I booked a car rental from economybookings.com and will NEVER again make the same mistake. Their booking confirmation email said I would pay a total of $294 for my car...this, in addition to my mysterious $65 additional fee. Well, this TOTAL amount was $200 less than what the final bill was. After 2 months of dispute, which was taking forever, I decided to pay it. They Won. The foreign company is FALSE advertising and I don't have enough time or money to fight them. Please BEWARE to never book anything with this FRAUDULant company, unless you want to pay extra $$ that was not stated in the original contract. Save your money. Go directly to the Car Rental Website. DO NOT use ECONOMYBOOKINGS.COM

On Sept. 27th. I booked a rental car for Florida for Nov.21st. 2015 through EnonomyBookings.com . An amount of USD 224.06 as TOTAL cost for a specific rental car was advertised on their website and US$ 35.58 was requested as a down payment; the balance of USD 188.48 to be paid upon arrival at the ACE rental station in Florida . There was NO mentioning of any extra cost at the rental station in the Fine Print: Terms And Conditions, which I read carefully ( since I pointed out the discrepancies to their rep. Mark at one of my phone calls, some of the FINE PRINT on their website has changed now. ). ~ When booking that car and authorizing the down payment via PayPal, a confirmation page came up with a charge of US$ 171, 46 which was deducted from my PayPal account right away . - I contacted EnonomyBookings.com immediately and talked to Julia. – She assured me, that it wouldn’t be a problem to change the booking terms, since I was charged an additional, unauthorized ‘Refundable Excess’ charge ( which is called “NEGATIVE OPTION BILLING; that actually is an illegal practice, but companies do get away with it ), a charge, that is being imposed as an EXTRA by EconomyBookings.com. - - “I will talk to our Support Department” she said “and the fees will be reimbursed”; NOT SO ! - I had to involve PayPal into this mess, and only they got the EXCESS charges of USD 135.88 back 3 days later ( which would have been lost for me ! ); that actually annoyed EnonomyBookings.com as I noticed during one of my phone calls. Talking to Michael, Wednesday Sept.30th., he suggested, it would be better, to cancel the whole booking for this rental car. – As he mentioned, they would then reimburse the down payment not later then Oct. 5th. - - The company sent me a confirming e-mail dated Sept.30th. cancelling my booking. Today, 17 days later, I spoke to 10 different employees on different occasions from that company about this problem and was assured, that my complaint would be resolved in a matter of a few days; “please call back” I was asked several times. I have spent over 2 hours in total on the phone with this company without success ! Even so promised, as of today, Oct. 12th. I still did NOT receive my refund for the cancelled booking. TAKE THE ADVICE FROM AN UNHAPPY CUSTOMER: DON’T DEAL WITH THEM !

I booked a car over portal Economybooking - it was easy... too easy:
I was not able to rent-a-car at the location.
I do have visa electron, and rent-a-car companies refuse to issue a car despite my limit of almost more than a car value.
Economy booking refused to reimburse what they charged.
The explanation was that in "general conditions" there is a note that they will not reimburse cases like this...Of course, general notes were visible only after you pay.
In conclusion:
-yes, I should of known better, but..
the fact stay:
- I did not get a car
-Economybooking cherged me full rental and would not reinburse, even when I mentioned that I would have understanding for some processing fee
-Economybooking did not pay anything to rent-a-car company
-Economybooking kept all the money.
... Nice business model Economybooking, very profitable...

Terrible! When I arrived at the airport and called I was informed there was no vehicle available and when I called booking group the representative put the blame on somebody else an then hung up on me. I did find a car but it cost me much more because I was a walk up customer with no reservation. Then when I got home I contacted booking group to get my $$$ back that they had charged my credit card and they directed me to [protected]@bookinggroup.com which replied informing me that they would get back to me in 7 to 10 business days. WORTHLESS! To be continued...
economybookings scam
They rented me a car in Valencia with drop-off in Barcelona, but when I got to the rental car they told me I must pay double because of different drop-off.
And then they told me that in their system (the rental company was GoldCard) I appear with some financial risk, yet they couldn't tell me what that is (perhaps a lower credit card limit or an unpaid traffic fine).
They charged me the entire amount, although they haven;t gave me any car.
Right now, after about 45 days, EconomyBookings responded to my complaint and told me that it is in their Terms & Conditions that they cannot refund me anything.
So I paid the full amount of the rental fee, although they refused to give me any car and that amount won't be refunded.
EconomyBookings are definitely the biggest crooks I have met to date.

Outright SCAM. I booked a car for LA, upon my arrival I was refused a car by Flightcar and claimed my driver license is not accepted, which I've never had a problem with other companies like Dollar, Avis, Budget. I wrote and call Eocnomybookings.com for a refund and was give all sorts of reasons that I did not adhere to the terms and conditionals and refuse to give me a refund. BY ALL MEANS DO NOT USE THEM.
SCAM. Do not use them at all, if you do not believe all the reviews you have read on the internet, try it out for yourself and will know how much you regret using them.
I regret booking my rent-a-car in Sofia Bulgaria. I was bullied in the Low Cost Cars in Sofia Airport office of the company. I was treated as a criminal, shouted at, and made feeling guilty for nothing, charged twice and blamed to break the company rules, while nothing was broken, just to have fake reasoning to charge me extra and twice.
Terrible experience, I was reduced to nothing and all in tears. Nobody deserves that mafia racket attitude. {lease never make my mistake to book from these criminals.
rip off
Unfortunately, there is no option to check 'no stars' when rating this company. This company is a rip off. They offer an insurance called "Refundable excess" to cover any damage upto a relatively small amount. When making a booking, I did not realized that this box was already checked, so I had to pay $97 extra for this insurance. The way it sounded (refundable) I thought it would be refunded after I completed my trip since I didn't do any damage to the rental car. Well, it is NOT refundable! The wording on their site and documents need to be read very carefully. Because of this rip off alone, I will NEVER book any vehicles through this company. They can rip someone off only once!
Additionally, I had to wait for more than one hour to pick up my car at my destination as there was only one agent helping and a long line of customers. This was excruciating after a very long trip. If I hadn't already paid for this reservation, I certainly would have gone to another car rental counter which would have been faster AND cheaper!
Furthermore, this company as a middleman does not provide better prices when booking rental cars. If I went directly to the car rental company, I would have gotten a better deal. NEVER do business with the Economy Bookings!
Big big big trap
It is a big mess and a huge trap. Worst service of all and... big big big trap. I paid the entire rental and later I had to add one more day. They would charge almost the price of a week to add one more day. I requested to leave that way. So they automatically charged more 77 usd (the original period, without the extra day). They explained me that those were taxes, not included before, but now included. They just decided to add the taxes. So I canceled the entire reservation, as I could cancel up to 72 hours in advance. They charged me more 33 dolars.
Some more facts about them: To receive an email reply from them you have to send more than 5 emails. To have the refund it takes 30 business days. Their prices are the highest in the market although they have good options at unknown rental companies that if you do a research are cheaper at their own website - besides these cheaper companies don't have airport counters.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!..Orlando airport offsite ..we get there and we wait an hour to be served..why..because EVERY SINGLE PERSON AT THE DESK is having a screaming match with the desk workers!We are like...what is going on here?..finally our turn...when asked for proof of insurance..i tell them I have purchased through my home insurance(which I have)..this guy says ..nope you have to buy ours..and that it CLEARLY said that on my order..which it did not!..more than the cost to rent the car for 9 days!..not only that ..but every time a person would leave and tell all the others to run or reconsider before its too late ..the desk staff all laugh and call these customers names!..unbelievable..then the kicker...our car comes..its not even close to the car we order AND when we get in ..its filthy...we drive away ..just wanting to get out of this nightmare(its late at night and we have to drive an hour to our resort)...I look ...and the tank is barely over half full!..and there is NO WASHER FLUID...EMPTY!...seriously...NEVER EVER use economy car rental!

Do not book with this website or it will cost you way more than expected! We booked a car with them recently with unlimited mileage. This one an essential condition for us and it was CLEARLY stated on our booking voucher. However, when we went to the car dealer to get the car, we were told that our booking had been entered in their computer with limited mileage! We called Economybookings customer service to try to find a solution and were offered...to cancel our booking at no cost, and that was it! We had a wedding to go to and no backup plan. We had to rent the car with limited milegae and it cost us over twice as much as a result. We have hired a lawyer who is now in touch with them but they do not get back to him. The best of all: They send you your booking voucher via email and you have to click on a link to get it. We clicked on the link after the incident to print a new copy and they had changed the voucher, which now states limited mileage! Too bad for them, we had kept the copy of the original voucher, but this method shows how dishonest they are. STAY AWAY!
Economy booking is not a good company to use they billed me and when I got to the airport the company they build me with would not rent a car to me because I use a debit card if they build and said in my credit was bad and now I'm fighting trying to get a refund and they will not email me back

They charge money for nothing. On my case the car would have been the SAME price, if I would have rented it directly from sixt. The only advantage economybookings.com gives you, is a useless "voucher". Even the people from sixt didn't know, what it should be good for. So I paid 44€ for a "booking fee". My recommendation is to check the prices for the car...
