On 11/21/23 I needed an answer about my Jeep. I got the impression that it cost $5 to ask a question. I paid it with my card. I asked my ONE question and then cancelled my account right then so I would not be charged anything more.
But I still was charged. They charged me a $5 join fee and a $55 membership fee. So, for ONE question I was charged $60!
Trying to contact them is impossible. Their customer service chat is worthless. I typed in my concerns and all I received back was a canned response.
They really need to clarify exactly what the charges will be.

I needed help from a doctor for my stomach problem. I got asked to pay 2dollars for subscription before speaking with a doctor. Somehow I got charged with 73 dollars. I would like a refund of at least the subscription fee.
On the 7th of December I was installing a new Epson printer and I was having problems. I went to the EPSON web site to resolve the problem. I thought I was dealing with a EPSON technical support person that said if I payed a refundable dollar they could help me. So I used my credit card to pay the dollar. I was charged N my credit card the dollar, 55 dollars for a subscription I did not agree to and an additional 39.00 dollars I have no idea what it was for.. This was, in my opinion a complete fraud. I had no idea that I wasn't dealing with a valid EPSON technical support person. Please advise and see if I can't get a refund. Thank you.

I have been billed a monthly subscription for $66.00, which I never agreed to. I never received any assistance
On November 24th I contacted Just/answer and was asked to pay $2.00 to receive a callback, which I did. But I received a text message from a US doctor and I advised that I needed a Canadian doctor. I was told to open another window but I did not proceed any further and did not request any further assistance. I then received another text message regarding my subscription, which I did not approve and cancelled immediately. I was then billed on November 27th $66.00 for a monthly subscription. This is not fair and I need to be reimbursed for being wrongfully charged for a subscription I did not agree to and did not receive any assistance.

Membership canceled but they keep charging me.
I had to lock my credit card as they would not stop charging me their monthly fee (and still are trying every week). Unfortunately, I hadn't noticed the monthly charges sooner. I think they are a scam company as why would they continue to charge someone who hasn't used their service for a long time? SCAM! Won't stop trying to charge me? SCAM! Will they even answer this complaint? SCAM!

Tried to take £50 without my permission after the three day £5 trial period - obvioulsy it's in the fine print somewhere that you will be charged a membership after this period but it is not on the sign up page = fraud in the UK.
So try contacting them? You can't. Ther live chat just redirects you to sign in again and again. When you email them, it gives you one of those contact forms and when you try and fill it out, the live chat screen pops up again and onscures what you are trying to type / screenshot.
Luckily i have a good UK bank who blocked the transactions however i am told they try again to take payment via another company (fraud again)

Cell phone recover lost calendar
I was informed by JUST ANSWERS that for $1.00 I will be connected to an expert, I agreed and charged $1.00 to my PAY PALL account, which immediately inform me that a payment of $46.00 was send to JUST ANSWERS.

I texted this website to have advice regarding a failure I had with my fridge. They ask for a $2, which I agreed but then they asked for an additional $53 that I refused.
A couple of days after I see what my visa was charged with the $53 and I was just impossible to get customer service on the line to complaint about it. One month after I got a call from my bank asking if I just authorized this company to charge for a second time $53. My bank immediately blocked my card.
This company is a scam and they keep charging to your visa card. They are very unprofessional and thanks to my bank I was able to stop them to keep charging my credit card over and over.
I would like to get reimbursed from them the monies I did not approved.($53) as the second time it was my bank that was able to take care of it.
I would recommend anyone wanting to used them to be very careful.

I had a question for the website. For a therapist I approved a $5 charge, and when they tried to do a $50 call I refuse and said I was not I would not pay.

On 18th Sept 23 I contacted one of your advisors through your Chat link concerning a problem with our washing machine, there was option to talk over the phone for £16 which I declined. The suggested reset worked once then not again for which I agreed to pay £1, maybe foolishly by card.
Four days later whilst on holiday I found my card had been suspended and the card people said it was because of a unapproved request for £35 from you, I agreed that it should have been declined as I had given no authorisation for the payment.
I have just checked my statement and find that you have requested and been paid £35 on the 30th October; then looking back I have found a similar payment which I had missed on 30th September, just a week after it had been initially declined.
I shall be contacting my bank to find out why these payments were made after agreeing with them they should be declined.
My case is that at no time was I offered or agreed to a subscription service and I therefore request that the £70 taken be repaid into my card account and that my credit card details be removed from your system.

Yesterday morning the 14th of November 2023, I contacted JustAnswer to ask a question from a computer specialist to resolve an issue that I had with my husband's google account where Google had closed it down. It took up to hour before I was connected to someone. Shivarna was unable to assist even though he tried so after about an hour we agreed that it was unsolvable.
JustAnswer offered me a 3-day trial to "enjoy all the benefits of a membership plan. At the end of the trial, your membership will automatically continue on a pay-by-month plan so you don’t experience any interruption to your service." I was charged £5 for the initial fee and then £21.84 for a service that the Just Answer expert could not resolve.
I have used JustAnswer for help a while ago and was not charged an additional fee of £21.84. I accept that the company is a customer charged organisation but JustAnswer should not make a profit out of a service that they failed to provide.
I should have read the reviews before entering into this so called service contract. This was one "They refuse to refund your money, despite your dissatisfaction with the “answer.” Their “7-day free trial period” is a big scam! Good luck trying to navigate their website in an effort to cancel. This online business is the best example of an unethical, unscrupulous business which takes advantage of people. How sad that they are allowed to get away with this on the internet. "
This sums up my feelings too. On reflection I should have used PayPal but that alternative did not appear on the screen unless I am mistaken. At least that way I could have gone to the Resolution Centre and opened a case.

Just answer memberships and misleading prices
Back in Oct 9, I made a call. The website said I could pay and not be a member. I did not want to be a member but pay for the call from the vet. Needless to say the misleading information resulted in a $2 and a $42 and a $39.70 charge that day. I however did not notice this. I than was charged Nov 9 last night for a $42 membership that I had no idea about. Not to mention the information I received from that call was not even close to what was happening as the vet told me to prepare my dog was dying. Yet he was indeed not.
I called today to make sure no more charges and to get a refund from yesterday and find out what happened with these other charges and ended up speaking to a very rude and non professional customer service representative that told me too bad you cant get refunded and gave me a bunch of BS about the charges. $2 to get a membership but $42 on top so I wasted $2 to start with and calls are not included. And I didn't even know I was signing up for a membership but yet thought I was paying $39.70 only to speak to a vet.
