehicle Safety Supply for a smooth transaction.

I placed an order on a Monday. The following Monday morning status still showed pending so I checked ComplaintsBoard.com for reviews. Was about to call and cancel order but before I could the 2 of the 3 items ordered arrived that day. Recieved the last item a couple days later and was shipped in full. 50 pieces for the first two items and 25 for the last item. Recieved all. Was actually a good transaction and they deserve to have a good review along with all the negatives already posted here. I would and will buy from vss again.

I placed my order but never heard a word back. I called after a week and they said it was back ordered and would take two weeks to get in. after three weeks I canceled my order but they made it very difficult. They pretended I didn't cancel it and tried to ship it anyway. The crazy thing is they didn't even have the order. They printed a shipping label but never sent anything. Luckily I was able to cancel through my credit card. these are some shady characters and I would definitely not trust them or purchase from them.

It's not every day that customer service calls you a liar, as you are reading their words from their email. I was constantly interrupted as I was attempting to explain the challenge.I called the light manufacture directly. They said they hear many complaints about Vehicle Safety Supply.No inventory, no communication, lame customer service, you must follow up with them before they follow through!

I ordered, I payed, I canceled the order, I called Vehicle Safety Supply and was told I would receive a refund right away, 11 days later still no refund. Would a legitimate business would sit on a canceled order for 11 days to refund a purchase for $27.59? No email confirmation of order cancellation, No email for phone call to customer service to verify refund, No email in regards to several requests made through *** requesting my Refund. I had to call the bank and make a claim just to get this Vendor to give my money back. I intended on making other purchases, but not after this fiasco. Beware of this vendor.

Terrible , terrible, terrible. Really needs too be put out of business. Ordered lights back in august. Got an email saying they were in back order until October, ok no problem, and that is the last they reached out too me. I called countless times too speak too someone and calls are pick up and then hung up immediately, and when I did finally talk too *** he picks up the phone and says well you shouldve ordered them from someone else if your unhappy and proceeded too hang up the phone. This is absolutely ridiculous, and the things I ordered from I ordered from another company & shipped in no time. Yet I still no parts or refund from VSS.

Ordered lights for the rear tail lights on my work truck, they sent me an invoice. I have not heard another single *** word from these people about tracking numbers etc!Sent them an email saying hey I need tracking numbers besides the fact you didn't put the space number for my house so God knows where the *** they're even going to go! Absolute garbage *** company, that does not do any follow-up, does not answer emails, and clearly must just be scamming people because I'm about to turn them into the *** for fraudulent business practice. I'm so tired of these worthless garbage companies that do *** business and expect to be respected in the business world. GET PROFESSIONAL, OR SHUT DOWN!

Like other reviewers, I would select 0 stars if I could. Placed order mid May, 3 items indicated in stock one with a 5-7 day delay. I was okay with that. Heard nothing till early June when I received email indicating order shipped. Received one week later (problem with carrier), one item was not in package. No explanation given on packing list. Called phone number, to check on order instruction was given to inquire via email. Choosing the other option upon calling again, I was told by person to submit email inquiry. I then sent inquiry from my phone and got a prompt reply indicating the remaining item would ship end of June. Imagine my surprise when I received an email mid June indicating the other item shipped. Unlike the first shipment this one arrived when indicated. In conclusion, would I order from this supplier again? NO.

Actually, if there were 0 stars to give, that's what I'd do. WARNING - do not order from this company. Each and every interaction, from the purchase, to receiving the wrong product, to trying to get information regarding sending product back, broken promises to call us back, broken promises to email us...was exhausting. Each phone call consisted of speaking with Rude Daniel, and once in awhile, he would lie, and say "he's not in", when I know full well I was speaking with him. He always sounded exasperated that we were trying to get our refund. Finally, a few weeks ago, we sent the product back via certified mail, which they have received via ***. Still no refund. Had to call our credit card company and file a dispute. Not sure how a business that has Rude Dishonest Daniel running the show could possibly be in business for 13 some years. Wish I would've read the reviews and saved myself a big headache.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LIAR... He has nothing in stock. He orders just like you can, and has it dropped shipped. He has no idea when your gonna get your stuff, nor where it is. I literally just hung up with him, after stating that "those parts will be here next Tuesday." then we'll ship them priority mail. I made him call the supplier and confirm while I was on hold. He gets back on the line and says they wont be in for 6 weeks. The dudes a crook. Wanna wait weeks and weeks to get your stuff, with no idea when you will actually receive it, this is the company for you! Ordered product almost 3 weeks ago and have inquired multiple times about wanting to cancel the order. No response. Nothing. There was no indication of extended shipping delays. I have a tracking number but it just says the label was created for 2 weeks now. It has NOT shipped. I want my money back.

Order placed with VSS on 1/. Items were listed as "in stock". Contacted seller 2 weeks later on 2/. Seller did get back with me with voicemail saying I would be getting tracking info that same week. It is now 2 weeks later again, 2/*** and still no tracking. Emailed seller. Did not respond. I opened dispute with PayPal on 2//20 asking for refund. Then the items were shipped on 2//20 and received on 3/*/2020. Problem now is only a portion of the order was shipped. I am still missing a portion of my order

i ordered several LED lights promised to be delivered 3-5 days. Paid for by Chase Debit Card on April ***. Mid june after emailing these people nack and fortth cancelling order for a semi truck that i had to send on road . I ask for a return label 2 times. And a refund to my chase card. $302.80. They sent label i sent lights back ive receipt of shipment nack to Vehicle Safety Supply. They said theyd refund me once lights returned. We have written these people approx 35 emails demamding our moneg be refunded amd now i call cannot get noone on phone or hung up on and email respknse stopped july 6th i last them and no response. I just want my money back they received their lights back unopened in same box they arrived in.

Ordered some items from this company on their site on the internet on 12//20 and my credit card was billed immediately and they were paid. On 12//20 I received an email from them indicating that the product I ordered has been discontinued through the manufacturer and that they will go ahead and cancel the order and refund my order. On 1/*/21 I sent an email to them indicating that I still have not seen the refund credited to my credit card used to make the order and that they were already paid through. John A from the company replied on 1/6 and stated that they cancelled the order on 1/*/21 and that it takes 2-3 days for the refund to go through. Today is 1//21 and I still have not been issued a refund from them and I am concerned after reading other peoples experience with this company. ComplaintsBoard.com should delist them as they appear to be a chronic offender with customer service!

I purchased 2 lights on June , at or around 15:46 CST, the lights were sku FSG-[protected] ( federal signal US5 Ultra star strobe beacon tall dome in amber color) and SHO-11-2725 ( Sho-me 11 series led quint light stick all amber). On June , at or around 13:14 CST a John A emailed from email address *** the email stated " ***" On July , at or around 16:24 cst I replied with the following email " thank you for the email and similar beacon suggestions, after further review of both beacons and other products available on your website I'm not longer interested in the beacon light. Since it was discontinued and not marked as such when ordered would it be possible to get a refund just on that beacon unit please? " No refund for the unit has been issued no other email communications have happened. I've called *** the sales and customer service line with no answer from a human being. Being a week has passed now with no contact I'm disappointed in the lack of integrity by this business and hope that you will be able too help.
