Dont trust these guys! They took my money and didn't give it back even when I cancelled. Make sure you block them from your account when you cancel because they will still try to take your money.

I gotta say, watch out for these guys at American Auto Repair Coverage. Their reps are total liars and will say whatever you wanna hear, even if it ain't true about your car troubles. When they call you up with their scam, just hang up and check out CAR SHIELD for some real extended warranty coverage.

I dunno bout this company. Been a customer for like 7 months now and still ain't got no money back for the car maintenance I done. They said I get one year of oil changes and a battery, but ain't seen none of that. Might have to cancel if they don't pay up soon.

I gotta say, American Auto Repair Coverage is the real deal. They got some folks there like ***, *** and *** who really know how to treat their customers right. They went outta their way to help me out and I gotta give 'em five stars for that. They were patient and understanding with me, and they stuck with me through the whole process to make sure everything went smoothly. I can't thank 'em enough for everything they did for me. So if you're lookin' for a company that's got your back, look no further than American Auto Repair Coverage.

I got a contract with powertrain enhancement on 07/17 and paid $102.62 per month on my credit card. I paid around $1500.00 in total. I never made any claims and canceled the contract on 10/4. An employee told me that I was getting $500.00 back, which is one third of what I paid. They also said that I shouldn't expect to get paid until the middle of January 2022, which is three months after I canceled the contract. This is not good, and someone in charge needs to check this company and their practices because I see that there are many complaints against them.

I talked to a guy named Victor from American Auto Repair Coverage and he was super helpful. He answered all my questions and didn't rush me, which was cool. He's a real pro and a nice guy too. I'll definitely ask for him next time I call. It's nice to talk to someone who's patient and explains things well. I hope his boss knows how good he is and tells him. Thanks again, Victor!

I don't trust this company, ya know? I started talkin' to 'em in December , right after my mom passed away. She had a policy with 'em. I had to get her all caught up on payments to cancel the policy, which I did on 12/15. They told me I'd get a refund bigger than what I paid. They even said so in an email to me. Here's what they said: "We got your cancellation letter in early June. We usually give refunds within 90 days of getting the letter, 'cause some customers try to charge back payments. I see that we closed your account in Dec. 2020, so I'll try to speed up your refund. Right now, it's set to go out on 9/10 for $434.27."

I've tried to follow up with 'em a bunch of times. I sent emails, called the service guy ***, and called their customer service line. They told me last month in November that some administrator had to approve the payment. But now it's been another month and I haven't heard anything. They're ghostin' me, man. I wouldn't mess with this company if I were you.

They talk down to you make you feel like bum

Mrs Olia *** truly solved my rental problem afther having my car for repair in the repair shop for a week I was told I was only getting 1 day rental which Made me very upset so I called *** back and got Olia *** and she was able to solve this Mater and got me back the full 5 day reimbursement which made me very happy and satisfied with the final results from *** thanks to Mrs Olia

i had a contract w them for auto warranty n i cancelled it n wrote them a letter n waited 90 days n still havent got my refund for the contract of $500.

I was told to take my ride to the closest mechanic and they'd fix it up without me having to pay a dime. But what gives? I'm still shelling out cash! They ain't keeping their word! I served my country in 'Nam, so why am I getting the short end of the stick here?

I got the warranty from American Auto Repair Coverage and it was all good until my truck's AC started acting up. Luckily, the AC was covered under the warranty. I called them up and they told me to take it to a certified mechanic. I went to the Ford dealership because I've been there before and they've done good work on my truck. The mechanic said there was a leak in the AC, but American Auto Repair Coverage denied my claim saying that the leak was there before I got the warranty. Even though the mechanic said there was no leak before, they still denied my claim.

I signed up with American Auto Repair Coverage and paid $180 upfront. They said I could get my money back within 30 days if I changed my mind. I changed my mind after 3 days and called to cancel. They said it would take 2 weeks to get my refund and that they wouldn't charge my credit card for the first monthly payment. But they took $92 from my card anyway and I still haven't gotten my $180 back. I tried calling them but can't get through. They keep sending me mail even though I cancelled.

I had a problem with my radio and it started acting up on its own. An air bubble also appeared on the screen. I called American Auto Repair Coverage and the person I spoke to said it was covered. I took it to the dealer at 11:00am and they took a picture of the radio. They wanted more pictures, so I waited for a response. When I called, the woman said she was about to take lunch and would send a message to her manager. I waited until 4:30pm and they called back saying everything was covered since it was a factory radio. However, the dealer declined my claim and it took them a long time to make a decision. It was very unprofessional. I wasted my money and time. The dealer told me everything would cost $700 to fix. I talked to someone and they told me it was due to cosmetic issues. Well, they won't be getting any more of my money. They are the worst and I want my money back.

I started a warranty with American Auto Repair Coverage on 6/4 for 108.75 a month. In October , I called them to let them know that my truck was having some issues. I took my truck to a Dodge dealership to have it looked at. At first, they told me that I needed 5 months of oil changes, so I showed them the oil changes. They approved the claim, but days after the truck was broken down and we were told it had engine damage. It was going to cost 7200.00 to have it fixed. The company sent out an adjuster to look at the truck after it was broken down. Days later, we called to see what was going on because we hadn't heard from anyone, only for them to tell us that the claim was denied because of the tire size and a leveling kit. My thing is the truck is 4 years old and the tires have nothing to do with the engine. If it was the transmission, I could see them saying that. We just want them to have the truck at least put back together so we can have it removed from the lot. After they denied the claim, they canceled it.

I got a call from American Auto Repair Coverage in August after I bought my truck in June 2022. I bought the auto plan on August 30th or 31st but I told them that I would check if I already had coverage once I found my car papers. I called them on September 10th (I don't remember the exact date) to cancel the service. The representative said it would be cancelled and refunded in 5-7 business days. But the credit wasn't refunded. I called in October and November and the representatives told me the same thing. They said it was cancelled but the funds weren't released. I called back in December and was told that my credit card company was holding my credit. They said they saw that I cancelled it in September and the funds had been released. But that wasn't true. I called my credit card company and they said they don't hold credits. They did an investigation and I gave them the transaction ID I was given to prove it was cancelled. Today, February 17th, my credit card company says they received documents that show that I did not cancel this service so the charge is valid. But that's not true. I just want my full refund since I don't have this service.

So, I got a call from American Auto and I was like, "yeah, I'm interested, but I ain't got no money right now." The guy was cool and said he'd give me the deets and I could decide later. I never said I was gonna sign up or nothin'. But then, outta nowhere, they took $99.99 from my account! I called 'em up and they said they'd cancel it and give me my money back in three days. That was two weeks ago and I still ain't got my money back! And now some other company is sayin' they gonna take $100 from my disability check every month! I never agreed to that! I told 'em I don't wanna do business with 'em, but they won't leave me alone. I just want my money back and for 'em to stop botherin' me.
