Beds.co.uk Wrong bed base delivery

I ordered for a mattress and a divan base on the 10/11/23. The correct mattress was sent with a smaller divan base. After sending an email and phone conversation with the agent. I was told that a replacement could be sent after a week which is ridiculous and my son end up sleeping uncomfortably.

After waiting for a week I was told to repack the bedding before it could be uplifted and that the new items will only be delivered to me without being setup. The ordering option was for delivery and set up, but because it is a replacement they will not set it up.

I felt so disappointed because it wasn’t my fault with the delivery.

Desired outcome: Apology won’t do any good for me but they should not allow this to happen again. Just for the sake of other customers.

Beds.co.uk Anti bedbug double memory foam mattress

I ordered a anti bedbug memory foam double mattress from beds.co.uk on 8th october and they delivered a stained mattress on 24th October that never expanded to full size so I had it sent back.

Today they collected it and delivered another mattress which was completely wrong. It was a cheap foam mattress king-size. I can't use it and it's taking up too much space.

I am so unhappy with two wrong items I want a refund and the company won't respond to me.

The images I have sent show a label that says 4 ft 6 mattress and the packaging says 5" so it's not the right mattress that I ordered. This is the second time they have sent a dodgy mattress.

Claimed loss: £123

Desired outcome: Money back.

Beds.co.uk Garden set

Let’s start by saying if I could give zero stars I would.

We where gifted a garden furniture set from my aunty as a wedding present a few weeks ago we Have recently got back of honeymoon, this morning we started assembling the garden furniture we are far from impressed the rattan is coming away from the legs, the bolts are not lining up correctly with each other which is causing the bolt to be tight and thread, the metal for two of the parts to the seats are bowed out in opposite directions which is causing the gaps to be huge but the drawings except you to use a m6 x 25mm bolt which to be quite honest is ridiculous.

When bringing this up with beds.co.uk their reply was

First of all, please accept our sincere apologies for this.

We are here to help resolve the matter so, in order to do so, we are willing to offer you a partial reimbursement of £10 to keep the items as they are. This is something we can arrange for you as a matter of urgency.

Or, we can arrange for replacement parts to be sent out to you or an exchange with an alternative set in our shop.

The key word being urgency there, I asked for an exchange for a new set and to pay extra so after picking a new set I explained to one of the many people I spoke to that we couldn’t get the bolts undone as it was threaded and could they collect the faulty set as it was due to this issue we where told to take it apart I explained that this would be to buy drill bits to take the bolts out that way and she confirmed that this was ok - I have a recording of that part of the call.

11th July was the day the faulty set would be collected and the new set would be delivered, by 10th if had no confirmation of a delivery slot so contacted them to be told someone would ring me back… no one rang me back so again I called them on the day of what should have been the delivery to chase it up.

I was then told that my new set had been delayed and that I could again go online pick another set and that would be delivered in 1-2 days

By now Iv had enough and have asked for a refund again told that someone would contact me in 24 hours

No one contacted me, I called them again to be told that they will call me today but to be aware that the 14 days for a refund is over

Gov.co.uk states - You must offer a full refund if an item is faulty, not as described or does not do what it’s supposed to.

So I am currently without my new set and still have the faulty set and no clue what is going on

Beds.co.uk Withholding payment and no bed received

Awful company, spent £378 on a bed, they saying there is no record of this and now stating I've made it up. I have emails and invoices for payment of an upholstered bed and also a delivery fee. They state they now can't find any details of this on their system even though I've sent them the invoices. So I don't have a bed and out of pocket for the amount. I have reported this to my bank and the ombudsman. Avoid at all costs this company are scammers.

Beds.co.uk Refund. Transparency on shipping cost for the whole of the UK.

I order a mattress from this company. As far as I was aware the delivery was fast and free. My total was the price of the bed. No shipping charged. I got a text from the shipping company to pick a delivery date. Went to their website. It didn't say pick a delivery date bit change a delivery date which I could not do because none were available. I phoned bed.co.uk to enquire about this issue and was told that I need to pay for delivery. Nowhere was delivery charges prominent. Their website said fast and free (no exception included) no shipping was added at checkout. I checked my consumer rights and this is regarded as misleading, which is illegal, customer services tried to gaslight me. This is not how a legitimate company behaves. Their activities are shandy. I did not recieve a reciept either.

Beds.co.uk Bed not as described

Bought an Elise ottoman bed received a frame bed, I clicked no to storage, but was called immediately after placing order (since been told this was delivery people) where I asked if the bed definitely lifted he put me on hold to go check and came back with yes it does. Been told since receiving this incorrect bed that I should pay an extra £100 for a bed that lifts. Even though the manager told me himself that and ottoman bed means a bed that lifts. There are no supporting pictures to show as a frame bed they only show ottoman bed. I wish to return this bed for a full refund as it is not what was ordered

I received my order with missing parts, I then got in contact and was told the parts with be sent to me 1st class. I waited two weeks for and now they are the wrong parts! This is ridiculous! My son has been sleeping on a mattress on the floor as we took down his old bed to fit the new one.

I bought a bed from this company it wasn’t in a good state the driver left all the packyon the stairs I slipped and ruptured the tube in my tummy it was bleeding bad managed so sort rang these people told them I wanted my money back to this day they won’t give it back they sent a driver to collect the bed he went upstairs barley spoke went outside and drove off they expected me who’s really I’ll and I.in a wheel chair to package the bed up and sort it I told them over and over I want my money back in the end they said they would upgrade everything I’ve had enough I really have I’m disabled I’ll and sleeping on the sofa it’s caused me so much upset I’m so distressed I had an accident on their packaging I gave them the benifits of dour and now I’m just drained I want my money back and I won’t ever use this company again please can you help . Beds.co.uk Mattress

I ordered a mattress from beds.co.uk on 28/1/2023 and they arranged a delivery on Tuesday 1/2/2023 and the did deliver it on that day and when my son unrapted it it was a very cheap and nasty mattress. not the one I ordered which cost me £279. this one look at about £100. I ordered a 3000 sprung orthopaedic firm mattress. and had 4 dirt marks on the side that we would be laying on

Beds.co.uk The worst bed company out there till this day.

Ordered on 26 November 2022

Arranged delivery for 10 December 2022

Nothing turns up on scheduled delivery date.

Rescheduled by beds.co.uk for 11 December 2022.

Due to rescheduled delivery did not setup until today (21 December 2022)

Upon closer inspection their divan bed is the worst product I have had delivered. They are using cheap cardboard to build this not even wood. Cheap nasty wheels for a £210 single bed frame. The "storage" drawers are made from cheap plastic which 100% break if you put stuff in them. Do NOT use this company. I believe they have fake reviews here and a few real reviews. Upon contacting the Beds.co.uk the Customer Service rep said there will be a £49 deduction on the return! what? even when it is not fit for purpose they will put this charge. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. They offered me a partial refund of £25 which is absolutely disgraceful. And when I tried to exercise their returns policy which says "In the very unlikely event, should you wish to return a item, We can arrange a collection for you via our Furniture delivery team at a cost of £49 which will be deducted from your refund, alternatively you may organise to return the item yourself."

I was told by cs rep i cannot return the item myself as stated by their returns policy. Extremely poor company, cant even follow their return policy. AVOID like the plague.

Beds.co.uk Bed bugs!!!

So I ordered a brand new mattress about a month ago. All of a sudden, I have bed bugs. I rang this morning and they completely denied the fact that it could have come from them. It's a brand new flat with a brand new bed and mattress and the bugs wouldn't have come from anywhere else as i've never had bed bugs in all the places i've lived. Do not buy from them - they're negligent and most of all, you'll get bitten!

Beds.co.uk No response to emails or calls for a bed I have paid for

I ordered a bed and mattress and paid upfront for them. I received a confirmation email and also one saying they would be delivered on 27th july.
I then received an email saying the bed I chose was not available and gave me a choice of others that were available for immediate dispatch, so chose one and replied to the email on 25th.
To date I have no further confirmation and emails sent have not been responded to. I also tried calling on a number of occasions but each time no one answers, even after hanging on for over 15 mins.

Beds.co.uk Damaged mattress

I purchased a bed from Beds.co.uk & on assembling the bed, the strap on the mattress broke. I took pictures & sent these to the company but had no reply.
I the emailed the company again using another of their email addresses but this was also ignored.
I have since requested a refund via PayPal & have been asked to return the item at my own cost, the company returns policy states they will collect it but they have further ignored two requests to arrange this.
I am angry & frustrated that all attempts to replace or return this damaged item have been ignored.

Beds.co.uk Money took from my account no furniture delivered

On Thursday the 28th of may 2020 i ordered an outdoor table 2 chairs and a sofa at a cost of £214.44.
This money was taken from my TSB account on Tuesday 2nd of June 2020
I received a text message from Beds.Co UK on Thursday 28th May at 19.10
requesting my choice of delivery date.
My request was made for Friday 5/6/2020
On Thursday 4/06/2020 i received a text message saying my delivery would arrive between 07.00-11.00 on 05/06/2020
No delivery was made so i contact the company that were supposed to deliver
The company is called Premier Deliveries
I was informed by them that my furniture was being delivered by UPS
As to date i have had no response from either company and still no furniture

Beds.co.uk false advertising & bad customer service

I ordered a bed and mattress together. The mattress was advertised as a "Memory Foam Spring Mattress", 20cm in height (at time of review, it is still advertised as this). The mattress I received had NO memory foam whatsoever and was at most 16cm in height. It was also quite possibly the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever sat upon.

I contacted customer services who were extremely unhelpful (and quite rude if I'm honest) who told me that - despite me sending photographic proof of it's incorrect height and lack of memory foam - it was the correct mattress.

It took me about 2 weeks to get my refund. This was after contacting Trading Standards, Citizens Advice, sending multiple emails to Beds.co.uk and creating a claim in Resolver.

I would never use this company again.

Beds.co.uk service

Delivery driver woke me up to ‘help' him and didn't even have my delivery!
This is the second time i've ordered beds.co.uk (out of desperation) and this is the second time they've messed up! First they lied and said they couldn't get through to the driver. Then they lied and said they couldn't get through to the courier company. They then lied and said the bed was damaged! Just ridiculous. And then when I asked for a refund the ‘manager' couldn't do it because there's a ‘team' that deals with refunds
Ridiculous. I urge you all, the good reviews are fake. Do not buy from this company!

Beds.co.uk delivery services of the bed and customer service

I would like to mention that if you have a flat please ask them on delivery policy. It was our first time ordering a bed from there. It was delivered outside our buildings and we were told to get the bed of the van with the matress because he will no deliver it further. When we asked why he replied in anger that he "works alone" and can not do it by himself. When we said that he needs to deliver the matress atleast to communal area, he chucked the matress and the bed outside our block and left while swearing and calling us names. I got in contact with company and they did not do anything about it, worst thing is was that they promised that the manager will call back. Some of our neighbours has helped to deliver it into our apartment but then we found out that the matress was too small. When we asked to get new matress they have stated that new one will be sent out however nothing arrived. I called back again and they completely forgot. When the matress arrived they placed it in communal area that time however told me that I need to bring the original matress down and did not even help me. I notified them that I had surgery after hernia and they completely did not care. Managed to swap it over with help of neighbours. This was the worst experience I have ever had with the company and I will never purchase anything from there again.

we received bed but it is too low in height and your item description is compeletly missing. during assembley it seems just on ground level, so why need bed ?

we challenge as their descriptions also not on advert to show ground clearance after assembley,

we have escalated issue and still waiting response. its half day gone now and no response so far.
