I had a reservations for a car with a resevation number of B72479173, for Tiran between 13-20 July 2019, and paid its total cost (205 USD) by my credit card. But Rental voucher indicates to be paid only108.04 Euro.
Later on, I had to mofified the reservation due to increase the number of passenger.
I click "modify" option from the reservation web page, and choosed another car (opel).
But I didn't like the price and this car (opel).
I wanted to choose another car, then only option was "cancel" on the web page and thats what I did. There was no other option to choose other car.
Unfortunately that whas it.
Unfortunately my previous reservation that I paid was also cancelled. That was not I didn't want
Now what should I do,
I didnt want the cancel my previous reservation, just want to modify with another car,
Though I did not want to cancel, I will be punished by cancealletion fee and so on?
If I was charged for the canceallation fee, when the rest of my money will be refunded to me?
Would you please help me?

When I booked my car it gave me the option on airport or off so I picked on. The third party booking was Green Motion who was not at the airport. When we got to the office I had to wait an hour as not enough people worked there. Then come to find out that my US driver license was not valid in there terms (economy booking. In US they are only valid for five years so the issue date could be less than the 2 years required. I've never in my 30 years of booking rentals had the issue date being a problem. In fact when I was in there today they had a lot of unhappy people. You can't even get hold of them on the phone as I want some sort of compensation. Never again will I go through economy bookings and Green Motion were very unfriendly. I had to get a taxi home and now I have to find another rental. Very very unhappy
cars rent, no compromise, no service
I made a car rental reservation for yesterday through your website. I received the email and arrived at the meeting point of the Lisbon airport (as directed in the email) 5 minutes before 20:00 and waited until 21:00 and no one from Flizzr appeared to give me any advice about the which had occurred. The company's lack of commitment is something I have never seen anywhere, since I had a reservation and I counted on the vehicle to carry my luggage, which generated great problems to solve.
On the other hand, the reservation was made through your website, which gave me some confidence, however, even though I got in touch, the clerk informed me that there was nothing that could be done other than this complaint.
At the end I made a reservation that did not help, which involved two companies which I can not trust because they do not guarantee the service you propose.
I would like at the very least to have the chargeback of the reservation on my credit card.

The worse company. I rented through economy bookings which went to Aco rent a car which in turn came out to Rent car 4 less in Orlando Florida. My rate was jacked up to 4 times although I had confirm booking through economy bookings with my own insurance and my own SunPass account for Florida toll road. I got stranded although I booked few weeks in advance. Don't trust or use this company. I am renting car in Orlando every two weeks and this is the worse company. Very shady location at Clarion hotel with each room with different rental car company. Avoid all of them. I give them minus 10 rating. I ended going back to airport and had to pay double with different company. Shame on economy bookings for booking customer with very shady rental companies

Ik heb een 14 daags autohuur bij economybooking.com geboekt, inclusief de all-inn verzekering (FULL-COVERAGE) met een max. schadebedrag van € 3000, - wat vergoed zal worden.
Ik heb de auto ingeleverd met een scheur in de voorruit (steenslag) die ook onder de verzekering viel.
Ik heb aan alle voorwaarden voldaan (rekeningen, documenten, foto's, video's toegestuurd).
Het is nu 10 weken geleden en heb nog steeds geen cent ontvangen (€400, -).
Ik heb zeker 20 e-mails gestuurd en kreeg een enkele keer (na ruim een maand) bericht dat de afhandeling (door drukte) nog zeker wel 60 werkdagen zou duren.
Mijn simpele geclaimde schade is niet te verhalen bij een tegenpartij, dus de afhandeling zou binnen 14 dagen makkelijk afgehandeld kunnen worden.
Ik heb nog hoop dat ze tot betaling overgaan, maar dit zijn natuurlijk ontoelaatbare streken.
Indien ze niet betalen wie heeft dan nog een advies voordat ik juridische stappen gaat ondernemen.

Do not book car rental through EconomyBooking.com. They are worse than worse. One star is far too generous. We had not previously used EconomyBookings.com but we were impressed with the vehicles they offered and the prices. It was arranged that we would be calling an off-site number from the Lisbon airport and they would greet us with the car. When we called we got a recording (in Portuguese). After asking someone to translate we found they were no longer in business. We had not been notified by EconomyBookings nor did we have a way of getting hold of them. It took over an hour to find someone, anyone to help us track this down since they didn't have an airport on-site presence. Bless the kind soul that took her time to call people that in turn called others and were able to provide the name of the company that would provide the service. Once we were picked up and arrived at their site we found that we had to pay for A LOT of extras which seemed contradictory to the contract such as we had paid for an additional driver but were going to be charged again by the rental company. We took full insurance coverage and yet we were going to have to put down a !, 000 Euro deposit for any damages. This was supposedly refundable but after our experience we were leery. Upon our return I contacted Economy with no response. I emailed yet again and told them that I felt that the additional driver fee should be refunded BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY AT THE VERY LEAST I WANTED AN APOLOGY. Never heard a peep from them and will NEVER again book through them. In a foreign country and basically stranded because of their failure to notify us that the rental car agency they booked us with was no longer in business. Of course all of this was prepaid so why should they respond.

After we were pu from the airport and taken to right car when in to the office and was ask for driver licence and booking credit card handed it over and after some time that the cost og the car plus insurance was $560.00 I said I have full insurance with belair was told never heard of them and we only use our insurance. I also said that my credit card insure the car no only ours or no car now leave we ask for a ride back to the airport was told no ha ha find your own way me with 2 replaced knees and my wife how had a miro stoke 3 months earlier I had 2 walk 2 blocks found sixt rentals who help us out stay away from right car and the next person who walk in happen to them also stay away

I booked 7 days car rental for $123.87 EconomyBooking Charge my credit card a Fee of $17.54. I request a Lyft to car rental center in Miami airport then U_SAVE bus driver pick me up to the location about 300 meters, when I reached the customer service counter I gave them my reservation copy & number and I gave Mr. Ernest my Florida Driver ID. and My GEICO Policy card.
After few minutes They told me I have to by car insurance of $12.00 a day plus SUNPASS Daily fee, I reject their offer. Their bus driver took me back to Airport car center . in that time I called EconomyBooking twice and filed claim. three weeks passed and they never pay me back the fee of $17.54.
The final email I received from them they reject they bay me back.

Rental company did not have on line facilities to change dates of car hire, I called the car hire company and they changed the date to one day earlier and informed me the booking reference was the same. they did not make it clear that the rental company was different and my previous booking was full insurance cover, I made it clear they can change the booking as long as the details are the same regarding full insurance cover. when I arrived to pick up the vehicle they did not make it clear who to pick up the car from. I stood in a line for one hour only to find the booking reference was cancelled with my original booking company. after a lot of searching I found out that the new car hire company Record GO changed me after hours booking of 40 euro and no insurance cover as I already paid so I had to pay 135 euro to fully cover the car insurance. I was disgusted by this lack of service and no terms or conditions were forwarded to me. I paid for the vehicle on line then I paid over 300 euro extra for the hire of the vehicle.

While on a trip to Hawaii, we booked a reservation through economybookings.com using our debit card. As normal, the amount of the rental was pending in our account. We arrived to receive the rental car, and provided our debit card as payment. Thrifty, who the rental was confirmed through, stated that in order to use our debit card, i had to pass a credit check. I was not aware of this and could not find this anywhere in the terms. My credit was poor due to job layoffs the previous couple of years, and as suspected, I failed and was denied the rental car. However, economy bookings still charged the full amount and stated we were not eligible for a refund. In the process of a charge dispute currently between them and my bank. Stay away from economybookings.com! They are crooks! A simple google search will show their horrible history.

I will NEVER rent from this company again! I cancelled my car reservation, when I converted the euro to USD I found out that the cancellation was 150 and my reservation was 156 so I immediately called back to keep a car only to find out that they wanted to charge me more money because they said today's rate was more than at the time I booked even though it was literally 5 Seconds. The other thing is when I initially read it I thought it was an American company I never dealt with a gyro company and we always pay for our rental cars after we use it and bring it back but this company immediately took my money and charge my credit card and there was no prior notification that I would be charged immediately. Lesson learned never again will I book with this company it is definitely a ripoff!

I booked a car today (9 Sep) to pick up from Majorca airport. I made the booking about 11:30 for 13:00 pick up. I received a booking confirmation email. When I arrived at the airport to pick up my car from Record Go I was informed my booking was not on their system. I called the economy booking phone number and was informed an email would be sent to resolve the matter and that my booking would appear after 10 minutes. 15 minutes later I tried again but was informed that my booking was still not on their system. I tried calling the Record Go office but an automated machine told me the office was not open on Sundays. I called economy booking once again and was told that the booking might be on the system in half an hour, but they did not know if and when the booking would appear on the Record Go system. With my booking now uncertain and running 55 minutes late I had no alternative but to make a new boing at the desk at the cost of 78€. As there were no other cars left I had to take out this deal including the total comfort local cover, this was the cheapest option!
I am asking to be reimbursed for 62.18€. (78€-15.02€, the cost of the original booking).
It was economy booking who confirmed I had made the booking, and then did not ensure my car was ready for me at the agreed time of pick up. Economy booking then failed to provide adequate information as to when or if my booking would make it onto the Record Go system and left me no choice but to make a more expensive booking. This left me out of pocket through no fault of my own.
I expect economy booking to take responsibility for their shortcomings and do the right thing and reimburse me the extra money I had to pay without causing me any more stress.
I got a reply from economy booking... they said I was a no show... they obviously don't have the brain power to comprehend my complaint. I've asked them to review it because I wasn't a no show... their system failed. But this is clearly too much as now they are ignoring me!

I rented a car in Madrid Spain in May of 2018, the car broke down within hours while I was driving on the highway. The car had to be towed back to the rental car place. I expected a full refund and it's been 4 months and I can't reach anyone by phone and I've sat on the phone for an hour waiting on hold. I got a few emails back from them and they advise that the rental car did not find anything wrong with the car. I would not lie about a car stalling on the highway in a foreign country nor spending hours waiting for help and assistance from a tow country. My whole day was ruined by this experience and I didn't use the car and expect to get all of my money back. They have stopped responding to emails and you can't reach anyone on the phone.

I purchased the full coverage from Economybookings.com, which it is advertised as excellent and better service than the one provided from the final rental company. Unfortunately I had an accident and so I claimed the full coverage through Economybookings.com. I received an automated email saying they would reply within 7-10 days. After more than a month I'm still waiting for that reply. Not sure if the insurance behind them actually exists or it's all a scam!

I am complainting about the fact that I did a reservation on name of Andrei Ioana, with number B52044546, for 23 August, from Budget company. At the reservation moment Economy Booking took 35$ fee from my debit card.
One day before the rental day I double-checked with the company if it's possible to rent a car only with debit card, just to be sure that everything it's ok for my planned trip. The answer was yes.
When I arrived at Budget company, they said that I can not take the car, because they operate only with credit cards, not with debit cards.
So the problem it's not only the fact that all my plans for that day was ruined and I lost the rest of the reservations that I did for my trip, it's the fact that this company EconomyBookins uses un unappropriare system of fees charching before to be sure that the costumer could take or not the car. They didn't specify on the site if it's there any issue that the costumer could take in consideration.
For this fact I will never use this site of reservations again, and I will never recommend to anyone.
I think it's fair to receive my money back, because I didn't benefit of any service neither from the rental cars company, neither from EconomyBookings.com

THE worst possible car rental experience!
In August 2018 we decided to book a car through Economybookings as they offer a good price via their booking service.
We arrived at Cairns Airport (Australia) to find that the company providing the rental car (a reliable & well known company) had not even been informed of our booking, even though we had received an email from Economybookings 10 hours earlier confirming that a car was ready for us to hire.
*We paid a deposit of approximately $200 Australian via VISA at time of booking.
So there we were left standing at the airport with no car. Busy season meant that no replacement was possible either.
The company is setup in Spain which makes it impossible to rectify any possible problem and had to wait until 9pm Australian time to call them.
That evening their support team kept us online for 1 hour with no answers for us at all, meanwhile we could hear laughter and jokes in Spanish in the background from the operator and his colleagues.
After 3 days we were forced to rent another car with another company as no other cars were available during this busy period.
After many phone calls we are still waiting for the deposit to be returned which is now almost 1 month ago!
I sincerely hope that my review as well as others below me can assist readers in choosing a car rental agency and not make the same mistake we did.

I rented a car on line by the time I was ready to pay they doubled the price claiming that I had purchased Total Protection (Insurance) I emailed them refusing the insurance and called them modifying my reservation to the original price of 206.29 Eu. The agent in the phone advised m that they would refund the difference. They have never refunded my money. When I tried to call them they give 3 options; 1 for renting a car, 2 for problems while you are renting and 3 for customer service. Guess what? they answer 1 and 2, but when you try #3 you get disconnected.

I made a rent through the Economy Bookings page. When I reached the end, after having entered the bank details and paid, the system told me that it had not been processed, that it called. I put all the data back in, and he told me the same thing again. I phoned, and nobody answered. I used another rental website that worked without problems.
When I realized, they had charged me 2 times the rent. I called them, I explained, no case. I wrote them, no case. They have stolen my money and they have not given me any service.
Nothing recommendable, they rob you, they are thieves.
car rental agent never received the downpayment paid to economybookings
Recently, I booked a car in Tasmania from Economy bookings website and was told to pay a downpayment of around 120$ upon the booking.
When I went to Tasmania as per schedule, I was told that the agent of the car rental never received any downpayment and thus we were told to pay the full price again. They told me to check with economybookings regarding this matter which I did but havent got a response/reply so far!
