I have gone to CVS on New Brittan Ave, west Hartford Newington CT
for over 20 years . One pharmacist In particular work's the knight shift has found it impossible to give me my prescriptions, For Over 4 to 5 times I have gone at night for my prescription's, and every time after walking for 45 minuets to CVS, The Pharmacist claims the Husky Sytsma is down . I can understand that . Because when I usually go at knight and the other framesets that's is there tells me the same thing, and I usually wait 1 hour more or less and the system is back up, and I get my prescriptions . ( best pharmacist ever )But he pharmacist in the knight of 06/13/2021 always has a problem where I can't get my prescription NO Mather what day I go . for the 4th or 5th time, tells me the system has been down from 12: midnight, I was their at 2:30 AM, Then he tells me there is a systam reboot at 3 am till 3:30, so I SAY OK I am in a lot of pain, I still need my prescriptions . I will wait . And after waiting till 4:30 am, he tells me the system might not be up till 8:30 in the morning . after I waited after 2 hours' . And there is nothing he can do . Really insinuating for me to go away .
What a deference in customer care between the pharmacist on06/13/2021 and the other pharmacist that's usually there . Medication is sometimes a matter of life or death .
Another time he tells me the Tylenol precreation that husky pays for is the same as the one of the shelf . If that's so, how come husky pays for the prescribe one and not the one of the shelf ?
Desired outcome: Don't know , you should get some one more professional .
Cost of prescription
I checked cost of Shingles shot online for CVS and it said with coupon it would be $155.00. When I checked with my local CVS they said $198 or $199. I asked about the coupon and they said their system could not take it and I also asked about GoodRX coupon which is also $155. and got the same answer. Why does it say one thing on line and another at the CVS pharmacy in Statesboro, GA.

CVS regularly advertises about walk in services at minute clinics. I Recently saw their ad about walk in Covid antibody testing. Went to my local site in worth Illinois, at around 10 AM on a Saturday. Was directed to sign into a kiosk to make an appointment. Say what? I am a walk-in patient. Was told that they only see people by appointment and was given an appointment for one hour 40 minutes later. I waited. During the time they saw a total of three patients. With repeated time gaps in between. There was no one else waiting. Yet they never even considered seeing me in between patients. Ridiculous! Walkins should be seen between other patients as time permits. I was there for a test it took a total of 10 minutes of their time to [censored] my finger and get my payment, yet they never even considered seeing me. I have pictures of the empty waiting room. I was literally the only one there. Total false advertising and horrible practice by local employees! You need to do better.
Desired outcome: Stop or false advertising or make your employees treat walk-ins

I have a complaint regarding the appearance of an employee at your MLK Blvd. CVS (Durham, NC). I observed an employee (5'2", Black, light-complected, blond hair, female) dressed in tight clothing. Her body outline was visible. This is offensive and, in certain cultures and religions, it is unacceptable and never allowed. Her hair was also improperly dressed — blond colored with dark undertones. The hair style was unprofessional and dearly unattractive. In businesses where food and health products are sold, hair styles must be neat, manageable, and standard. This was not the case for your employee. Her hair dress was baudy and out of place.
I complained to a white male employee (dark hair, 5'3", medium build) who was unhelpful. He had a rough, aggressive manner which was frightening and off-putting. To encounter him on the street I would place my hand before my child as we passed. Please hire approachable males who know no aggression.
I finally spoke to the pharmacy manager who was of little help.
Approx. 6pm, 6/10.
Desired outcome: Fire employee(this includes the aggressive male;women should not be stood down in stores;this is crazy).

Transferring Prescriptions to Walgreens Hello, I haven't been a longtime customer of CVS however I do enjoy shopping at CVS from time to time. I've never had issues with my prescriptions until today and honestly I'm disappointed. I'm transferring my prescriptions back to Walgreens because it's preferred through my Medicare. I called CVS this morning to...

In attempting to fill my mothers pain medication (which was filled at this cvs for many years) the pharmacist tried to charge me $48 instead of the usual $3.00. I questioned why and he couldn't explain it. Then after he played on the computer few a few minutes, he asks me "does your mother know of the opiod issues?" I replied yes and that I control her medicine. He says "oh, ok it will be $3.00" WHAT? He claimed it was a new issue from Medicare. I deal with Medicaid/Medicare daily and there is no such a question. And now...trying to reach someone at CVS is an absolute joke. This complaint probably will never be addressed. Thats fine though, I can take it to the news.

I recently visit my local CVS to pick up a prescription as I have for the last 7 years and I have never received such poor customer service. The pharmacy tech was so rude. The CVS located on Hwy 15 South in Hazard, KY has consistently had extremely poor service for over 2 years now. My husband wanted the J&J covid vaccine so we looked online and found out the CVS on 191 and south dixie highway were offering and advertised walk-ins. We went at 5 pm on a Saturday 6/5 and no one was there for the vaccine. We asked for the Covid vaccine and they said we need to make an appointment. I told her I saw online that you were offering walk-ins. Her response was to come back at 6pm when we are closed and we will see if we have the vaccine available. We decided to go to Publix pharmacy and they took us with no issues. CVS should not advertise something they can not honor.

Read full review of CVSPharmacy at CVS Store # 4825 Not Answering Telephone
Dear Madam or Sir:
This complaint regards the pharmacy staff at CVS Store # 4825 not answering the telephone. On 02 June 2021, I contacted this CVS Pharmacy three separate times to inquire about a medication for my mother who is on Hospice. Each call, I was on hold for at least 30 minutes. While on hold, I placed the telephone on speaker and continued to do my work. No one was ever answered any call. On 03 June 2021, I contacted this CVS Pharmacy again. After being on hold for approximately 22 minutes, I terminated the telephone call. I then recalled this CVS Store to speak with the manager regarding this problem.
The manager was very pleasant and professional; he stated that the pharmacy had been extremely busy over the past week. I explained my problem of unnecessarily long times on hold. He stated that he would transfer me directly to the pharmacy. The call was bounced back to his telephone. He could not explain the reason for this. I would like to know why the pharmacy staff at CVS Store # 4825 do not answer the phone. I would like for this problem to be addressed and resolved. Thank you so very much.
Respectfully,
Brian A. Bates
Desired outcome: Have the staff answer telephone calls within a 15-minute timeframe
Serious embarrassment
I would like to report a serious embarrassment that I suffered on June 2, 2021 at 116 W University Dr. Denton, TX 76201 at about 7PM central time. It has been almost a month since I moved from California to Texas and right away I coordinated with my psychiatrist on the move. After all the change procedure, my psychiatrist's secretary sent the request for my medication to the CVS pharmacy address mentioned above. When I arrived at the pharmacy, I immediately noticed a disorganization inside the CVS, as I had seen several used gloves on the table where the covid vaccine is taken. However, I didn't let this bother me as I was only at the pharmacy to get my medication. At the time, it was very busy and as I was not in a hurry to get my medication, I kept looking for some medications that I wanted to buy, for example; Dramamine and melatonin. After searching several times for melatonin without success, I decided to get in line to get my medication. The first CVS employee, an old man, had a lot of difficulty understanding my name. I had to repeat my name several times and I even spelled it as I usually do while I am flying airplanes; for example; L as Lima, I as India, V as victor etc. He didn't understand me and made me write my name on paper. At this moment I thought it wouldn't be easier if he asked for my ID? I want to emphasize here that I am Brazilian but I have lived here in the USA for five years. I am also a private pilot and understand that I have an accent, however I have never had difficulty communicating here in the US. Therefore, the old man made me write my name on the paper, as he had not found my prescription in the system. Up until that point I thought I had given the wrong address, but then I recovered the communication with my doctor on my cell phone and showed the address to the old man, he confirmed to me that it was that address. Then he passed me on to the pharmacy manager. This manager started looking up my name in the system, and he only found my information at my old address in California. The pharmacy manager then informed me that I would have to contact my doctor to update the address to Denton. I then told the manager that I had already completed the entire address change procedure and that my doctor's secretary had already sent the prescription to the pharmacy. Again the pharmacy manager informed me that I would have to contact my doctor for her to send it to that pharmacy, and again I informed the manager that I had already made this change. Again the manager said that I would have to ask my doctor to send the medication to the address in Denton, at this point I asked to speak to the head manager as this individual did not understand me and gave me the impression did not want to help and did not care what I was talking about. After several attempts to clarify with this individual that I had already made the request to my doctor for a change of address, I asked to speak to the CVS manager. He informed me that he was the general manager and in a haughty tone said that there was no one above him. I then started to ask for help from other employees around so that someone could explain to the manager that I had already requested the change of address for my doctor, this request for help was useless as no employee was willing to help me. After several attempts to show the manager a text message from my doctor, he told me that a message meant nothing to him and if I didn't get out of his way he would call security. At this moment when he threatened me to call the security, I felt very embarrassed. I've never had a problem before being able to communicate and I have never been insulted by an establishment threatening to call security. I consider myself a very polite person, and actually I was a little nervous because I saw that your employee was not making the slightest effort to understand what I was trying to explaining to him repeatedly. I was so depressed and embarrassed by what happened I haven't stopped crying. I did not act in either a criminal nor aggressive manor for him to call security on me. I feel very humiliated because there were several people watching the scene. I thought it would be better to look for another CVS manager. I went to the cashier and ask politely to call another manager. The cashier then called another manager. When I went to talk to the other manager it was immediately obvious that she was not willing to help me either, and even though I calmly explained and showed the message between my doctor and I, she said she could not help me because the pharmacy manager had more power than her in there. I just told the other manager I just wanted someone to explain the situation to the pharmacy manager. Then I asked the manager to let me know an email or phone so I could complain, and no one informed me either. After this situation I contacted my doctor and her secretary, they confirmed the sending of prescription medication and me thus sending the proof that they really had requested the medication. I have attached the request to this email. My doctor told me that she will never indicated CVS to her patients again and we have already switched to wallgreen. While I'm crushed I haven't stopped crying since then, all this time paying for psychologists, psychiatrists and medicine in vain. This week I'm talking to my lawyer to consider a lawsuit against cvs for moral damages. I didn't mention employee names because I didn't pay attention to names as I was nervous, but by the date and time and by the cameras it will be easy to indentify their names.
Through this experience I felt very hurt. The customer service was terrible and insulting. If I was a CVS manager, I would be ashamed of my store and my employees and how they were treating our customers.
Regards,
Livia Fitts.
