Dollar Tree Condition of store

On 8/12/2021 I visited the Dollar Tree at the Commons in Martinsburg, WV. The odor of mustiness and mold was so strong, I could not stay. I am very concerned about the fact that employees are breathing this unhealthy air daily and those who shop there are affected also. I hope you will take this seriously in finding the cause and a solution.

Thank you

Store #3833 Williamstown NJ, I put in for $50 cash back on 8/10/21 at 1:50 pm, cashier and manager indicated they could not access the safe. I was asked to put my name and number on a receipt and it would go into a folder until they opened the safe. I tried to call the district manager several times Dave More with no response. I call corporate several time...

My name is Estelle Fawler. I was reading the board and it came to my attention that inappropriate behavior by employees is quite prevelant within the establishments of this company. I am a retiree residing in Sun City. Our local store, situated on Rte 674, apparently finds behavior like this to be totally acceptable. Not only is drug use rampant among the...

The inside of the store is okay with the exception that it is dark because so many lights are off or burned out. The outside, the front of the store is trashy. The entrance area and parking area are littered with trash, cigarette butts and grass growing in the cracks at the front of the store. This has not been cleaned up since opening of the store. Simply, the store looks trashy and uninviting!

Dollar Tree There are never any products in our store

Every time I go to our local Dollar Tree the shelves are either empty or there is hardly anything on the shelves, it's the most pathetic store in our state, you can see boxes upon boxes stacked in the back, but they never make it to the shelves, how your company can let this go is beyond me. Something needs to be done

Desired outcome: To have the store stocked and stay stocked

To whom it may conern: Today I walked into the Dollar Tree on Athens Avenue Store 1221 and I almost walked right back out. The store was about as hot inside as it was outside. I don't think that employees should have to work in a place that's miserably hot. Customers should not have to be miserable while shopping. This should be taken care of asap. Thank you.

Dollar Tree Harassment

Hello, I'd to like to make a complaint/reports of harrasment and sexual harassment.

So I'll first give basic information. This incidents were both, during my first time working at Dollar Tree, and when I was unemployed (I quit temporarily and returned). I didn't report it to the manager, because the offender had quit Dollar Tree, before moving jobs. This was during the time I wasn't working. And I didn't think anyone would believe me. This was at a Dollar Tree, in Indiana. I don't feel safe reporting which Dollar Tree store. And I'd like to remain anonymous. For, personal and safety concerns/reasons.

The series of incidents started, when, I quit my job. Then, my coworker who commited these offenses, Micheal Prater, asked me for my number. Now, he did nothing before this, he was just a friendly old guy. There was nothing suspicious, or seemingly dangerous about him. So, knowing this I did. Now after that is where it started getting dangerous and scary. At first the text's were friendly conversations between coworkers. Examples: "Hi! How are you doing?", "I'm fine", "Nice weather, huh?", etc.
And didn't even text that much, either. Just sometimes.

Then one day, Mike just changed. He texts me one morning. He sends:

"Hey, I had a dream about you last night".

He never ever text anything like this before, so it was admittedly, odd. I text back, asking for more clarity.

The reply reads:

"That we were loving and very happy😍"

Now, me knowing that the wording could mean multiple things, that, and I didn't want to jump to conclusions. Such as, that it was creepy or dangerous. So, I told him I didn't feel that way about him, and if we could just be friendly ex-coworkers that'd be great.

Then, Mike kept bugging me and getting too personal, like asking where I live, trying to get me to go out with him, some time. And he kept becoming obsessive and stalkerish. It got so bad, I told a trustworthy family member about it, and she addmiited that this is getting really bad, and I should remove contact with him. So, I did, because I didn't know what else, to do.

Then about a month later, I go into the dollar tree, to buy my grandmother some groceries, because she can't physically move well, to do the shopping herself. Mike was there. He was in the cash register line, waiting to be checked out, when I entered the store.
I went into one of the shopling aisles, to shop and avoid him. I'm busy trying to look for the items, when Mike sneaks up behind me. He was breathing heavily and panting, and spoke in a voice he never spoke in before. Then, I realize he wasn't just talking he was making sounds of arousal whilst talking. I was very scared, and wanted to leave the aisle. To get away from him.
He got in my personal space, and blocked to where I couldn't get past him. This was at then end of the aisle, to where I need to get out. And I couldn't turn around, because there were boxes blocking my way. I was trapped, with a shopping cart. In a a shopping aisle, with no one else around to help me. Trapped by a clearly horny ex-coworker, who was clearly dangerous at that moment.

Whilst blocking my space, he basically asked and demanded to know, why I was ignoring his texts. I lied, about blocking him from my phone, because he was dangerous right now. So I said my phone broke. He then, still did not budge. Then he's asks

"What's your new number. I missed you very much~".

He started to get into my personal space, whilst saying that. I told him I don't remember. Thankfully, he got caught off guard with my answer and started, to back up. Giving me just enough space, to push past him. I immeadiately took my chances and booked it to the next aisle. He kept trying to follow me, in the store. He kept bugging me about my phone number, and kept trying to get into my personal space. Thankfully, at one point he left me alone a bit to talk to the manager and other employees giving me enough time to recover from the scary incident. That, and I made up an excuse to give me his, number so I could text him first. I clearly wasn't going to, and used that as a way to get him away from me, get my grandma's groceries, and leave before something else happens. The first two steps worked. The last one, failed. Right when I was going to leave, the first few aisles, to get to the cash register. Mike shows up, again.

This incident that I'm about to mention, was so bad I had nightmares, and was traumatized.

He gets into my space and is making sexual sounds again. He was too, close. He was breathing in my face. I tried to lean away, from him. Then whilst he was mumbling about texting me and trying to talk to me, I caught him looking at my body. Specifically, my boobs and my legs.

I was in a bad situation, and alarms, kept going off in my head. Then, when he tried to give me the slip of paper, with his phone number. I caught sight of his other hand. Trying to grab, the right side of my waist. I backed up before he could grab me. But, then he grabbed my left hand, roughly. He left red marks, and a small bruise. I confirmed, after this incident.

He then starts to massage and grope my hand, and kept making sounds of arousal. I couldn't pull my hand away. I was stuck and being touched sexually, against my will. And what worse, he was getting off on doing this. I couldn't scream. I couldn't fight. I was stuck, getting molested in a dollar store. Why was this happening to me? Did I desrve this? Why was I so stupid? Why couldn't I see any warning signs? After he was done, he took that piece of paper, and put into the same hand. All he has to say is:

"It was nice to see you again".

I hurried to the cash cash register, and got my purchases checked out. I didn't say anything to my coworkers, boss, or managers about this. There's no way they'd believe me. All they know he was just a nice old guy. I believed that, too. If someone else warned me about him, before this happened. I might not even had beleived them, too. I was such a fool. Maybe I deserved this. They say good people die young. Maybe, it's because we give chances, too easily.

I told my grandmother in the car, what happened (while she was driving home). She was disturbed, herself and saw how distraught, I was. We also, told, another family member. This was a few days, after this day.

After that I stopped coming tp Dollar Tree, for about a few months. Eventually, I'd only go because my grandmother had stuff she 'had to have', from the Dollar Tree. And I'd only shop for her, if Mike wasn't there. Sadly, one time he was, and we didn't know it. So, I had a run in with him. He tried to approach me again. Making sounds of arousal. But I snapped him, shouting

"What, Mike?!"

Between being on my period, the pain and grief he had been causing me, and the fact he legally molested me; I was not up for anymore of his "Shiet".

He left me alone, the rest of the time, I was shopping.

Eventually, about another month goes by, and I find out from one of my family members, who I shared these incidents with, that Mike had started working at another brand of dollar store. That's I decided to reapply, after re-confirming Mike left his job from the Dollar Tree.

However, Mike, found out I am working at Dollar Tree, again. He is starting his behaviour, again. I'm honestl, am terrified. Especially, since he's planning on working at the Dollar Tree, again. Hence, why I'm hoping this report, will help prevent him from doing these thing to any person, again.
Please, don't let him go near me. He is dangerous!

-Sincerely, anon.

Desired outcome: I hope that he will be forbidden, from working from same worplace as me . I also, suggest doing a background check. To make sure incidents like these, aren't repeated offenses.

Dollar Tree Customer service

I have been followed in the store. I have been accused of being homeless and stealing. I have had my cash checked, under 20 dollars. Over charged a buck or two and was told it was not a big deal. Today, the cash spoke to everyone walking in expect me. I bought glass vases and he did not wrap them up at all. When I spoke to the manager on duty she had smirk on her face and did not care. I brought in my own bag, I get the Covid policy the cashiers are not consistence.

Dollar Tree Cutting hours but hiring more associates

My daughter is Autistic and works at the Norfolk Parkway location in Melbourne, FL. The manager keeps putting her on the schedule then calling her and telling her hours are being cut and not to come in. When she talks to coworkers they say that the manager is hiring more people due to being busy. How does that make sense? I hope it is not due to my daughters disability. I feel that they are either taking advantage of my daughter or just playing games. It isn't right either way.

Desired outcome: Investigate why this is happening

Continuous harassment, Assistant manager befriends cashiers and gets them to watch me and reports my every move to her via her cell phone when they leave work. She creates narratives like I am lazy, don't do my work, always on break etc. She tells them that the Store manager wants them to report it to her. Store manager denies this information. Dollar Tree Lack of handicapped accessibility.

I was in our local Dollar Tree store twice last week. Both times, I made sizable purchases. Both times, I was accompanied only by my son, who has Down Syndrome, and both times I had to leave my purchases, unguarded, at tge entrance of the store, in order to go get the car. I was told that carts are not permitted to be taken out of the store. The second of my two trips, I saw a man, who was both elderly and handicapped, struggling to get out of the store with his purchases. Th st same day, I also witnessed an elderly woman also struggling to get to her car, purchases in hand. When people make sizeable purchases in this store, they should have the right to know that they can get those things safely to their vehicles. I called Corporate last week, left a detailed message on voicemail, and to date, have heard nothing back.

Desired outcome: Get more carts in this store and allow people to take the carts to their cars.

Dollar Tree Rude

Saturday July 24, 2021 at approximately 9:30 A.M.
Purchased cold medicine. I told the cashier That I don't need a bag. I (did) say please, though I may not have seemed pleased, I was not rude or mean.
She slapped the credit card machine around to face herself and pressed buttons herself.
I told her that she may want to watch her temper.
She redirects that statement to me.
I explained that I merely asked to have no bag.
She referred to other times when my attitude is bad.
My attitude has nothing to do with them.
I believe she was referring to last year when I protested that the truck driver/ delivery man was not wearing a mask after the manager told me to put mine on, and also there was a customer behind me that agreed and also was not wearing a mask.
Then your security team escorted me out without even trying to be unbiased.
He saw everything that happened.
I don't appreciate the fact that your employees can pick and choose whom they will treat as they wish.
I believe that this store in Hobbs, M.M. Should be policed/governed just a little bit closer. They are getting away with rude behavior with whom they may disapprove.
If they wish me to stay away I would be willing to do so.
However they should be watched more closely, and security should be unbiased.
That cashier is risking breaking equipment.
Thank you:
Martin Losoya.
Hobbs, N.M. 88240

Desired outcome: Please call, text, or email.

We've been going there once a week for years, now they have the public bathrooms PADLOCKED, and every time we ask about them being fixed, they are hateful, and act as if we're out of line. We have to drive from out of town to get there, and sometimes we would need the restroom, if only just to wash our hands. Many of the staff are very hateful and arrogant...

I put an empty can in the garbage inside dollar tree and right away the cashier Tondra became confrontational with me about it. All she had to do is tell me not to throw it out inside the store and I gladly would listen. Someone asked her where an item was while it was my turn and she walked slowly away to show her where the item was, she also took her time...

Dollar Tree Belligerent Store Manager #8264 - McKinney, TX 75071

Upon finalizing my check-out at the Store register, I did not see the amount due on the transaction screen. I informed the woman processing my transaction that I didn't see the amount due.

"Sharadon"...'that's because I've already completed the transacation'

Me: ...'is there any way I can see what I'm been charged'?

INDIDENT: 7:01pm (7/6/21), Tuesday

Sharadon (who is behind the Store counter) reaches -- angrily -- spins and shoves the large register "monitor" brazenly towards me! ...

...the monitor hits the -- pandemic plexi-glass -- then violently swings towards my face !...

I demanded to speak to the Store Manager, she says 'I'm the Manager'.

She then with a transparent attitude said her name is 'Sharadon'

I then told her ' why aren't you wearing any type of identifiable name tag that you're the Store Manager'?

I then told her 'I didn't appreciate what she did' and I asked for the Corporate office number and Customer Complaint number. She says 'she didn't know it or the Customer Complaint number.

On 7/7/21, after this upsetting incident with Dollar Tree's -- belligerent -- employee, I searched the internet and found the Company's top executive (Michael Witynski, President & Chief Operating Officier)

I emailed Mr. Witynski 7/7/21 at 1:43pm
[[protected]@dollartree.com], nor could I reach anyone through Dollar Tree's Customer Service number [protected].

No response todate from President Witynski.

Desired outcome: Disciplinary Action of Employee's Behavior

This is the absolute worst Dollar Tree Store I have ever seen with rubbish, dirt, boxes, food remnants on the floor. The shelve are in total disarray. Today July 14, 2021 at store #1185 there was a lone employee filling the frozen food cases. While 3 employees were in the front talking about trying for a job at Wal-Mart. They did nothing. I will take pictures and send later.
