Hi there. I tried to set up an appt to get my tires rotated on my 2009, 3500 dodge ram truck and was told by Randy at the service center that they were refusing to do any work on my truck until I replaced all the studs on my truck.. I asked him why this was happening considering when I spent over a 1000$ on the tires, you knew my studs were bad yet it did not stop you from taking my money and replacing the tires.. It's even on receipt that my studs were bad.. if they were so bad as to not be able to do work on my truck would it not seem prudent to tell me to fix the studs before you sold me the tires but alas for 1000$ I guess they could do the job. Now that I am trying to get what was assured to me at the time of purchase, tire rotations, tire repairs, etc. I'm totally out of luck! I tried talking to the GM Anita but she walked away when randy showed up so she could talk to her friend. I explained maybe you should listen to what is happening so that maybe she MIGHT know what was happening. She told me it's not a general manager's problem and to just deal with randy even though I asked to speak to her. I am totally upset that as long as I spend 1000$ Canadian tire will overlook problems but after that forget anything else being done! I hope you don't treat other customers like this?!
In addition, this was the second time I had to come into this Canadian tire to try and resolve this problem. On the 12th of November I spoke to Anita at the store and said she knew nothing about it and wouldn't do anything till she talked to randy on November 15th and then he would give me a call… I never received any call... Today she was now saying that Randy had been off for a few days even though 2 days prior she said he would be there. What kind of General manager do you have running this store?
as you can see on the receipt the studs were supposedly in horrible shape yet canadian tire still took 1000$ from me and did the job?

Au départ, Canadian Tire ont perdu les pneus que j'avais acheté la veille. J'ai dû y retourner le lendemain selon la recommandation d'un employé. Le lendemain, malgré l'entente verbale avec cet employé pour la pose de mes pneus d'hiver, les personnes sur place m'ont dit qu'ils ne pouvaient faire le travail et de revenir le lendemain. I am giving them zero star because the behaviour of the store manager was very rude. Today I went to Canadian Tire at Southdale. I picked Up one ice rink snow shovel.The price displayed on the item was $17.99. So I decided to buy that. I went to the cashier to buy that shovel.But when Cashier scanned the item it was $44.99. I told her that there was a sign of$17.99 on this item.Cashier called the manager, his name was Jason. He came and the first word he yelled, "l am not giving you this item for this price." Then he said, I put the item and there was 6inch gap between the item. But I know there was not. I understand he didn't want to give me the item. But the way how he was talking to me was rude. I feel, I am immigrant that's why he is talking to me like that. I don't care about the shovel.but the way how he talks, I feel embarrassed.
I am also sharing a story of an encounter with Jason, the manager of Canadian Tire.
I purchased a Christmas tree skirt from the 157 Vermillion Canadian Tire location on December 5th, 2019. Before purchasing the item, I asked the checker what the return policy was on the Christmas skirt. She responded that I had 90 days to return.
On February 1st, I attempted to return the Christmas tree skirt. I was told that as it was a Christmas item that the item needed to be returned by December 24th, 2019. I provided my account of the checker very clearly stating I had 90 days and that the receipt itself had no mention of exceptions for Christmas items.
At this point, the manager was brought in to discuss. After explaining again, the situation, the manager reiterated the same message. I repeated that it was in fact his employee and his business which had misinformed me about the return policy. The manager was unapologetic, unkind, and arrogant. I asked for his name as I would be contacting his superiors and he told me it was Jason. When I asked for a last name, he would not provide one.
I have never in my experience as a consumer felt as undervalued and bullied as during this encounter.
