Fraud/Unauthorized Charged
I contacted them stating I have a pending charge on my card. They were able to locate the charge and another email associated with my card and name, but refused to refund my 60.00 and 1.00 charge, after I told them I didn't make any purchase with them.
The charge came through on 12/14 and I immediately called them.

I used Justanswer service only one time on 12/9/21 and was charged $39 for that sedrvice on my debit card. After three days on 12/12/21, I can see a $46 pending charge on my same debit account under the name of Justanswer*expert. When I contact thier customer service, the lady answered that it is a membership fee that I have never requested. She said the fee had been charged because I didn't cancel it. Who can cancel anything that he doesn't make? She said no refund is possible and rushed me to hang up the phone in order for her to handle next customers. She seemed to be very accustomed to this question.

Ok i called for an online veterinarian that could prescribe anti-fungal cream for my dog who gave me ring worm. They charged me $29.99 then i had to wait 3 hours for the dr to contact me just for her to tell me to physically take my dog to a veterinarian. Then after i got upset and said i qas ripped off she said justanswer.com would refund my money. They never even followed up on my complaint! This was 5 days ago and still not a peep from them!-
I also contacted the better business Euro and I'm about to contact a news crew about how they just take your money and leave you hanging they don't help you at all they don't refer you to anybody that can help you they don't do anything they just tell you they can't help you

My credit card was recently replaced with a new account number. I was trying to access my amazon prime videos without success and I clicked help with my remote. Then, I just followed the prompts answering all the questions related to my billing information and providing my new credit card information as well. In my mind, I was all the time communicating with amazon prime party. A technician chatted with me and resolved the problem (disconnect the tv from the power source for 5 minutes, connect it back and try again), then I was receiving emails from the technician asking me to rate him and I did it because he actually did a good job. The problem is that I never was aware that I would be charged $46.00, let alone a monthly membership. I thought that I was dealing with amazon prime which I have a membership and that was the problem with. Today I chatted with one of your representatives (Joseito or Jose) and he said that that was displayed on the same screen where my billing information was requested. That is absurd, I would have noticed it, there is no way I could see everything but the most important one when doing business. I feel that I was manipulated and I think that double-check that the customer understands that charges might be applied.

Unauthorized monthly payment on my credit card without my consent
I found this site for wanting to talk a vet regarding my dogs eye problem. They asked the credit card information first in order for me to talk to any vet online. The site is extremely deceitful. It didn't not make it clear they will charge $31 dollars monthly after the trial period. I didn't even know I was in the trial. I thought I would be charged once I talked to the vet. Then, I found out yesterday I have been charged for the service that I didn't know I have since September. I talked to them today. and the refused to refund me the money. It is out right quietly stealing from my credit card.

Shaddy membership charges
Hi - I inadvertently landed on the JustAnswer site via a pop-up window on another site where I was attempting to chat with support. How that happened is beyond me, but a pop-up was presented with JustAnswer's website support where I asked my question. I was asked for my paypal account for identity verification and told my paypal would be charged $1 and would be subsequently refunded. Red flag number 1!
But being in a hurry I proceeded only to receive an answer that linked back to the original sites support page. Not of any help. Red Flag number 2!
What happened next was entirely crooked. JustAnswer signed me up for a membership that charges $66 a month! I had no desire then, nor do I now, to pay for, or even be a member of JustAnswer. I cancelled the automatic payment and sent them a message via their contact us page requesting they ensure/confirm my membership was indeed cancelled and there were no active automatic payments scheduled. I also cancelled the automatic payment on Paypal. Additionally I requested my account be deleted and email removed from their records.
At this time the $1 charged to my Paypal account has not been refunded. I will be following up to get my $1 refunded on principal.
Watch out for these guys. Completely dodgy site.

Received a very quick response from JustAnswer support. They apologized and confirmed my membership was turned off 12/10/21 and there would be no no recurring membership charges. The $1 charge was also reversed.
They explained they are an online, paid third-party, question and answer service with "experts" that can answer Software questions.
Certainly can't complain about their support.
Paid for Consultation with an Online Vet
On Monday, November 15th, I found my Border Collie in the dining room crying - her back legs stopped working. I attempted to schedule an appointment ASAP with several local vets. Every vet called did not have an opening anytime that week.
I attempted a Google search to find out what might be going on with Cleo. That's when I stumbled across the JustAnswer site. It appeared as though a professional veterinarian was available online to answer questions and provide information. I asked my question in a chat session with the vet. The vet explained I needed to pay $1 for an answer. I agreed providing my debit card information.
Yesterday I was reviewing my last bank statement. I saw the $1 charge marked JoinFee - below that was a $29 charge from JustAnswer marked Expert. The vet never mentioned $29 during the chat session. I did not authorize that amount.
To make it right, I would like JustAnswer to refund the $29 and cancel my membership - to avoid any additional charges.
It happened to me. I just found the have been charging me monthly $31 monthly since September. I didn't even know I was signing up for membership! My dog had a little eye problem, I wanted to talk to a vet. They asked me for my credit card upfront and no one told me that I became a member and on the trial period. I talked the vet, and found out he would be charging me more than I wanted to pay for, and his answers was way more serious that I researched from online. I decided not to use his services. Then, just found out, vet justanwer has been stealing $31 from me last 4 months. They know that the amount is not so big, so they beg on no one would pay attention to it. This business is highway robbery without you knowing.

I logged into the JustAnswer site searching for an answer regarding a problem with my Gmail email. I was charged $1 and provided my debit card information. After waiting for over 30 min I asked for a refund three times before being transferred to an "expert" that was supposed to get into me computer. No expert connected to my computer for another $39. Customer Service disconnected me.
The "experts" are just folks wanting to make a buck and are not "experts" at all. JUSTANSWER IS A SCAM!

A remote generic control for an apple box
Do not use these people! They are unprofessional and not versed in a simple remote control for an apple box. I provided them videos from another remote (Phillips) THAT DOES WORK WITH THE APPLE BO X. Rafi that supposedly has 17 years of expertise just told me to go buy another apple remote. Even though i sent him 3 videos of a generic one working. Got frustrated with him saying see his answer above. That i went and got another apple remote and said ok just show me how to program this ape remote then. He just dumped me in the Q again and had i not shut the page down they would have charged me 5.00. Well i paid with papal and when i went ti my account they had charge me $46 on an auto renew. I screen shotted the charge and when i called to cancel and te them to Remove the charge the woman was condescending and rude. She said we NEVER CHARGED $46 we only charged you $5. No they nrver charged me the $5 they charged me $46. As ter about 7 mins of arguing with her she had me refresh my page. It had been changed from $46 to the $5. She then proceeded to tell me i was never charged $46. This company prays on people hoping that they will not check their account quickly and so that I'm not done that they might have gotten away with stealing $46 for me. All i can say is RUN RUN RUN
These people are laughing at you the entire time! They must be paying for the reviews that they have. Think about it the do this to 10, 000 a day. Thats $50, 000 a day for the people that catch them and get them to reverse the $46 that expiration date was Only 6 days away and they would have hit me with anothrr 46

On Nov 21, 2021 I browsed the internet because my Kia Forte rearview camera was blurry, then I came across JustAnswer. I asked them about my car issue and I received a text message from them and asked for a $5 so I paypal them and I obtained a text message with a solution. Nov 28, I received a notification from Paypal that I have a recurring paying of $49 to JustAnswer, I got into Paypal and stopped this recurring payment, I called JustAnswer @ [protected] to demand a refund but the girl kept on saying sorry and because I didn't cancel the subscription within 7 days from the first day of service, they refused my refund.

i contacted JUSTANSWR on 11/3 for help. I did not sign up for a monthly $46 subscription. My bank contacted me on 11/10 about this charge and I said I did not authorize. I sent JUSTANSWR email 11/10 telling them they are scammers and not to try to charge my credit card again. They sent thru another charge for $46 saying that my email did not use they word "cancel". I explained that "do to try again to charge my account" means I CANCELLED your monthly membership that I NEVER agreed to! I have reported this company to the Better Business and also my bank. I had to close my credit card to stop these scammers!

I was online about a gas heater issue. When I saw the fee they wanted I disconnected right away. I was then inundated with emails giving me the answer I didn't ask for. Next thing I know is that they have charged my bank account $40. When I tried to complain to the company they refused to refund the money and said they were upfront about the fee. This is after I was given assurance of refund before I registered to become a member under justanswer. I asked just a question but it was unsolved. At first it wasn't understood, but I explained further but it seems abortive and unsolved. As such I had to seek for refund from justanswer.

On their chat, they told me that they were going to charge $1 for a week trial and and proceeded to charge $30 instead. When I called them, they refused to honor their word and said that I had accepted a membership because I post a question. I told them that that is not what I was told before receiving help. They said that nothing in the chat says anything about $1 week trial. When I looked back to the chat they recorded on my account, they conveniently cut the chat transcript just before the week trial was offered so they could say that there's no proof. To make it worse, both times I called customer service to request a refund, they hung up on me. So... just know that you will receive the service but there's not such thing as a trial period and that the customer service sucks.

I tried Just Answer to ask a legal question. After I asked, a message saying I was being directed to a secure page and that I could enjoy JustAnswer for 1$. Then I found they had charged me 1$ plus 46$ months membership. Apparently it says in very fine print that I would be charged 46$ monthly membership. Plus, the disclaimers and policies are not made available until after you pay.
I contacted customer support and was told that I was not eligible for a refund and that it CLEARLY stated that I would charged 46$ as well. Doesn't seem like I am the only one.
