On Nov. 7, 2025 I signed up with JustAnswer to ask a very simple question. I was told via AI generated customer service chat that the waiting time was 4 minutes for a call from an "Expert". I waited over 2 hours and no call was ever received. I subsequently returned to the AI Chat and requested to speak to a live customer representative and was told none were available. Then I received 6 AI email responses that had the same unhelpful message. I then received emails from 2 so-called experts giving me irrelevant and incorrect information. They were clearly not "experts". I registered a complaint to the AI chatbox. I received 3 duplicate emails in return from the chatbox again that did not offer any helpful advice. I also indicated that I wanted to cancel my subscription and wanted a refund. This again resulted in 4 more repetitious and irrelevant AI emails. This back and forth has continued for 4 days with no resolution in sight. I went back to the JustAnswer website to cancel my membership. I was shocked to learn that they required a $27.50 cancellation fee that was never communicated when I signed up. I have had 4 days of a totally frustrating experience that was a complete waste of my time. In summary, JustAnswer has failed completely in customer service, providing a correct answer to my simple query, and cost me a great deal of money. Given my totally negative experience with JustAnswer, I request a refund for my initial outlay to the service and a waiver of the cancellation fee.
