Wrong conditions car rental booking - full coverage not included

I am writing this complaint because I have had a very bad experience with economybookings.com and I request a reimbursement of the money I paid for nothing. Let me explain the situation:
I wanted to book a car for Mallorca, Spain, through the website. While making the reservation online, a Swiss number calls me and tells me to book, saying that an extra fee of 8euros per day should be added for the full insurance coverage. Following the advice, that is what I did. I booked the car, until now, no problem.
However, once I arrived at the counter of "Goldcar" at the airport (the rental car company), they tell me I have to pay an extra 256 euros for the coverage, which was supposedly included in the price I paid, as the person on the Swiss number told me. After having checked on the website, there was indeed the full insurance coverage+airport fees included in the price I paid. The lady of the rental car company said that I still had to pay the extra 256 euros no matter what.
When I tried to call the Swiss number again to talk about this issue, no one answers. I called minimum 10 times, Swiss, English whatever number I found online, without success. No one was answering anymore.
This is completely unacceptable, since when I was making the booking, directly a person from Economybookings.com called me to proceed with the booking.
Having no 256euros more to spend, I decided to cancel the booking. Which I found to be impossible as well. The payment I had made for the initial price (271euros) on Economybookings.com did not go through yet, this is why I emailed 3 times the company to tell them not to accept the payment.
I did not receive any answers to my emails, and the payment went through the next day...
At the end, I could not get the car, and I lost 271 euros. I am a student and I am not full of financial resources, I had to take a bus and lost more than 2 hours at the airport trying to solve this issue.
I request a refund of the 271 EUR, since I have not even got the car.

i would like to make a formal complaint regarding car rental in tbilisi georgia.

when i arrived in the country i didn't get the car i was promised. i've got a hyundai H1 instead of a VOLKSWAGEN TRANSPORTER, which is not at all similar. i was told that it is all they have.
10 minutes after i began driving the engine begane smoking and a real bad smell started.a representative arrived and checked the car. he said it was fine. when i asked for a different car they said it's all they have.
halfway through the drive i was called by a representative and informed that the road i was driving on is in bad condition and that i must go back. i've told them that i am unable to go back the way i was driving and that if it is needed i will stop the car and wait for them for assistance. i was told to go on driving. 20 km to my destination they have switched off my ignition. i called them- luckily for me i had reception, and they switched it back on. without explanation or appology. in the final day they asked to take the car prior to the end of the rental period for inspection.
i was notified that there are some repairs to be made and that i will have to pay a large bill (around 500 euro).
i have never been treated so poorly by a car rental agency.
i have no way to inspect the eleged damages on accepting a rental car (brakes and transmition) and i have no way to check it now (as the car seems to work fine).
i was not breefed on the condition of roads in the country or that any main roads are not to be driven on (as there are no road signs to worn me of road conditions).

Booked hire car only to be left stranded unable to contact the office, had to book another car and have been trying to get a refund for over a month only to get generic emails asking for irrelevant information then told sorry no you dont get your money back! Doggggs.

Trouble with Reservation
I had a reservation through economy booking from 3/29-3/31/2021, and I had called the customer service number multiple times and wasn't able to get in contact with employees. Therefore, I was never able to receive my refund of $25. I have also filled out the contact form online with economy booking and still, the case went no where. I wasn't able to get my rental and was never directed to a supervisor regarding this issue. I am going to post an online review stating my experience, and this will be my last time ever using economy booking. Thanks ?

As I was booking my car I noticed they don't break the charges down, they just Give you total which I find shady since I have a right to find out why charges In addition to my car rental was an extra $100. When the sales manager, Nick, responded to my email, he said the rental company where I pick the car up from would give it to me but Thrifty said it needed to come from Economy bookings which I told Nick but he never bothered to answer my email again. Last time I use Economy. I have a right to this information and your manager should do his job or find someone that can. Who do I need to speak with regarding this?

Now I see after the fact, why people are disappointed in their product and service. Booked for my wife and she tried to picke up, the would not give her the car at AVIS. I called and cancelled the Booking with Avis because they were closed already as I am in Germany. So, when I called, to work on this, they said, nothing they can do, contact support. Did that, no response. I will just do a Fraud on my card with them. These are shady ways of business especially if anything happens, flight delays etc. This is no way to do business.

car rental insurance in Mexico
My experience in Mexico: EconomyBookings sold me "full protection" insurance. However, they sent a rental voucher with no insurance, meaning that I would have to pay (quite a lot) for CDW insurance on pick-up. CDW is the minimum insurance you need in Mexico, because without it you risk jail if the police think you can't prove you have enough funds to pay for an accident, which you have to do *before* fault is established. My complaint is that the insurance package "full protection" is misleading, especially when it concerns Mexico. As it stands it is a rather large hidden cost for the consumer. I tried to address this with EconomyBookings but they are unwilling to acknowledge it.

Refund on cancellation
Our flight was canceled and we completely changed our mind to fly because we could not afford to buy more tickets, and we did not know exactly when the money would be returned for this flight. Therefore, we canceled the reservation and agree that part of the amount will be withheld, we have already called several times and the answer is always the same, wait, so how much longer to wait. And is there any hope at all?

Charged twice for gasoline
We are waiting for the second month, erroneous debiting of our funds from the card The first time we agree that we returned the car with an empty tank, although we received it with a full one, we had no time to refuel the car.

Hello, in September from the 17th to the 22nd we rented a car from our reservation B11144863, the rental place was in hong Kong. We booked a middle class, but upon arrival we received an economy class, you promised to deal with your partners and refund the difference, you called a week ago, but no one called us back. How long can we wait? Will we get our difference or is it a system error and we will lose our money?

Car rental refund
I had a reservation that I booked through EconomyBookings. The car rental company was Routes Car Rental. When I picked up the vehicle it had a large dent in the front (for which I have taken a video and picture while at the lot). I returned the car immediately after picking it up and told the front desk I wasn't comfortable driving the vehicle with such a large dent because I didn't want to be responsible incase the dent got larger (especially because I was planning to drive it on the highway). They told me since they had no other cars that they'd give me a refund. I got my refund from routes once I told them I was going to complain to my credit card company (charged me for a day rental though) but they didn't refund the initial deposit that I made on EconomyBookings.com as they said that I have to go directly through them. I have emailed them numerous times (the incident occured 3 months ago now) and I have received ZERO correspondence back from them.

I returned the form for a refund. She said it would be in my account 7/10 working days that was in November 2020. And I am still waiting for my refund. I contacted Economy Bookings on October 31st to rent a car. Pick up was to be at the Prince George Airport on November 01, 2020 at 9:)0 AM. I called the number provided on the voucher (250-963-7473) and left a message to advise them that I would pick up the car at noon instead of 9:00. When I arrived at the airport, I was advised, again by telephone, that no cars were available. I was also advised that no cars had been available since Wednesday and none would be available until the following Wednesday at the earliest. My car rental was cancelled and I assumed no charges would be filed against my credit card. When I received my Visa statement, I saw that Economy Bookings had posted $153.97 on November 2 against my visa, for a service not rendered. I have contacted National at the airport in Prince George. They cannot help me.
I have contacted Visa and they are looking into this. I trust this will be rectified as quickly as possible.

For all on social media you will know about the deceitful practices of EconomyBookings.com. I booked a vehicle at the request of my mother who I was going to visit in Florida. After a few days she decided that the rental car was unnecessary so I canceled the reservation. Then I received an email from EconomyBookings saying that I would receive a refund within 90 days. After 60 days I sent an email asking about the refund. When I didn't hear back I disputed the charge with my credit card company, Capital One. I have dealt with this credi card company for 25 years and they have always been honest and aboveboard. EconomyBookings told Capital One that they refunded the full amount back to my card. The refund has not showed up! I only use this one card for all of my travel expenses. There was no way to contact the car rental company as they do not answer their phone. This company not only lied to me but also to Capital One. As a mater of principle I will continually post on all social media how 3they ripped me off. Everyone will know and be careful not to do business with them.
