I filed an online application for a booster shot with the West Sayville, NY CVS store and received a conformation for August 31, 2021 at 12:00 PM. As I am 81 years old I had some trouble filling our the form, and getting to the store would not be easy for me, I called as well to check on the confirmation. Was told all is fine, I was confirmed and should just go to the store. When I arrived for my appointment, the pharmacist was rude, abrupt, and began harassing me about my medication. He told me I was not eligible, should leave and come back another time. When you are my age it's difficult to be treated like you are an annoyance. If indeed I was not eligible you should not have given me a confirmation, agreed to it over the phone, had me make a difficult trip to the West Sayville store, only to be thrown out. Conduct like that is not expected from a health provider.
