Pharmacy
I walked in CVS Pharmacy today to get the 2nd dose of Pneumonia shot. But I was told that my health insurance does not cover for the vaccination, I have to pay out from my pocket in order to get the shot. Then I contacted UNH and found out that UNH has stopped its contract with CVS in July 2021. I hope CVS should improve communication skill to send the correct message.
Transferring a prescription
My husband takes an immunosuppressant. CVS charges $333 for it. By using GoodRx, we found out that we can get it for $60 for the same number of pills at our nearest HEB store's pharmacy. The HEB pharmacy has been trying for two days to get the prescription transferred. The CVS pharmacy, store #8963, 118 E Harrison Street, Harlingen, Texas, is not answering...

The whole management team at this location #3181 needs to be replaced for poor customer service, making false accusations against customers, making up their own policy, and racism! I filed 3 corporate complaints against this store!
When I was trying to return an unused item purchased from this store, one of the assistant managers denied it claiming that it was opened. I told her it wasn't opened and I didn't use it. The cashier who sold this item to me damaged the box when she was removing the security tag. Also, before I bought this item, I did ask the cashier if I can return it if I don't end up using it or if it doesn't work? Both the cashier and the shift manager said yes. Then, this manager I was dealing with claimed that they don't accept returns on electronics. What a straight out lie? Also, she didn't want to help me because I was not white. I've seen a bunch of them having no problems making returns at this location. So, I called corporate on her then received a call from the store manager the next morning. He said since the item is opened, I can only give you store credit. Guess what? He didn't even look at the item and claimed it was opened. Didn't the previous manager say they don't accept returns on electronics? Why are they accepting the return now? I called corporate again and received a callback from the district manager, Nana within a few hrs giving me the permission to return this item for a full refund via my original form of payment. He was understanding and apologized for my experience. So then, I went back to the store only to be slapped with this by the store manager...
He bullied me. He gave me a hard time returning the item the district manager approved of. He lectured me like a child in front of at least 2 of his employees for over 5 minutes. He forced me to agree with him that my return was denied not because of my race or else he will not refund me. I didn't have the time to go back and forth with him because I had my husband and kid waiting for me outside in this hot weather. I told them to just let me handle this by myself. The store manager even claimed that I had to go that far to return an item. Will I be treated this way if I were white? I've seen white people have no issues about making returns all the time. Am I not allowed to share my in store experience with corporate? If so, why is there a department for customer feedback and everytime I make a purchase, I receive an email from CVS asking me for store feedback?
Now that I finally had a chance to read other reviews about this CVS location, they do have a history for being racist. If I were white, I wouldn't have been treated this way. The store manager didn't even fully inspect the item and still claimed that I said I'm returning it it's because I ALLEGEDLY said I didn't like it so that means I used it. He lied. I never said I didn't like the item. I said I changed my mind and I didn't end up using it so I'm returning it. After lecturing me, he said we're going to refund you because you don't have a history of making returns. Well, the only reason why he refunded me was because the district manager made him accept the return. I could have opened a dispute with my credit card company and got my money back that way or claim the item doesn't work, but I chose not to. He was acting like it's money coming out of his pocket.
I've been a loyal customer to CVS for almost 2 decades and this was the first time I've ever had to make a return. Now this is a sure way to lose a customer forever over an $18 item! I can't believe he treated me this way. He does something like this because he has power to abuse and can possibly get away with it. He doesn't care about losing customers.
Now he's going to get a lecture from the district manager plus a store visit because he was reported again for his conducts. I have not been able to eat or sleep since this incident.
Here's my advice to management at this store, a simple "I'm sorry for your experience, here's your refund and have a nice day!" could have gone a long way and avoided all of this.
Neglect in updating Covid 19 Vaccine records
the following dates and additional data are my vaccine record at CVS Pharmacy # 687.
vaccination #1 - 2/26/2021 Moderna 012A 21A at pharmacy 687
* vaccination #2 - 3/28/2021 Moderna 028A 21A at pharmacy 687
The 2nd vaccination on 3/28/2021, was never recorded on CVS and therefore the NJ Dept of Health site.
After a number of calls a request for amendment Ticket ( IT ticket # INC11079982) was submitted on August 5th 2020.
On August 19th 2021 a follow up call was made to check the status - nothing completed as that date
On September 9th 2021 a follow up call was made to check the status - still nothing completed as that date.
This is most annoying and very disappointing that I still don't have electronic records of both shots.
Desired outcome: Both vaccinations be recorded on my CVS & NJIIS sites.
Covid vaccination
I filed an online application for a booster shot with the West Sayville, NY CVS store and received a conformation for August 31, 2021 at 12:00 PM. As I am 81 years old I had some trouble filling our the form, and getting to the store would not be easy for me, I called as well to check on the confirmation. Was told all is fine, I was confirmed and should...

The prescription phone service menu does not recognize my birthdate, or fulfill the prescription monthly auto renew (which I constantly sign up for) forcing me to wait on line to speak with a pharmacist every month. When I spoke with the pharmacist I was told to "call corporate it", with no guidance as to how to do so. You can and should do better than this, people.

Being a CVS customer for over 30 years. I have never been more disappointed in your operation I am simply trying to get my prescription transferred to a different pharmacy which was filled in Florida to where I am in ct. I have done this many times over the years since we live in both locations. I have called several times and visited the pharmacy and have spent countless hours wasting my time. I can be reached at 917.217.0496. Or email [protected]@yahoo.com. thank you Anthony fodera 10/31/1949

Wrong medicine
On Aug. 30th I received the wrong medicine for a prescription. The pharmacist - J. Chiu from 1 Columbus Pl. NYC dismissed the mistake as if it wasn't important. She said to bring the Med. back to store and she will correct the mistake. This is not good enough for me as I could have gotten very sick for taking the wrong Med. Leslie Lockery

I am writing to lodge a formal complaint in regards to the incompetent and disrespectful way my calls to the CVS were handled today. The store in question is the one on Main St., in Watertown, MA. I called at 3:30pm to find out if psyllium husk interferes with the absorption of certain medication and supplements. I pressed 1, then 7 to speak with the...

Like many before me; I too am overly frustrated with CVS today. My daughter's IMPORTANT prescription was called in by her doctor on the 13th, it is now the 30th and CVS (I believe) has yet to fill it; though I can't be sure because we never got the automated text we usually do, and I can get them on the phone. Sat on hold for 40 minutes earlier today to be...

You're a CVS store in Jasper Georgia it's got to be the worst store in your whole chain one day the drive-through don't work the store is always dirty the bathrooms are ridiculous the store is old and antiquated there's an empty pharmacy store in town you people should really consider looking at I know my family is going to switch over to Walgreens so we do not have to go into the store your parking lot is full potholes your coupon machine barely works the carpet is old you should really send somebody to the store because this is not even close
Pharmacy
I was on hold for over two hours on the phone for this CVS pharmacy. This is the only CVS pharmacy in my area that is open 24 hours and I needed to order an important medication. I was ordering so it would be available as soon as I drove over. It would be nice to be attended on the phone but I eventually hanged up. There is no excuse why I should leave work...

My interactions with this pharmacy have always been up and down depending exclusively on the circumstances and the person that takes care of me. As much as I have praised the good service given to me by a few individuals, I am very direct when it is not so. Today, August 27, 2021, @ 10:00 AM, I went to pick up my medicines. There were only two people on the...
Read full complaintCaremark insurance / customer service
My company has CVS/Caremark for our prescription insurance. What a joke they are! You are supposed to be able to go to any pharmacy you want to get your prescriptions, but it's all lies! I tried going to another pharmacy because I despise CVS pharmacies, and they refused to allow that pharmacy to fill any of my prescriptions! The other pharmacy is set up with goodrx to use when people don't have insurance or their insurance doesn't cover some prescriptions, so I let them use goodrx as my prescription insurance! I even got a few of my meds for cheaper than CVS/caremark insurance!
CVS pharmacies never have enough employees staffed to handle the customer load, and the employees they do have been rude, hateful, and nasty! One Muslim pharmacist gave me the wrong prescription, and when I took it back to get my prescription, the [censored] screamed at me! They literally stole $25 of my money because they refused to fix their mistake! And I'm on limited income and can't afford to waste any money!
It wasn't my fault she f-ed up her job!

I was at the CVS located at 11600 FM 1960 West, Houston, TX 77065. When I checked out of the "self check out" since no one was around, my receipt was all blank with no printing at all. I think while I was shopping, another person had the same problem, but I didn't know what it was until I checked out too. The young girl working there was clueless and then...

I scheduled a vaccine appointment for the CVS store on 1747 Cahuenga Blvd location for today 08.26.21 at 1pm… I arrived punctually and prepared at the assigned location and was told to wait an hour; the assigned nurse had gone on a lunch break. I understand a break is certainly needed - but first off - the way I was informed about this unexpected change by...
Read full complaintHome Depot gift card
On August 25 I purchased in one transaction two Home Depot gift cards at CVS (#[protected] York Rd. Towson, MD 21204. One for $100 and the other for $200; both were activated according to the receipt. The person who received the $200 told me it had a zero balance.
Phoned CVS #2216 that evening and was told there was nothing "she" could do about it but I could "come see" the manager between 1-7AM the next morning. That time was unreasonable and I said so; was told by 10am would be okay. I decided instead to phone and did so about 8:15 am on 8/26/21 because of concern that I would not see the mgr. if I waited until 10am.
Spoke to the manager, named King, and was told CVS would not refund the money because the card was activated and it was out of his hands but to phone Home Depot because it was their responsibility. And, so I did but was told that it was not their responsibility because it had been sold through a "third party" provider. For the next hour I was in a round-robin match between CVS and Home Depot. After my 4th phone call to Home Depot and finally speaking to someone with authority, and 3 conversations with King, knew I had lost the match so phoned my credit card bank and told them I am disputing payment to CVS. Also phoned Cash Star and they had no record of the gift card so what happened to "activated"?

Carepass
Carepass expired on 9/272021. I called to cancel on 8/20/21 as of expiration date. Representative cancelled as of 8/26. I called CVS carepass to correct error and they said there was nothing they could do. Supervisor not available. I have been dealing with other carepass issues for two months now with absolutely no resolution. No one that I can speak with has authority to correct errors that they themselves have made.
My email is [protected]@att.net.
Desired outcome: Reinstate my carepass benefits thru my original expiration of 9/27/21.
Blade for men - shaving gel
I decided to try a 2 pack of the CVS Blade for Men shaving gel
The first can, the press button broke while trying to dispense the gel
The 2nd can, worked for about 4 try's then the gel was straining to come out
This was a nice attempt to copy the better product Edge Shaving Gel by Shick — Hydro 5
The CVS brand was very poorly made and useless, I ended up throwing both cans out in frustration
Desired outcome: Get off the shelf
Closing cash drawer early
The CVS at the Watergate complex in Washington D.C. closed their final cashier with cash BEFORE the store closed. Obviously some clerks wanted to get out early. However, this is a violation of federal law. On each currency, there is a line about being used for all public and private debts. Now, businesses are trying to encourage people to use credit, fine, as long as cash lines are still available. The CVS identified here violated that requirement.
In fact, the more I think about it, I will file a complaint with the US Treasury as well.
Your clerks need to be advised of federal law, and should have reopened the cash drawer.
