Dollar Tree Dog Treats

THEN:

I used to like shopping there knowing everything was a buck or less. Pick, pick, pick > $, $, $ > Done - Easy & even fun.

NOW:

$1.25 for dog treats that still sell for 99¢ EVERYWHERE else!

I mentioned this quandary to the clerk and was told how you have to be savvy when shopping now.

At the Dollar Tree, what a joke. Don’t except them to be around much longer. Did going public ruin a good thing? I don’t know but I’d dump that stock if I had any.

Dollar Tree Customer service call center complaint

04/4/22-10:56 am Order #: EC444277475

I called to inquire about an online purchase that was made on 3/22/2022.

I spoke with Teresa the call center agent who informed me that she needed to put in a request to find out why UPS orders were being held. I inquired about the time frame it would take for me to find out how long it would take for me to hear back from the escalations department as the order I am waiting for is already delayed from the time frame in which it was supposed to be delivered. I was told this was all she knew. At that moment I requested to speak to a supervisor because I wanted to find out if they knew the answer to how long it would take for the escalations department to respond to an issue similar to mine. I am a business owner I made this purchase because I was not able to find these items in my local store. I placed the order with hopes they would arrive at me by April 8th which is when the event date. I was told by the agent that the information she provided to me would be the same information the supervisor would be able to provide. After that, I proceeded to explain to the rep. the reason for my request in which at this time I was cut off and spoken over. The rep then stated aloud "I think I hung up on her" Not sure if she was speaking to her peer. But at this moment I replied I'm sorry it appears you didn't and used an expletive word. The rep stated that if used any more words toward me I will disconnect the call. From there the call went silent and after stating hello several times I did not get a response from the rep. 2 mins later she comes back on to state that she issued a refund and money would be placed on my card. On another phone, I was calling the customer service line again because I wanted to speak with a supervisor to find out the answer to my question which i was advised by Supervisor Richard that it could take 72 hours before escalations would respond. With that being said I would need to probably go forth with the refund due to the timeline I was working with.

Desired outcome: I think this is a learning experience for the agent in which I believe knowing and providing a timeframe in which follow-up time from the escalations department would have been the appropriate response

Dollar Tree Women who identified herself as the manager at approximately 11:20 A. M. on 4-4-22

My daughter and I went to your store in Elverson P.A. at 220 Crossings Blvd. which I walked in the store with my own bottle of Propel drink.

Upon checking out at approximately 11:20 A.M. on 4-4-22

I put everything on the counter to pay including a bag of Pretzel Crisps however not my bottle of Propel which I walked into the store with.

She ( the manager ) question my bottle of Propel which I told her twice that it was mine which I walked into the store with.

She then rang up my purchase which included the pretzels, balloons and several birthday related items for my other daughters birthday which happens to be today.

Open leaving the store I went directly to my car and opened the bag to have some pretzels. They weren’t in the bag so we looked at the receipt and saw we were charged for them and they weren’t in the bag so I sent my daughter back in the store thinking they were left with the cashier who identified herself as the manager. The manager flatly denied having the pretzels.

Obviously this manager kept the pretzels because she thought that I stole the Propel. Your manager made a wrong assumption and she stole from me thinking she would make it even.

I questioned her and she denied everything. I’m not a stealer and I’m a retired law enforcement officer who has the utmost respect for the law.

I don’t care about the $1.25 that your manager stole from me because this is about principal and your manager assumed wrong and in doing so she stole from me.

In complete discussed I through my receipt on the floor and exited the store before I really lost my temper.

I was wronged today and your managers actions are unexceptionable and if you have cameras recording this store please look at them and you will see what I’ve said is completely true and accurate.

Desired outcome: manager fired or at the very least reprimanded.My $1.25 returned or a free bag of pretzels that I paid for. However if that’s a problem as stated I don’t really care about the money or pretzels.

Dollar Tree Wronful Termination/Misunderstanding

First off I had been an associate since 2018-03/2022. I was former ASM at Dollar tree @store #07190. I worked the closing shift an let me tell you I never dealt with someone wanting written off trashed food. I tried to stop the incident as best as I could and felt I did that by buying her some items from the store to persuade and stop her from thinking an taking them from the trash. I specifically told her they were marked out an trashed. I held them up and reminded her ok these need to be taken out with the other trash. When she said she was taking them whether she was joking or not I told her no don't talk like that you don't need to bcuz I will buy you whatever you need, there's no need for that. I proceeded with finishing up to close the store an just before I exited the store I did bag check an told her ok you just got what I bought you right? She replied yes I peeked in the bag and only seen the items I bought an therefore thought ok everything is ok an were good to go home and left for the day. I showed up for my shift the next day around 4 pm, an everything started happening of the gal I worked with the night before get called into office. I overheard something about cookies an immediately told my manager oh my gosh she must've took those damn cookies from last night. I told my manager I bought her stuff last night so she wouldn't resort to taking them. Well imagine how I felt finding out after all i did was try to help and diffuse the situation. I feel she sabotaged my job! I had no idea she went thru with taking them, on top of that I get sent home an I get terminated. How is this ok with dollar tree? I've been a loyal dedicated employee, I didn't do anything wrong but try to help the person to not make a bad decision.

Desired outcome: I'd like my termination overturned an get my job reinstated. I don't expect an apology an truly believe there's just a misunderstanding. I just wish she never took them an had me terminated on her behalf.

Dollar Tree Change the sign name

I am addressing that your stores are advertising a dollar tree. Now you hike everything to $1.25 for each item.

Yes we had supply chains issue , covid restrictions, your products are smaller and less and your adversity for a dollar.

Change all your signs

Its against regulations with FTC to advertise for one price and charge another.

Dollar Tree Unshoppable store Stroudsburg, PA

The store had 4 aisles completely blocked with roll carts from end to end. you could not even look down the aisle let along shop any of them.

The shevles were empty.

Saturday 3/26/22. One employee working who obviously complained about he company. Also, the outside of the store is TRASHED! So gross for our local community. We all wish you never built this store... what an eye sore!

Dollar Tree starting employment

On 3/19/22 I was hired as a store associate in Rock Springs, Wy. Since then I have been getting the run around as I am needing to complete such paperwork as the person that supposeably hired me does not have time to be able to help me complete such paperwork on the computer as I need a job badly and right away. Her name is Rhonda as no one else seems to know how to get into the computer to help me at all as I am struggling financially living paycheck to paycheck and being able to pay my bills

I know that Dollar Tree has increased their price from $1 to $1.25 as of Feb 21, 2022; however, they have yet to change the decals in the windows. They still show $1. So the store advertises that everything is $1, yet when you go inside, everything is now $1.25. Let's get it together and stop with the false advertising. You need to update your window signs so that any newcomer is well aware of the pricing. Thanks

Dollar Tree Customer Service

03/21/22 at approximately 10:30AM.

I finished my shopping & went to the checkout. There was no one at the register & I did not see an employee anywhere. I waited a few minutes (I shouldnt have had to wait at all) & when no one came up I left my basket sitting at the register & walked out! This is not the first time this has happened.

This happened at the store in Cloverleaf Plaza in Van Buren, AR.

Desired outcome: I think an employee should always be at the register........I have seen them stocking, etc. & they come up when they see someone, but the customers should not have to wait!

Dollar Tree Never received ordered item order #ed396104937 moisture eliminators sk #160017

On 11/16/21 I ordered a case of Moisture Eliminators Sk #160017 for $39.56

One month went by so I went to the store #4735 to inquire on the order.

The manager told me she had not received it and to request for a refund since it did not come to her store.

On 1/24/22 I called Dollar tree customer service, Danielle and she told me that she would contact the corporate office to issue a refund in 2 days and email me that the refund was forthcoming.

No emails were ever sent and Two billing cycles have passed and no credit was every issued for the $39.56

Desired outcome: Please refund me the $39.56 since I never received my order

Dollar Tree Disrespectful attitude/behavior of Patricia & Yesenia to me, customer, in front of customers...

I asked Yesenia, cashier, about the prize for those flowers in a bucket, confirmed it was $1.25, NO matter it looked too cheap; then I was paying much more of that I calculated prior to pay... (as I always do!), Yesenia, the cashier was refusing to give me my $$ back, & forcing me just to get another products..., I requested for the Mgr/Sale Associate Patricia came, store 5421, 1617 SW 107 Ave, Miami, FL33165, ticket [protected] [protected], about 2:29pm, Patricia was so disrespectful to me in front of customers in line; She said about the price... is stupid to believe..., being so disrespetful to me, less than mediocre..., even laughed at me..., which is so UNtolerable, & still she return to me $24 instead of $24.08, so she stole me 8 cents..., on 2.25.22; which I told my family, who plans not to go to that store anymore, as welll as me...!?!?

Desired outcome: Correcting such disrespectful behavior of Yesenia & Patricia to a customer, in front of customers in line... NOT to happen again...!!

Dollar Tree All their products

The dollar tree billboards say dollar, the signs in the windows say a dollar, but they are charging $1.25, I was told they are now all that way, but I believe that they shouldn’t start charging the new price until they change their signs. Wouldn’t that be considered false advertising.

Dollar Tree Work schedule

I had a family emergency last week. Therefore I had to miss work. I informed my supervisor. She told me she would get someone to cover my shift until Friday. I came back only to find out I was taken off the schedule and was not given any hours to work. I am one of the best employees they have and this is the way I get treated. I have reached out to the manager but he has not answered me.

That's how things go with this company, good workers are shafter and the slack offs that steal from their team and do drugs in the parking lot are rewarded for being friends with the manager. Even tho the code of ethics clearly says no favoritism.

Dollar Tree Magic Power cleaner with bleach

Bought the magic power cleaner with bleach today 310/2022 at your store #671

3700 south 27th st Milwaukee Wi.

The cap was loose it wasn’t when I put it on the check out belt. When I took it out of the bag it got onto my shirt (black) and ruined it. The front of my shirt has bleach stains$20.00 shirt. Your checkers should always make sure the caps are tight before bagging.

Dollar Tree Bad attitude cashier...

The Dollar Tree at 13057 Thunderbird Rd, El Mirage, AZ has a very bad cashiers. Every time have visited this store in the past few months. There is always a cashier with a bad attitude. If this store needs to hire new cashiers with better attitudes. Otherwise I will make it known to everyone I know, not to shop at this store no longer...

Dollar Tree Employee loudly announced that I was buying a pregnancy test

I visited the dollar tree in Madison, Ga store #4720 on 3-3-2022, to pickup a few travel items. One of the items in my basket was a pregnancy test. I took the basket up to the only open register and the employee immediately started complaining about how long he had been there and what time he had gotten to work. Then, looked down and saw what he was scanning and loudly asked “pregnancy tests?!?” I was so shocked and I said “I don’t think you’re supposed to say that…” then he proceeds to say that it was okay because there weren’t many people in the store and that no one comes in anymore since they raised their prices. I live in a small town and word can travel very fast, this was humiliating.
