JustAnswer Membership

Justanswer Assured me that I was only going to get charged 1 dll to post a question and that I had 7 day trial before being charged the full amount. I checked bank account and see that thr have charged me 46 without my consent. I spoked to supervisor Julious employee id 135481 and would not want to issue a refund or help me even though they mislead me into signing up to the membership saying I had a 7 day trial

JustAnswer Membership

I had a question regarding a legal matter. I was searching for answers on Google when Justanswer popped up, I typed up my question and it said "Experts are available, $1 to get an answer". Ok, great I put my information in and opted out of the membership.
I just wanted the 1 question answered for $1, like advertised. I got my answer having had a text conversation with the "Expert", then it kept asking me to pay $40 for a voice call. I declined, having my answer already, I declined the membership and the voice call.
Much to my surprise they charged me a day later for the membership fee.
Don't you know stealing is wrong? and after I declined more then once how do you justify charging my account?.
You can't say there's a miscommunication, because I clearly declined the voice call and membership.

Desired outcome: Rufund the unauthorized funds you stole from my bank account.

They refunded my account, I had to say they didn't answer my question. The ad said $1 for my answer, it was $5 and they charged $46 on the down low for membership. I got $46 back.

JustAnswer IRS scam senior citizen abuse

This is a SCAM site that tried to defraud a senior citizen in our care by high jacking her search for IRS help and pretended to be and IRS person even taking her credit card info for 'help' only to find out it was justanswer.com who set her up with a monthly 'membership' charging her $82 a month!

All she wanted to do was get the IRS to send her a tax return and suddenly these SCUMBAGS are charging a senior citizen a monthy charge for $82 for nothing...they obviously couldnt assist with her tax return they just stole the money and tried to scam her every month!

How is this CRIMINAL organization still in business?

How did this CRIMINAL organization hijack her internet search results for IRS help?

Why are these crimnial scumbags not in prison for defrauding senior citizens?

Desired outcome: CRIMINAL CONVICTION AND PRISON TIME FOR SCAMMING SENIOR CITIZENS.

JustAnswer Unauthorized charges to my ssd debit card!

This company is such a scam. Went on site August 1 2021 about getting information on a illegal foreclosure and removal. Paid the 5.00 and got emails saying my question had been answered..
Nothing was there. Then they wanted me to pay more $? No way... don't trust law his it is... from personal experience and left the site. Figured lost 5.00 but learned a lesson.

Boy was I wrong! That was only the beginning of their scam. Unfortunately I had mental issues to deal with and was not checking my card.

Beginning of October.. I am going through everything and these ripoffs had hit my card for 60.00? Never ever authorized this. Went to legal aid.

They did it again in September and just as I was looking into getting these BOGUS charges refunded.. and wow October they hit it again.! I have never gone back on the site since the first time!

DO NOT make my mistake! I have contacted my AG in PA since if ever there was a reason for a class action lawsuit... this company is at the top of the pile. How are they allowed to keep doing this.? Read the reviews.. Its their MO!

Disabled Widow and homeless... They need to be STOPPED!

Please please take this warning to heart... DO NOT USE!

Desired outcome: Refund of all the bogus, unauthorized charges!!!!!!!ASAP I am in desperate need of those funds! Everything I have written is the honest truth!!!

JustAnswer Membership that I didnt ask for!

I paid £5 for a few online questions. However, Just Answer took from my bank account £51 in August and £51 in September without my authorisation.

I contacted Just Answer via their chatline and was told I entered a membership! At no point was I told this because I would not have proceeded.

They told me as a one time courtesy they would refund £51. I said no you took £102 without my authority. They terminated the chatline.

Be aware of these scammers!

come on, man. No way to cancel.
I have refused the subscription at the time of my question. Fraudulent account access is a serious offense.

JustAnswer Membership

I am in several crises and all kinds of emergencies. I wrote out a very long, detailed complaint but due to the oppression, abuse, trauma, persecution I face I cannot post that complaint right now, hopefully later. But I just wanted to say quickly for anyone wondering, this service really sucks. The experts most of the time are clueless and dont know whats going with you or whats going on in general or even in their field. No matter how many symptoms you tell them they dont know and dont care most of the time. Customer service is severely rude and really bad and unhelpful. Its a grift. Beware. Also beware of their phony replies to reviews and complaints all over the internet. Fake! They have turned off Facebook reviews and google reviews to keep the truth from coming out. This is all I can say for now as I'm in a very bad and dangerous situation.

JustAnswer Request refund to be credited to my card

STOP!These are such scam artistes. They make it appear that they charge $2 for asking a question and try to take your credit card information and subsequently you're informed about a$66 dollar fee for a membership. Why would anyone have questions which is worth $66 every month? These are scam artists who should be punished severely for their fraudulent nature of business.

I must admit I felt guilty for filing a complaint, but apparently Just Answer is a far reaching organization of committed fraud and dishonesty.
It would be nice if a warning against them could be automatically posted on every computer.

I only wanted to get back on my email and they said it would cost $2.00 when $52.00 U>S> was mentioned I said NO I was only interested in paying the $2.00. When I checked my bank account this morning I discovered a $66.00 charge taken out by the above Tech Geek. I am 83 years old and live on 17, 000 dollars a year and this money was for my groceries for the rest of the month. May I "PLEASE" have a refund. P>S> they also took out the $2.00.

JustAnswer Scam

Service using PAYPAL to scam people: I was asked to pay a $5 fee for using the service. I agreed to the $5 but a week later, was charged $46. I thought it was an annual fee, but the next month, I was charged $46. It's a scam. I will let you know if they refund the $92 to me within the next 3-5 business days. This is literally a way to take people's money and they know it. I'm sad it's not an actual service and people are making money off of the disabled. The goal of this business organization is to take money from real, honest people without earning a penny of it. I pray for their souls to choose Jesus and get out of the scamming business. Thou shalt not steal.

Desired outcome: They need to ask before charging the $46 and allow person to cancel the $5 week of service. I didn't even get my answer. My husband had to go to the ER because the doctor never responded until three hours later.

JustAnswer Veterinarian*justanswer [protected] ca

Made a phone call to an internet search result, looking for an online veterinarian. My dog was very sick on the weekend. Found https://dogshealthinfo.com/online-veterinarian and called. I was told there would be a $28 charge to chat with a vet. I agreed and talked with a vet and got my problem resolved. BUT since then the above VETERINARIAN*JUSTANSWR800-240-1371CA has charged my credit card three additional times, each month for $31 for a total of $93. I did NOT agree to any further payments past the initial $28. To me this constitutes fraud and has been reported to my credit card company, who is contacting them and blocking any future charges to my account. Apparently this particular phone number has numerous complaints for fraudulent charges.

Desired outcome: Refund of my $93 and stopping the fraud.

JustAnswer Appraisal service not delivered.

I have sent them photos of 3 framed painting/artwork to appraise. It has been more 30 hours since I have asked the service and I have yet to receive an answer. JustAnswer has charged me USD 61.00 for the membership. I want my money back because they have not delivered on their promises. I feel that they do not have the expertise to appraise the artwork.

JustAnswer I dispute this charge. Do not have any knowledge of the company.

I was charged $ 46.00 on the 23rd of July by this company. Called them and was told I had ok'ed a subscription . I did not. Then was told they do not give refunds. Then in spite of this they took $46.00 again Aug.26th. Again was told I had a subscription and they don't give refunds. Can they do this and refuse to return my money? I am just not understanding a company being able to take money out of my account. They will not say anything to me except "we don't give refunds" . That is not justification for charging me . Can they go on "raiding" my account ? I hope to stop them and get both charges refunded.

JustAnswer unethical behavior

Earlier this evening, at 9:34pm on 10/7/2021, I typed a legal question into my search engine when an ad for justanswer.com popped up offering legal advice for a fee of $1. I typed in my question and I clicked on the link and entered my credit card information, only to have my credit card company send me an alert that I had been charged $60. I went back to look at the registration page and while the $60 membership is mentioned, it is written in a very misleading way, making it seem as if I'd be charged $60 after a free trial period had ended. It is clearly designed to dupe people into entering their credit card info assuming they'll be charged $1. They do not clearly explain the difference between a $1 'joining fee' and a membership. I canceled my membership at 9:37pm and I immediately contacted the company asking for a $59 refund. They responded at 9:59pm explaining that this is not possible since I already used the service. I was subscribed for exactly 6 minutes. I clearly did not intend to purchase a monthly membership, and would not have spent that much money if I was fully aware of the situation.

JustAnswer Continuing to debit my credit card monthly for Mechanic service that I requested two years ago

About two years ago I required advise as to how I could remedy a fault on my Forklift engine.
It was answered satisfactorily once and my credit card was debited.
But the same charge has continuing to be debited to my credit card monthly.

JustAnswer Charge to my credit card.

I see that I my credit card is being charge $70 a month. I did ask a question a few months ago but I do not recall signing up to anything that authorised this and would like to know how to go about cancelling this monthly payment. I should like this monthly charge to be cancelled immediately or I would like advice on how to get this done.

JustAnswer Lawyer service

I read that there was a 7 day trial period so I signed up answered my question gave my credit card info but after receiving a response that was exactly what I read on Google I decided to cancel (about 20 min after I enrolled) so I cancel snd still get charged the $47.00 ($46 membership and $1.00 to lure you in). When I questioned the charge they said well sorry you did enroll and knew the fees. That's great! This place is not worth it don't join go online on Google to get your answers for free because they lied about 7 day trial period because to me that means I have 7 days to cancel and not get charged. Well I was wrong!

Desired outcome: Give me back my $46!!

In requesting a refund I also was directed to the customer contact board. Before I had finished my request for a refund of the $46.00
they shut me down--completely. It is evident that these people form a company without a consciences where dishonesty is the norm.

JustAnswer Refund

I called and asked 1 question that was not answered or even helped for that matter. I told the rep the day of the call to cancel, this service will not be needed. I also emailed. I was still charged for 2 months. Spoke to 3 different reps with broken English with 1 rep having a loud dog in the back ground. I was also over talked and requested a supervisor each time with no help.

I took a 'trial' question for which I was charged £5 via my credit card. Two weeks later £30 was charged to my credit card, I let this go as I thought it was a genuine mistake, then a month later another £30 was taken.

Desired outcome: Have these people prosecuted and my money returned.

JustAnswer Misleading solicitation of membership

I am really upset to the bad experience with the way of doing business of JustAnswer Mechanics. It seems to be that this is their Modus Operandi, just misleading people hiding or placing in the least visible place of their website, their warning that the caller has been trial connected and has 7 days to cancel. It just happened to me. I do not remember having seen such warning and After my initial contact on August 2, I was charged $50.00 twice on my credit card account, the first one on Aug 12 and the second on Sept.13. I talked to their Customer service and explained my case I requested a refund but the best solution I got was the cancellation of the unsolicited membership starting on October 7, 2021. Justanswer must change this misleading approach to survive as a honest business. Best Regards, Carlos Montalvan
