just answer $46.00/month membership charged to my credit card despite the fact that I cancelled the account shortly after I used it.
I was out of town and had to make a credit card payment without my normal process. Computer said I had to engage "Just Answer" in order to complete the payment so I joined for "Just $1.00. " with the assurance that it could be cancelled at any time.my payment was complete. I then called Just Answer customer services, requested cancelling the subscription which he said he would do. My Chase card in May showed another $46.00 charge for Just Answer. Chase was able to remove that charge. Now the same charge to "Just Answer" has appeared again in June and now July.
I will continue to dispute those charges until you drop them. Please do so immediately. Please call me 314-303-9810 so this matter can be resolved immediately and amicably.

account charge
About a week or so ago, I inquired about a painting I have. I expected some sort of reply from someone. I never got any answer. Yesterday I got my American Express card bill and there was a charge of $28 by "Just Answer" . I did not subscribe to your service and did not get any response from anyone on my question. Please credit my AX account with the $28 because I did not agree to this charge and I will never use your service, period.
Thank you.
my email: [protected]@gmail.com
I agreed with Just Answer to the basic $5 charge - there was little further discourse via the web - we were not on the same wave length and all contact ceased. approx. 5 days later my card has been debited with a $40 charge without my authority and or agreement . Please refund as appropriate. I am trying to submit my complaint however your request to sign up appears - I have already done that hence the $5 payment.
Please refund the $40 asap
unauthorized credit card charges for tv tech support
On June 29 I contacted Just Answer with a question regarding the use of my Durabrand 55" smart TV. All I needed was to find out how to do screen mirroring on this TV. I was forwarded to Bonifacio Gomez, who was helpful, but unable to help me because he couldn't find any information on my TV, despite the fact that I sent him my model and serial numbers (Durabrand LE55U6500DA). He sent me a couple of suggestions, which didn't work, and then continued to send me emails to continue the process, but by then I had invested almost an hour in a fruitless contact, as it was clear he didn't have a clue regarding my TV. After a while, I stopped responding to his emails, although I did return to rate how helpful I found him. I gave a rating of two stars because I was not helped at all but wasted time in the process. I did give my credit card info but the instructions stated very clearly that I would not be charged if I was not satisfied with the assistance. Much to my surprise, I see a charge of $17 on my credit card. I request that this charge be reversed. I would have been willing to pay the minimum charge of $5 as informed, just because he took the time to try to help me, but I consider that $17 is not justified as I received no satisfaction. I would like to clarify that Bonifacio was courteous and tried to help me but did not have the information to be able to do so. Thank you for your consideration of my request.
technical advice
I called be get help with my kindle. The "technical" help I received was totally useless. I want my dollar returned and cancel whatever "service" I was signed up for. I would be willing to give you the $1.00, but I sure do not want to be charged on a continuing basis for "technical" advice that is useless. The person I talked to could not understand what my question was until we had gone over it several times even though the question was quite simple. Namely, "how do I transfer my kindle to my wife?". You really need to get people who have a better understanding of the English language.
I called to get help with my kindle. The expert advice I received was totally useless. I was charged $1.00 and it was indictated that I could cancel at any time. I do not want this "service" and I want my money returned.
unauthorized charges to my checking account
I noticed a number of charges to my checking account in 2018. I thought they had finally ended but saw two more charges, last month and the current month. I did not authorize any of these, and have only once tried to use 'Just Answer" over a year ago. I want the current charges reversed and no more charges made by Just Answer to any of my checking accounts.

unauthorized credit, card charges and unethical behaviour.
I foolishly logged into Just Answer, hoping they would help me with a Samsung problem. I was told that it would cost a refundable $US5.OO, which was not refunded. I did not need any further help once they told me what I could do to correct the problem I had with my fridge/freezer. I was asked if I wished to speak to a technician, but I didn't want to. I was then charged another $70 on top of that. I now find that I am being charged another $70, even though I am not using the services.
This is just a rip off, and I would like my money refunded!
This just happened to me. I paid the $5 but then emailed them to say that I didn't need their service. I just discovered that they have deducted $66 from my bank account yesterday and now I see they did it last month as well. I have to cancel my card to stop the payments. A criminal investigation is needed here.

charges
I was recently transfered (somehow) to your site whilst attempting to source a replacement part from TomTom for their GPS device. I was told I needed to pay a refundable $5 and was connected to a Toyota mechanic! ! Obviously TomTom had misdirected my enquiry. I now find that I have not only been charged the promised refundable $5, but also another $41.20 for membership. Where's all this coming from?
If somehow you have signed me up for something, please cancel it forthwith and refund the amounts already charged

deductions from bank account for no services rendered
I foolishly requested assistance from JUST ANSWER and was told to pay up 5 GBP, which i did. The answer was totally unsatisfactory and was told that i must pay an extra 33 GBP for more information. I declined. Now i see that they have deducted 38 GBP from my account . For what i would like to know?
Companies like these need to be "named and shamed" as they take funds for doing nothing and rip the public off. They also give a terrible name to online shopping.
question never answered.
I asked a question on JustAsk and I never got a response. They took my money out of my account. They told me it was going to take 8 minutes for them to answer and I never got a response.
I've been reading and a lot of people say this is a scam and that they get charge every month. Somehow I managed to cancel the subscription, I just hope they don't charge me for nothing in the future.
my account was charged with a unauthorized amount and cancel my account
I wanted to know something relating to my entertainment unit and was asked for my credit card details so that a minimum charge of $5.00 could be charged, fine, I decided not to continue with the service and thought that was that. A few days later my account was charged AUD $69.00 which was for a "membership" charge something I knew nothing about or authorized.I attempted to log in and cancel this payment and the return of my money, Of course I had forgotten my password and after three attempts to get a new password nothing,
These people are out and out crooks and there are page after page of complaints testifying to this.
I want my money returned to my account now and any connection to this mob cancelled
unauthorized debit card charges.
I have used your service once about 2 Year ago and I paid for it. I have never signed up for anything else and I am not a member of any club, yet you charge me $64.- Dollars every month. Are you crazy? I am a pensioner and cannot afford this kind of crooked Game. Unless you refund all you have illegally taken from me, I will have to do something else to retrieve all these dollars you fraudulently charged to my account.
Have you people no conscience? Stealing from a 75-year-old pensioner who is struggling to stay alive on a minimal Pension? I am sure you can find a different way to get rich.
I remain in the hope that you will see the light

deduction of $46 for nothing
I've been charged $46 for NOTHING. I have no idea why this showed up on my credit card bill on 20/06. They are a scam.
I was charged $5 and paid only to receive an email that my membership had been cancelled. Since I did not subscribe to any membership I ignore.
On 21/06 my account got debited.
I sent a mail immediately and logged on only to see membership active. Same company I received mails on the 29th og may that it had been cancelled. Thy wen t and deducted my money and not -$5 but $46 and they have refused to give me my money. that are a big scam.
keep taking money out of my account
I joined just answer about the 15th or the 16/6/2019 and asked them for help with why I couldn't get net flicks on my TV as it had happened about 4 times. I paid $5, then they took $29 out to speak to a specialist. I didn't hear from a specialist till about 2 days after, he did apologise for taking so long to answer. But I had already been to a shop and bought what I needed and fixed it myself. So I actually never used him.
On Saturday the 22/6/2019 at 1/4 to 5 am Australian time they have taken out $49. I would like to cancel the service and get a refund back. I can't cancel my card to stop them taking out any more money as I am going on a road trip and won't have time to change everything I will need to as a consequence of changing my card.
I would really appreciate your help.
Thanking you Diana Barclay

Appropriately 15th or 16/6 /2019 at 2030 hrs I signed up as I needed help getting onto Netflix. They charged me $5 to ask a question, then they took out $29 to speak to a specialist. Well the specialist never got back to me until about 2 days later, he did apologise for taking so long. I explained that I had already fixed the problem myself by buying something from the shops which fixed the problem.
Then this morning at about 0500 hrs 22/6/2019 they took out another $49. I had already explained to them that I didn't use the services of their company and I wasn't happy with them.
If I could get some help as I would like my money back. I will be taking this as as far as I can to stop this happening to anyone else.
Thank you
Diana Barclay

just answer
vip@justanswer.com is the email address I wrote to cancel saying I do not want to use this service. I have been charged from 03/04/2018 and would like a refund for the full amount of months x the amount charged, please? Regards, Julie Stewart [protected]. email address is [protected]@gmail.com
I joined to ask a question and then rang not emailed as I previously wrote to speak to someone in New Zealand to let them know that I would not want to use the service again as it did not give me any satisfaction to my question. Not helpful at all so I thought the cancellation had been done.
I am changing banks a have gone through all of my accounts since 01/01/2019 to make sure I have not missed companies to send our new details to before we close our accounts. I came across this same amount of recurring each month. This should be shut down the way these companies are not being ethical. They have no morals, they take peoples money and they can see no other questions have been asked of Just Answer and I had told them I would not be ever us the service again as it did not meet my request. Not a good service really.
legal advice
I Thought that a source of internet advice might assist me to fight a speeding offence.
I was asked to make an initial payment that could be refunded within 7 days if I was not satisfied. After a complex email dialogue with several people purporting to be Barristers etc I realised that I was on a trip to nowhere so I emailed them to cancel the payment and any further contact. However, I did not receive a refund and over the next few months I received emails from various Justanswer individuals who referred to my initial complain . I tried again several times to get them to cease and eventually they stopped. Last week I checked my bank statements and discovered that they had been taking an unauthorised £40 from my account every month for 6 months. Nationwide are now taking steps to retrieve the payments and I trust that they will successfully get these scam operators to cough up. I am reliably informed that the bank are dealing with similar problems by this company daily!
