Canadian Tire pneus achat et installation

Bonjour,
Au départ, Canadian Tire ont perdu les pneus que j'avais acheté la veille. J'ai dû y retourner le lendemain selon la recommandation d'un employé. Le lendemain, malgré l'entente verbale avec cet employé pour la pose de mes pneus d'hiver, les personnes sur place m'ont dit qu'ils ne pouvaient faire le travail et de revenir le lendemain. Le lendemain, j'ai constaté l'ajout d'une garantie prolongée sur ma facture sans mon autorisation.
En résumé, J'ai perdu plusieurs heures et j'ai dû me rendre sur place trois jour d'affilée. La facture en finale incluait des frais non consentis.

Canadian Tire store manager

I am giving them zero star because the behaviour of the store manager was very rude. Today I went to Canadian Tire at Southdale. I picked Up one ice rink snow shovel.The price displayed on the item was $17.99. So I decided to buy that. I went to the cashier to buy that shovel.But when Cashier scanned the item it was $44.99. I told her that there was a sign of$17.99 on this item.Cashier called the manager, his name was Jason. He came and the first word he yelled, "l am not giving you this item for this price." Then he said, I put the item and there was 6inch gap between the item. But I know there was not. I understand he didn't want to give me the item. But the way how he was talking to me was rude. I feel, I am immigrant that's why he is talking to me like that. I don't care about the shovel.but the way how he talks, I feel embarrassed.

I am also sharing a story of an encounter with Jason, the manager of Canadian Tire.

I purchased a Christmas tree skirt from the 157 Vermillion Canadian Tire location on December 5th, 2019. Before purchasing the item, I asked the checker what the return policy was on the Christmas skirt. She responded that I had 90 days to return.

On February 1st, I attempted to return the Christmas tree skirt. I was told that as it was a Christmas item that the item needed to be returned by December 24th, 2019. I provided my account of the checker very clearly stating I had 90 days and that the receipt itself had no mention of exceptions for Christmas items.

At this point, the manager was brought in to discuss. After explaining again, the situation, the manager reiterated the same message. I repeated that it was in fact his employee and his business which had misinformed me about the return policy. The manager was unapologetic, unkind, and arrogant. I asked for his name as I would be contacting his superiors and he told me it was Jason. When I asked for a last name, he would not provide one.

I have never in my experience as a consumer felt as undervalued and bullied as during this encounter.

Matt does not like the female workers, treats his employees like crap (me, for one. I have been there for almost five years, previous 11 years. He is sexist and racist. He swears too much. Seniority is of the lowest importance for him. Please FIRE him, he does not belong there. He shouldn't be a store manager if he treats his employees like crap. Good employees are quitting because of him.

Canadian Tire tires

Hi

I purchased following 4 tires for my truck from Canadian Tire Store in Grande Prairie, Alberta Canada. It was on Sunday 20th October 2019.

Before buying, I clearly asked the guy that tires must not be more than 2 year old. After installation when I checked my tire yesterday I was surprised that manufacturing date of 2 tire is 2017, and 2 is 2015.
I talk to multiple people in the store and they are saying that we will not take back the used tire.
I was simply cheated. Please tell me what to do with these old tires? I clearly asked for tires not more than 2 year old and you are selling me tire manufactured in 2015. If you don't have tires then you should clearly told me.
Now Canadian tire is neither returning the tire nor exchanging it.

Moreover, the behavior over the phone was very rude. The guy over the phone said to me " You are up to something". What does this mean? You guys cheated me and now instead of apologizing, you are putting blame on me.

I am really disappointed by this service and I need a solution for that.

Canadian Tire automotive center

On October 5th my son took his car into Canadian Tire store # 457 in Kanata to have an oil change and undercoating. We were told it would take several hours. After an hour they called trying to up sell us on a wheel alignment and some other services, this seems like a typical thing as I saw many others online say the exact same thing.
We declined. Another hour or so later they called to say it was ready. My son went to pick it up and when he did he found a large portion of the clear coat on his hood was missing! He immediately brought it to their attention and they responded saying they could not have caused it. They took pictures and he came home. It just so happened that he had pictures of his own from an hour before it was brought into the shop which clearly show that there is no damage. We sent them the pictures. They asked us to take additional pictures of the car from the same spot at the same angle in the same light a few days after the incident. I refused and said we would take the car to them to take their own pictures. They did not want that but I insisted. It was taken back and reluctantly a of couple additional pictures were taken by them.
They kept insisting that there was no evidence on their shop video to support that the damage was not already there or that anything they did caused it. They asked me to take the car to a paint shop that they were friendly with to have an "expert" evaluate whether they could have caused the damage. Of course the expert had excuses such as the hood had been painted before, news to us as we bought it second hand, and that the chemicals they use wouldn't cause the damage. In the mean time I had launched a complaint with Canadian Tire Corporate and got zero assistance there. The case manager just pushed me off to the store and said the store manager will deal with it. Now today, October 17, nearly 2 weeks later I called the store and was told that there is no conclusive proof that they caused the damage and that they are not responsible. I quote "the burden of proof is on you to prove that they caused the damage".
I am writing this to warn everyone to beware of this shop, look online at other reviewers and you will find a trail of other incidents where damage was done and they take no responsibility. Take many good pictures of your car before taking it in so you will have proof even if they wont accept it.
