Popeyes

Terrible! The chicken is all breaded. This is totally a scam. They making the chicken looks big because of the chicken breaded. There was no meat. It's all flour and chicken skin. Popeyes is one of my favorite fast food in Chicago. But eating Popeyes in Philippines I wouldn't recommend. They will ripped you off with your money for the quality of food you getting.

Twice now I have been to the Popeyes at 45 Duval Station Road in Jacksonville. The first time as I approached the menu to order someone came out and placed a note asking we place our order at the window. After waiting 20 minutes to get to the window, they tell me they don't have any more tenders. Can you imagine that at the dinner hour? Such poor management planning. Tonight, I tried again. They had original tenders only, no spicy tenders. Again, can you imagine, at the dinner hour? The tenders used to be the size Publix has. Huge and worth the money. Tonight they were not. Popeyes has decided to take a Publix tender and slice it four times and they call that a tender. They are NOT juicy. If you can find the meat, they are NO LONGER worth the purchase.

Good Afternoon. I had waited for months and months to be able to try your chicken sandwich. I am not a fast food eater but I only eat chicken as my meat. NO BONE. I tried the KFC chick sandwich absolutely not acceptable ! I tried the BK chicken sandwich absolutely not acceptable ! I WILL NOT TRY THE McDonalds Sandwich ! So was finally able to try Popeyes. I was SO disappointed. The meat was thin and breaded then doubled over and breaded again. It was not the vision I had seen on any commercial or advertising. It appeared the meat came in the wrong cut so they made it work as as a sandwich. Well that was not enough meat with too much breading. when i put in my order the person taking he order i told i wanted it freshly made, he said we just opened its all freshly made. Not really its already sitting there in the warmer. So i also ordered a large fry's. the fry's for being freshly made were already semi warm and greasy. Not as I was imaging them either. The person should have just made my order as I asked freshly ! I called the complaint line and I am on file there. I called on 7/6/21 around 11 am. I also have pictures. They also tried to make the sandwich more thicker buy putting on way to much mayo. photo 1 is an up close sorry blurry of the doubled over thin pieces with too much breading and mayo. photo 2 is one side that isn't all the way doubled over with thin pieces. photo 3 is the mayo so thick it is coming out of the bun. I will never try popeyes again it was a waste of my money and time. if the complaint line would have offered me a free sandwich and fries to try again even after i said i won't be going back. I would have tried it again just because I have read so many positives

1. They are always out of items on the menu.
2. Staff is rude. They act like they are being greatly inconvenienced when they have to stop idle chit-chat and actually take on order.
3. They are highly unorganized. My order has been wrong as often as it has been right. I just flip a coin and hope for the best.
4. Half of the time, the chicken is old and biscuits are hard & cold.

We recently moved to Griffin, GA and were thrilled there is a Popeyes nearby (the Taylor St. location).
The first time we went, the drive thru speaker was broken and you had to drive to window to order. At the window we were told there was no shrimp, no rippin' chicken, and it would be a 20 minute wait on tenders. It doesn't even take 20 minuted to cook chicken tenders. We left.
The second visit someone greeted us on the speaker and asked us to hold one moment. He came back about 5 minutes later and I placed my order. He didn't say anything back. Nothing. Complete silence. About 5 minutes later, a lady greeted us again and asked for my order. I gave the order again- and she didn't respond. Silence again. Not a word. We waited 5 minutes more but no one ever came back. We left.
Tonight we went at 7pm and tried to order an 8 piece meal, only to be told there were no sides available. As in none. No cole slaw, no mashed potatoes, no Mac and cheese, no French fries. Nothing. We could have a box of chicken but nothing else. So we left again.
Obviously we won't be trying again, and since you have a one-star rating, you clearly don't care, but I thought I'd pass on the feedback. If you can't do better than this, maybe you should close the location until you can get it together.

I recently visited the Popeyes in Wallingford, Ct. Store # 10109 on July 3rd 2021. I was not satisfy with the meatless pieces of chicken I received in the 12pc family meal I brought again! Some was more bone than a normal pieces of chicken that it should have been. It seem like they cut the meat out from the breast and the thighs to make their nuggets and strips instead of using boneless meat that they should've brought to make the chicken strips and nuggets with. This is not the first time I have experienced this meatless chicken pieces I am getting from this location. I have been to the other locations in Ct. and never had experienced this at all. I have brought meals from the Hamden and New Haven locations. I understand that each locations is own by different owners since it is a chain business. I believe the owner of the Wallingford location is trying to cut cost by cutting meat out from the breast and thighs and even legs to make the chicken strips and nuggets with.

This is about the new Shelby, NC (store #13580).

1) The service is relatively slow. Usually, when you're in like at drive thru...the 1st thing you hear is: "I'll be w/ you in one minute". This has happened each time I've pulled up there.

2) When inside ordering, I waited today for about 2-3 minutes at the counter while they were working & talking about "who comes in at what time...I'm getting off at ____, etc. [you get my drift]" and as a customer, I don't wish to hear about things like that--I want to be waited on!

3) PARKING! This new store doesn't have much parking--granted. There are only 8 parking spaces on the right-side of the store (which is closest to the entrance), and 2 more marked as handicapped, for a total of 10. I've notice that your employees park there! They should park at the BACK! That's "Management 101" people!

You have a friendly staff, but these issues need to be addressed.

The classic chicken sandwich was a huge disappointment, it was not a regular chicken breast, (2 sandwiches from 1 breast) must of been double fried very tough to chew. I have been there before and thought it was great, but this location has gone downhill fast. Will never go back. the location is Collier Blvd, Naples Florida.

This store #12483 is on my route going home in the afternoon. Today I orders the 5 piece tenders (mild), Mardi Gras sauce and unsweet tea. At the window I was told no Mardi Gras sauce, I paid for order, got bag with a box and side order. When I got home I found one piece of chicken and fries. My side was red beans and rice (which I got). It is the last time I stop at that location because there is almost always some mix-up (deliberate?) between what I order and what I actually receive. Not mild as ordered, often wrong spiced mixed with order, etc. I tried calling the phone number on the receipt and got a FAX machine.
There is another location I will try but this store #12483 is beyond a doubt a poor representation of your product and image. I am including a scan of the receipt. I don't know how you go about resolving this but unless someone steps up it will continue.
I know good help is hard to find but this location is really deficient.

I just take my chicken orders and went home, checking on my receipt and they charging something I did order, call the the store and they told me they going refund if I have to bring the receipt back today for a refund if not today there will be not today there will be no refund, extremely bad service, this is not acceptable, I need someone give me an answer, this is the store #2958

Gave me wrong sides
Requested sauce plus extra sauce I paid extra for not in bag
No silverware or napkins

Had no utensils to eat it with. If we had utensils, no sauce to eat it with. And if we got to that point couldn't clean our hands or face.. kept driving and ended up going through McDonald's drive through in next town

Positive note. They did not have a cooked chicken breast and offered to cook one if we had an extra 5 mins. We waited for that. It did look good but my wife needs a fork and knife to cut into small enough pieces.

I do not normally complain but three different errors on one order and see just ate not able to eat it by time we get home it would not be safe to reheat. So food and money wasted

First, I enjoy your product.
My complaint is about poor communications.
On my recent visit to your store at 1790 W. Algonquin Rd. Mount Prospect, IL I had to give my order five times and each time I had the order taker repeat my order back to me and then when I got home the spicy chicken was not spicy.
The problem was that the order taker had very poor English language skills and I don't speak Mexican. Also he did not know the "register" very well or the products he sold.
On the way out I voiced my complaint with what might have been the man in charge and he made light of my complaint.
I won't stop buying your produce but I will have to try another location and unfortunately there none close.
