April 1st, 2022 about 11:00 AM. I have gone into this store before and used their washrooms today I went in had to use the washroom discovered they had it all blocked off with tires and other product, I asked to use it and how to get to it they told me I had to go back out and go through the Service door, I mean I had to go bad, and I was really scared I was going to pee my pants, I was embarrassed and very traumatized by this, they weren't very nice and not very helpful, who does that why in the hell would they block off the washrooms because they were not like that before, there was no sign or nothing stating where to go. I am not vey happy with this Store, and I will not be back in that store ever again, No compassion for anyone that is in need of something.

On sunday november 3rd my boyfriend went to your smythe street location for me to purchase a christmas tree that was advertised on your website for half price, it said there was 14 available in store for pick up.
When he arrived at the store the assistant manager working refused to get the christmas tree out because there were out back and either put the n something out back, or under something, that the employee didn't want to get out the tree. He then took my information so that they could contact me when they took them out before the sale ended.
Well I thought that was extremely unprofessional when my boyfriend returned home without my tree to tell me this. So I decided I would purchase the tree online on your website because it said it would be available for pick up the next day after 12pm.
There was still an abundance of the product left when I purchased the tree online.
The next day on november 4th, canadian tire then cancelled my online purchase claiming there was no trees left available in store. Which is clearly not true my boyfriend was there the day before an hour before closing.
I decided after the run around I received from your smythe street location to take my services else where. Not receiving a product because the employees don't want to get the product is absurd!
It's definitely bs that it's blocked off. Though it's been like this the last two years I've been going there. They also had a giant banner sign hanging with the bathroom location the last time I went and the staff was super helpful and nice! Sorry you had a bad experience though :(
