Dollar Tree Greeting Cards

On 11/21 at 10:03 at store #3093, I purchased several items including 5 holiday cards. The section listed the cards as 2 for $1.00 but when I checked out I was charged $1.00 each. I questioned the transaction and was told the supplier put the cards (there were many) in that section and I should turn the card over to review the back.

I feel this was certainly misleading and cost customers additional expense in this time when prices of everything has increased. Is Dollar Tree trying to defraud its customers?

Desired outcome: I would like an apology, see the changes in the store and reimbursement $1.50 plus tax. Thank you.

Dollar Tree Rude and verbally abusive assistant manager

My wife has been using the Dollar Tree in Big Bear Lake, Calif. for several years.

On 11/03/22 at about noon, my wife asked the assistant manager, Erin, to please call up a second checker because of the long line, the assistant manger then became verbally abusive and gave my wife a 'chewing out' so my wife completed her purchase and left.

On 11/06/22 My wife returned to Dollar Tree to make some new purchases and to return a box of cookies that were bad, and like before there was only one checker on duty working, this time my wife said nothing but a man also waiting in line asked for a second checker be called up front to help. The assistant manager then told him off and when my wife asked about retuning the box of bad cookies she was told by the assistant manager that she could not return them and told my wife to leave the store. The man then began to argue with the assistant manger. The assistant manager then threatened to call the police to have them removed from the store.

At that point my wife and two or three other left. [protected]@live.com

Desired outcome: I don't want to have anyone fired, but the assistant manager is in need of retraining.

Dollar Tree Employee Tom

I would like to talk to the district manager of store 7275 in Leesburg Fl. Tonight there was another issue with your employee named Tom that was my final straw of ever stepping foot in their again... This employee Tom feels he must have a social hour with each and every customer talking about this and that and he stops ringing items up while he is talking causing everyone in line to have to wait 2 to 3 times what it would have taken them to cash out. Tonight was no different he started a conversation with the lady in front of me about frivolous things and even as she was 1/2 way to the front door totally ignoring me who was next to be cashed out and then after she left another employee came over and started looking for something off the side of his register and he (still ignoring me) started talking to her and then started looking under the counter with her. Well now I have been waiting atleast 4 minutes being totally ignored and I spoke up asking him if he is going to wait on me and he came with "I am getting to you" As a retail store owner myself I found this to be totally un acceptable and I told him I no longer wanted anything from that store that I would go to your competitor Dollar General across the street (I did go there) Before I left I asked for the district mangers office number as I was going to complain and he refused to give it... Managers here have "favorites" they give them anything they want! Employee asked for month off she gets it, another employee asked for day off just to watch football, manager gave it to them. If your not considered "favorite" then you get disrespected, belittled, mocked cussed at by managers! These managers treat you like an enemy with hate! They will not...

Dollar Tree Employee - cashier

At approx 4:00pm on 11/11/2022 I was in the Dollar Tree on Tioque Avenue, Coventry RI 02816. I was with my sister who is a high functioning adult with a learning disability. While cashing out, in the most clear upbeat friendly voice, she said to the cashier (his name tag said KALAB) "Hello, how are you/", he never even picked up his head or looked in her direction. I said loudly to my sister, he just didn't hear you. She stood closer and very nicely said again..."Hello, how are you?"... still nothing from the cashier. So, I asked him, Did you not hear her? Kalab did not answer me or even look at me. I said hellooo?... He replied to me that "I don't like to talk". I found that to be very rude and disrespectful.

I am not exaggerating, when I tell you that my sister was very upset when we left. She kept asking what she did wrong? I tried to explain to her that she did not do anything wrong, it was him... but she came home and told her grandmother what happened and when telling her, she cried, she thinks she said something wrong.

I truly hope that this situation is addressed.

Thank you for your time...

Desired outcome: I would hope this employee would at least be spoken to and offered training in basic Customer Service.

Dollar Tree Foul language use of drugs talking about the use of drugs

I was in the dollar tree, and a worker was talking about doing drugs with the customers and telling another co-worker they were talking about with other customers around also. She did drugs in the store from a customer or customers. To be more specific she was smoking illegal substances from customers I called to say something about it and nothing has been done about it I was told it would be told to corporate but I feel like they have done nothing I thought about reporting it to the police but I wanted to go to dollar tree itself cause doing drugs in the store off customers with other customers around or in the store and then also talking about drugs while everyone shops.

Desired outcome: I want that person to be fired. It made me uncomfortable, and it seemed like it made many people uncomfortable. It probably shows her doing drugs on camera if they have cameras from customers.

Dollar Tree Service by employee

I filed this complaint by phone & by email with no results. This employee ruined my day with her behavior and then no response back is equally as disturbing.

I hear all of the time people making comments that people that work in the service industry needed to be treated better but in this instance it was the customer who was treated unfairly.

Here is my original complaint

I had an employee at check out that was not only rude but threw the receipt. She was not able to put a gift card through for $20.00 and was agitated when I simply said " if it is an issue then don't worry about it. I'll get it later".

She in return said "do you want it or not" and I said "if you can get it to work" then sure she said " go to lane 3 she can help you". I said I'll just get it later snd then she threw the receipt on the merchandise that I did purchase

. She does not need to be at a cash register with her demeanor. She needs to learn to be civil even if she hates her job or had a bad day. Not acceptable even if you are short on employees.

I will never go back to this store again ever!

Desired outcome: This needs to be addressed to the employee that what she did was not acceptable you do not talk to customers or throw receipts at them because you're having a bad day. Retraining if there is any and don't ignore complaints.

This company has managers who steal from the safe deposit, store manager refuses to have closer follow her to bank, technically she is secretly stealing money! Then why not do your job properly store manager? Dollar Tree Wrongful termination

Describe the Incident

On September 26,2002, I was suspended for being accused of theft.I purchase 2 loaf of bread,1 pkg chicken salad and 13 Oreo cookies.I was accused of not paying for everything and the cashier Zorreunna Burnett not ringing up everything.I give the cashier a $20 dollar bill ..she said my total was $18.91,she give me a $1.09 back.On the September 26,2022 the DM came to the store #00543 and Keith Jackson was on the phone.Ms.Sanderson show me the video.The video shows Zorreunna didn't ring up everything and Ms.Sanderson state I didn't pay with a $20 it was only $5 and since I was the manager on duty.I should make more attention or I told Zorreunna not to ring up everything..so I got suspended and probably terminated..I try to explain,I just got a text from sister state my nephew had passed, my mind was all over the place..I am not trying make no excuses but I being working for dollar tree and I never being wrote up, always loyal to my job.I never anything like this before..On September 20, I work 4 pm to 9:30 pm, I count the store safe it was only $570 it was $5 short and all 3 of the tills was correct.When I pull the cashier till and she count it down to $75 and I noticed that there wasn't any five in her drawer she only changes and ones and a 20 dollar bill so I pull the 20 out and put some fives in and then I put the till in the safe and did my deposit.The next morning I came in my shift 8:30 to 4 , myself and Ms Brenda Womack (cashier)count the safe and tills..one of the tills was over almost $24.so I take the money out so that made the store safe $594.I thought that my deposit was short,so I called the bank it was correct.I called or texted my store manager (Yolanda Mabin) and told about the money and told her I didn't understand why I am over almost $24 dollar.I was off on September 22,2022 but I came in to work the morning shift on September 23,2022 , It was still have $594 in the store safe and I left at 10:30 am cause I had to close that night cause the night manager was sick ..On September 24,2022 I work the morning shift 8:30 to 4:30 the store safe still have $594 in it and when the night manager ( Constance Somerville) came in she count the safe it was $594..I being accused of theft when the money was there alone..I being a loyal employee for dollar tree.

Dollar Tree Not receiving everything I pay for in Swansea,ma. And they won't answer the phone!

I purchased alot of stuff from the dollar tree in Swansea ma.

I got home and notice, the first time they just pick up the phone and hung it up. Then I tried again a few after that and they took the phone off the hook. I cannot believe that you run a store that way. Very unprofessional! This happen Saturday, October 28,2022. In Swansea, Massachusetts. [protected].

Dollar Tree Corporate lusts for money, protecting managers behaviors, profiting off employees death

The manager here wanted to have his own store so he had it in Inverted grove. He said he can't handle it too much work, and wanted to return to old position at old store he was manager at before inverted grove. DM has to find some other store manager to replace the manager who wanted position, decided too hard to do, District Manager finds store manager. Manager returns to old position at old store. Manager Andrew works for one month then gets 3 months off due to his [censored] pregnant, he missed 3 months of work (yes, [censored] his kid and family!) Poor baby now wants couple more days off because 3 long months of getting paid to [censored] and be [censored]ing lazy outside of work doing who knows what! Poor baby needs more days off and gets it because mother [censored]er Andrew is too soft to do any real work, just complain and talk [censored] about customers and employees then denies all once confronted like a [censored] does! Just likeFucking ducking Andrew [censored] did! Poor baby needs weeks off after 3 months plus one month of plotting to receive this much time off knowing he will get paid for missing 3 months off! Mother [censored] Andrew dright! [censored] corporate for [censored] Andrew taking full advantage of taking as much time off as possible knowing corperate, at least DM Rhonda Chavez will give the baby anything baby wants! Yes, poor baby cannot handle work, needs months off comes back immediately asks for more days off and receives those days off with pay! Poor baby Andrew [censored]ing [censored] [censored] [censored] you! [censored] your baby, hope ******** [censored]ing ****! Haha! [censored] you too!

This proves corporate does not care about employees just managers and making lots of devilish money!

Money root of all evil equals corporate pigs not caring when employees died, were harassed, were threatened, were racist managers, were attempted raping teen girls! Nope! Corporate money hungry greedy fat pigs ignore all employee concerns, and safety! Corporate lusts for money and protecting Dollar Tree image! Classic corporate [censored]! Go [censored] your dead mother! Then rape your own daughters, sisters and aunties, [censored] Andrew, Rhonda Chavez for not doing anything but licking clits!

Dollar Tree Dollar Tree Store, Long Beach Rd., Oceanside, NY

First, I want to say a word about our store in North Port, Fl. It’s EXCEPTIONALLY clean, neat, aisles free of boxes, friendly staff. We go about once a week & shelves are well stocked.

Upon visiting my hometown I heard stories about how messy the new Dollar Tree was on Long Beach Rd. In Oceanside, NY. After going there today, all the complaints were valid. Shelves empty, boxes in aisles, short staffed, one register open for over ten customers! I’m so shocked that corporate hasn’t been here & addressed all these issues. It’s a damn shame. No one wants to go in there cause rumors of a poorly-run store are all TRUE. And DIRTY! 👎👎👎👎👎

I’m sure you’ll never answer or see this, but your company has standards which are clearly not being followed. UNDERCOVER BOSS would have a field day in here.

Desired outcome: Whole store needs to be free of boxes in aisles & shelves full, merchandise displayed in a clean manner, sufficient cashiers, etc.

Dollar Tree Store is in total disarray!

This Dollar Tree in Edgewood, NM., used to be one of the best stores in the area! Every since it raised the prices and added the $3 and $5 areas and changed all the isles there is ALWAYS items in boxes on the floor in the way, items are falling off the shelves and if you try to look thru the items, even more fall off! The party, books and craft sections are the biggest mess, items are just crammed in and keep falling off the shelves/hooks! I used to shop at this store 1-2 times a week, but now I only go there once a month if I have to.

Desired outcome: Just clean up the mess/store!

Dollar Tree Store upkeep

The Dollartree located at Campcreek in Eastpoint Georgia is so nasty, the floors and doors are filthy. Boxes are everywhere with items to be stocked, but the shelves are always not stocked. This is an ongoing problem and something needs to be done! I have talked to the manager she states she is short on staff. If this location is not improved, soon. I am going to be forced to go to the mayor of Eastpoint Georgia because it is a reflection of his city.

Dollar Tree Service

When purchasing an item, the items were in the wrong spot thinking it was one price, but it was a total different price. Sales rep stated I don't care the price is $2 when clearly it said $1.25 over a king size Hershey Almond... everything was out of order. Communication between rep and customer(myself) was terrible and the rep had an attitude like we were interfering on what she had going on. There rep was at the end of the counter ignoring the fact that she had customers, but only concerned what food she ordered with another employee.

Desired outcome: I won't return

Dollar Tree mgt team

I am a frequent customer of the store in Macedon NY. Every time I seem to go there, the store mgr either is just standing around talking or outside smoking. More times then none I have been in line waiting while she is outside smoking! Today I was there when I over heard her talking about her in trouble with HR over her daughter working there (not an employee) and she wrote a three page letter to hr. She said she played the dead husband and father card to protect her butt, knowing her daughter has worked there many times before and hasnt been with her husband in over 20 years. DISGUSTING!

Dollar Tree Kiara manager

Kiara the manager who comes in after 2pm has tried to ban me and coworkers from the store for absolutely no reason. Told me I was not able to purchase my drinks. I do believe this women is racists because I am white and she is black. All my coworkers she has attempted to ban are also white, called the police on us and everything when we was doing nothing wrong, just simply trying to purchase my drinks. This women was getting loud, hollering, cussing us, calling us out of our names. This women needs fired

Dollar Tree Discrimination

ip have been a regular customer at this location for the past 8 years and have purchased hundreds of dollars at this store. Suddenly I was told that if I didn't put my backpack in a locker I would not be allowed to shop. So, i said, well then, you've just lost a customer.

eople who are on foot rely on backpacks to carry their wallet, umbrella and groceries, etc. Just because you carry a backpack does not mean you are going to steal something. How about those baby strollers? Lots of room for storing unpaid items in there but, they never tell the mothers to take the baby out of the stroller and park the stroller at the front.

i feel that this is complete discrimination against people who have no choice but to carry backpacks.
