Today I went shopping at Canadian tire in Sault Ste. Marie. I always loved shopping there I buy all my dog and cat stuff and my car stuff there. I am a disable person struggling with a bad leg. Today I never been so disappointed with the service in that store. It was not young kids people training. I kindly asked where was the salt gravel bags for the outside he couldnt help me. then he asked another guy where it was so he said go down to where sale shovels. So I hobble along in alot of pain and nothing. I see a lady working ask her she sent me down to seasonal and again nothing at this point I just grab my dog stuff. And went to the check out. I asked the check person if she new where the salt gravel was she told me I don't know. I left there and just baffle that not one person could help me. I had to sit in my car for 15 minutes and thought about how I was so disrespected from a few of your employees there was no line up. there was no reason for this. I was not rude but being extra patient. I was in allot of pain I barely could hold myself up, All wanted to do was buy things. But I will not promote any thing at Canadian Tire again. I have also been known to do koodos which I just name a couple of places Food Basic. Rexall Pharmacy. And they even take a minute to help me out. This I do not understand and so disappointed. I know allot of people and all someone had to do is call on their phone and asked. And seeing me struggling with a bad leg could have offer to grab me a couple of bags. It was obviously was in alot of pain I was asking for help. I was neglected or assist, Any ways I hope for the furture you can maybe teach you staff compassion and assistance and take time to help people. But it won't be me.
Canadian Tire - automotive service department
Very disappointed in the service recieved this weekend. I paid for two cars to store tires at this store last season. From this service the store gave me the wrong wheel lock. And gave no help in locating my correct wheel lock. This season, second chance, In order to change our tires for two cars, we booked two appointments with the department manager, no less! Our appointments were completely ignored and were told to come back on Sunday for a first come first serve basis. We arrived first in line. Both cars were put in the system at the same time. One car was serviced in 2 hours. The second car was ignored for the whole day. After two phone calls later our car will not be serviced because the tires were not picked up from the storage area. I am appalled that my car was ignored the whole day after being the second car in the system. How could such a failure in service happen in such a large corporation? Failure in management, failure in service, failure overall. I will not be keeping my business here and will be paying for better service.
