Extracares
I have been an extra cares customer for years. Your latest crap with giving.06 and.025 in rewards is absolute crap. Who in your company thought customers would like this? The clerks at my local store are berate by jerk customers for this. I am pissed and guess what your program now sucks so I am going to walgreens.. Do you really think customers like getting.06,.15 etc in rewards? Would you like your elderly dad to have to deal with this nonsense? What idiot kid thought this up?
Desired outcome: return to previous program
Pharmacy - rude, uncooperative, degrading, and failing to assist in a life threatening situation
Thursday, July 29, 2021 CVS Pharmacy - Tiogue Avenue, Coventry RI I called this CVS to find out if they filled my husbands insulin. He went there two days prior and they said they needed to call the doctor for authorization. I spoke with someone in the pharmacy named "Karen", who insisted a 3 month supply of his medication was picked up at another location...

I have two complaints on this site. Both are for horrible service, with one that is borderline discrimination. I thought this site was used for resolving customer dissatisfaction or even a simple misunderstanding between CVS and those nasty old customers whom don't visit them nearly like they used to. I've heard absolutely nothing from CVS on either complaint. Do you guys really do what you say you do?
I wonder...
Regards,
Danny

Mgr, cashier
Was in the Antoine/Pinemont store and was only customer there. Cashier comes from behind counter by her register and told me I needed to check myself out. That's absurd to have a cashier insist I check myself out, why is she employed there if she can't check people out. I spoke with the manager on duty named David. He said CVS is try to educate customers to use self checkout instead of having a cashier do it. I understand the self checkout concept, but that's if it's busy, I was the only customer. David needs to be retrained on how to solve issues, he could have told the cashier to check me out, but instead kept repeating over and over what CVS wants the customer to check out themselves. I've lived by that location since 1980 and never was told by a cashier and manager I have to check myself out. I will never step into a CVS store again. It is plain laziness on the stores part. Word of mouth is stronger than advertisement, I will tell everyone in the oak forest area of my experience.
Desired outcome: Re train David and write up.
Pharmacy not answering the phones
This is Monday. I have been trying to reach my pharmacist since last Monday. Been on hold for hours at a time. Not once has anyone even answered the phone to ask me to wait. I have no car or I would drive up there. My Doctors office has had the same problem...

Grocery department
I'm fortunate to live in Glen Cove, N.Y. where we have 4 CVS stores in a radius of 5 miles from our home. One of the stores has a 24 hour pharmacy, which we greatly appreciate. All the employees are helpful and courteous, considering they seem to be understaffed the many times I have been shopping in the stores. My complaint is when an item is on sale, many...

The pharmacist, Kurian Varghese, at store #10637, 6750 Reading Rd. Rosenberg, TX 77471 is the RUDEST person I have ever dealt with. He filled my prescription wrong and after waiting in line for 20 minutes he told be to come back tomorrow. I said "No, I have been waiting in line and it isn't my fault that you filled it wrong." Then I said "No wonder there...

They are refusing to give a pregnant woman, pregnant with twins my medicine. Paid on CVS app for Express delivery 3 days ago. Never delivered. Came to the store to pick up myself and they are trying to charge me again for my meds knowing that I have already paid. No one tried to help me. They are blaming their third party shipping company. Even though the meds are clearly still here in the store they will not give me my medicine. I will be filing a formal complaint. Pharmacy staff are clueless and rude.
Desired outcome: Still not resolved. No medicine no refund
Won't answer the phone
My cvs is located on Andrew's highway in midland, tx. On July 24, 2021 I tried to call the status of an rx I submitted for refill 10 days ago and I get "in process". I have tried call them 3 days this week and the staff won't answer. So today I started calling them at 2am, 10 am, 1 pm, 3pm, and 9pm. Each call was answered within 10 to 15 minutes of wait time, but told me to hold and put me back with their funeral palor music. Each time I was on hold for 1 hour before I hung up and they didn't return to answer. So today I was on hold for 5 hours and still do not know the status of an rx. This is not the way to run a business. They have really gone down the tube with customers service and the quality of the people they hire. I have recieved other people's rxs in my bag, I had rxs for pain medication go miss at the store, multiple times, they forget to order meds that they are out of, leaving me weeks without my meds. I left walvreens for similar problems. I seriously debating about going to an online pharmacy instead of being jacked around by this store. You can't get the store or pharmacy Manger to anything about this stores poor preformance
Desired outcome: Speak to a district manager to get these problems re6
pharmacy wait time on the phone
I deal with 2 CVS locations, one in Dover Plains New York, and one on 13th Street in Saint Cloud Florida. Both pharmacies have the same problem, wait time on the phone to speak to a person in the pharmacy are excessive, sometimes hours, sometimes not at all. Excuses are not enough staff, staff called in today, CVS won't hire enough staff to answer the phones. I deal with the phamacy alot because both my wife and I have many perscriptions. Automated phone system does not work, waiting for someone to answer for hours is riduculous. I have spoken t and registered a complaint with NYSHIP. They will forward the complaint to Medicare. I I had any other pharmacy to work with I would change pharmacies. I am fed up with excuses, I've heard them all and nothing ever changes. I know I am not the only one complaining, because all the people I talk to who use CVS have the same problem.
Desired outcome: Fix it
Only women have to wait FOREVER and never get a response because CVS has caller ID and I never get through. My husband does right away, every time.
This location needs serious help managing the phones, incoming calls, customer service, etc. These are basic skills which are easy to learn!
This store is notorious for not picking up the phone. We call to check on prescriptions being filled, or to ask questions, and have to wait for an average of 30 minutes each time! And sometimes when they do answer, they hang up on you before speaking!

In Wytheville Virginia, 1370 E Main Street 24382, I went to get my prescription. The first time I came into the pharmacy, they told me it would be 40 minutes until my prescription was ready. Tried to pick up a refill and the price has gone from $30 to $135 for Novartis BP medication Diovan. I asked for generic and the pharmacist said she could not fill generic as the prescription was only for name brand. Also, CVS never contacted me to refill my prescription. Read full review of CVSPharmacy Technician Salary
I recently interviewed with a local CVS pharmacy in ocean county, nj for a pharmacy technician position.
They said the starting salary was $14 per hour. I am a 20 year experienced certified pharmacy technician.
I have a friend working as a cashier for the past year in Bayville CVS and she makes $16 per hour.
How is this even fair ?
I did work for CVS over 10 years ago and thought I would like to work part time for them. I did love working for CVS and would like to work for you again if you increase the pharmacy technician salary to at least $18 per hour.
This is the base salary I am receiving working part time in the pharmacy at a local Walmart ($18.35). Actually with covid pay and shift differential, I am actually making over $23 per hour.
I think its time to review your policy and start giving pharmacy technicians a rate/salary they deserve. They are very smart, capable employees who do just about everything a pharmacist does and they make $50-$60 per hour or more.
Im trying to advocate for the forgotten pharmacy techncians that run the show, take care of customers, process prescriptions, prior authorizations, inventory and doctor calls. This is a very demanding position .
I hope you take that into consideration, as Walmart is recognizing the pharmacy technician and all their workers !
Please let me know if your salary changes as I would be interested in working for you again.
Thank you,
Laura Sarno

Covis19 Testing
On 7/19/21 I had the test done at the CVS drive through facility in Mandeville, HWY 190 E. Today, 52 HRS later I am still waiting for the results. It is unacceptable that after COVIDhas been here for over a year, CVS as a major company can not get it right. Very poor and not recommendable.
To add insult to injury, as I tried to send my message, I got a pop up window telling me that my comments are too short and need to be at least 350 spaces.
What joke.
Desired outcome: Not worth the $139.00 I paid. Should have gone to an Urgent Care facility.
Self checkout
Why are your registers closed and being forced to use the self checkout? Cvs cant afford to hire a cashier or 2? This was at 3pm on a wednesday 7.21 Saint paul, mn

My account
Yesterday, July 20th, I tried to get a few pills because my prescription had ended and for some reason the doctors weren't responding to the refill. This was going on for a few days and I had already received, from CVS, Sunset Road and Whitney Ranch, enough of my prescription for three days. I had called the doctors and they said they would send in the prescription but, after a few days passed I heard nothing from CVS so I called them to see if my prescriptions were ready. They said no, they had been trying every day but no response. I said I would call the doctors and asked if I could come in and get a few more pills because I was out. They said yes. I drove up to the window and after a while the girl said, no, because I already had three days. I explained that the prescriptions were very important to me and I couldn't do without them. "No. I'm sorry." I begged, "Please, I've been a regular customer her for 22 years and I will be happy to pay for them" "No you've already had your limit." I asked if I could see the manager and was told I had to come into the store. I parked the car and went in. Walked to the counter and asked for whoever was in charge. After a short wait a little Asian girl whom I had never seen before, I knew all of the people who worked there and saw none of them. Anyway, after getting my info she went into the computer and told me that I couldn't get anymore pills. I explained the situation and she rudely kept denying me and explaining, "This is a business we can't do this." I explained how desperate I was and said I had to have them, "PLEASE, help me." After going round and round she finally gave in but all the while she was cold and unfriendly. When she finally handed me the pills she said in a cold and sarcastic way, "Here's your prescriptions, BYE." I am always treated like a friend by all of the people there. They call me by my first name and are very friendly and helpful. This crew, especially the manager, were rude and not at all interested in my predicament. I had just convinced my wife, Paula, to switch from Walgreens to this CVS and now this happened. Check the records. I don't usually file complaints. I prefer to go out of my way to compliment good service to a manager but this was downright ugly and certainly didn't help this 84 year old's blood pressure. I worked for almost 50 years in an extremely competitive casino industry here in Las Vegas and good will and customer service was imperative. I know your business is just as competitive so you need to have someone teach that group about how easy it is to lose a good, loyal customer. Check my records. Ralph S. Failure to order a non stocked prescription
My prescription for Wegovy was ordered by my doctors office on June 30th sent to CVS in Stoughton Ma. I thought it was odd I hadn't received a call I figured it was an insurance issue and my doctors office didn't send it in.
