Cell C use to be a nice company to deal with but not anymore.
There accounting system are awful
In December 2020 I change my debit order date and on the 6th February 2021 I was debited twice I queried this and was told by the operator that my payments should be monthly in advance that is why there was two deductions.
Now I want to cancel one contract and the operator said that my payments are monthly in arrears.
I honestly think that Cell C are robbing the people - I joined Cell C in 2001 when they started in South Africa

Contract paid up but blacklisted
Hi I payed my accounts outstanding balances but on my credit record there's a judgment that I didn't pay my account I even sent you guys my proof of payment but still I can't get assisted and I've called logged complaints but instead I'm told cell c will contact me within 2 working days but no one calls me back to resolve the issue I'm not happy with the service I'm getting
Desired outcome: To get a paid up letter and the court judgements to be removed from my profile
Unauthorised Debit Order
I have had an issue with Cell C and a fraudulent account opened in my name. I have sent all required documents and they have not responded to me for over a year.
I have called call centres, fraud departments and even posted on social media with no assistance. I constantly get told to resubmit documents I sent long ago but no resolution follows thereafter.
I need urgent assistance as this is negatively impacting my financial standing and Cell C is not interested in helping.

Non delivery of cell modem

In 2018 I was retreched, I sent proof of retreched to cell c. Once I got a job again I reached out to cell c to make payment arrangements this was 2019. Every year I have been calling to make those arrangements I am sent from pillar to post and they keep giving me different reasons why my cases hasn't been logged I am frustrated really and this has affected my credit score. Contract mobile
The contract ended on February but they kept on debiting my account while I was not getting any benefits. Until I canel it on july now I have to pay for something that I didn't get. I hate how celc do things
Terrible service by cell c
I had this attached Cell C contract and its paid up long time ago and am battling to remove my name from the ITC AND CELL C is failing not interested in issuing me with paid up letter for this account. As a result of this, my name is ruined from the ITC and i cant access finance anywhere. my life is a mess as a result of this insensitive company. will you please assist me in forcing cell c to issue me paid up letter for this account.
Desired outcome: PLEASE REMOVE MY NAME FROM THE ITC, AND CLOSE THOSE TWO ACCOUNTS.

my name remains blacked listed where as my account with cell c was settled more than three years ago. i had three accounts with cell c and they are all paid up but on my credit record shows that they are open and active. cell c is not responding to my complaints, i cant open other accounts because am blacklisted as a result of cell c not clearing my name with the ITC
Refund due to me.
I logged a call in 2 December for a refund.
Provided proof of payment on the 6 December as per the consultant request.
Was told payment was was procesed 14 December. It now the 24th December and still my money has not been refunded.
I AM HONESTLY SICK OF CELLC'S incompetence.

Contract
They take my money every month, but my lines are suspended for 2 months now, its been going on now for 6 months now, im gatvol for this.
The operators that work remoteley sounds like they are still in bed sleeping, and when they cant answer my questions, they just end the line..
I keep on getting enails that i'm in arrears but i've got the POP that I pay every month, I sent it through everytime I phone cell c, and to a lott of email addresses.
They are dragging my name through the mudd.
I want it sorted out please

Fraudulent invoice/statement
My 3 Cell C contracts were cancelled at the end of its 2 year contract period and the numbers were ported to Telkom. During the two year period my monthly invoice for the three contracts were paid by debit order on time and never returned unpaid. After I cancelled the contracts, a statement arrived via email with an outstanding amount of R537. There was no invoice attached just an amount on the statement for R537. This amount is such an odd amount because the 3 contracts were identical at R399 each and they weren't open lines but top up contracts so no last charges on one last invoice. The question is why haven't they sent me an invoice and why haven't they just debited my usual payment method (debit order). My credit profile now shows that I have not be paying my Cell C account on time with the R537 showing as unpaid.
Shortly after receiving this statement (with no invoice), I received a call from their debt collection attorneys trying to collect the "outstanding" amount. They couldn't tell me either what the amount is for. When I called 084135, they could not find any outstanding balance on my profile, odd. I asked for a paid up letter 4 times, but still nothing. This is totally unacceptable and smells like a fraudulent activity on my account. But the worst part is that I have tried to resolve this by reaching out to Cell C, in fact, I've spent several hours but to no avail. I have cellphone contracts with Vodacom and Telkom and have no problems with their customer service. Cell C has no customer service and are utterly unprofessional.

Contact on a Laptop. Sales Consultant lied about what they were giving me
Don't get a contract with Cell C. Their instore consultants lied to me and told me the laptop I was getting has a i5 processor. When I got home and started using the laptop I eventually found out it has NO processor. Then I have been trying to contact cell c so that I could return it as the store is located 50ks away. So it's difficult for me to go back to the store. I have been begging them to phone me after work since July yet no answer. When I finally got hold of them today... They tell me that they cannot help! So angry. They are absolutely useless.
I do not have enough petrol money to drive back to the store again as I am unable to work on my laptop and get income. I can't even run Netflix properly.

A conract I did not take out

Canceled contract with number
[protected] end September 2021, cell c agent phoned me and said she see I also have a data contract I am not using and why I said well we have Fibre at home. She suggested that those data minutes she can allocate to the number [protected] so my daughter can use the data at least. Since then cell c charge me R800 per month as they said I took out a new contract and I did NOT! Please go and listen to the recording. The only contract I took with the data I am already paying for the remainder of the data contract with the minutes allocated to the number above is a R29 whatts app bundle. Cell C is in error I will never take out a contract of R800 for my daughter as we are struggling financially, but cell c only says it's a new contract I also want a copy of recording in order to go to a lawyer if this is not resolved soon.

Detail Statement of Pre-Paid Account
I was a victim of 5 WASP services.
I don't need Cell C to resolve the issue, but what I do need is a detailed listing of the Debits my Pre Paid account, Four weeks now just to get one document.

Incorrect debit amounts - theft
Cell C are debit incorrect amounts since May. I have sent proof of payment. Local Cell C branch at La Lucia sent proof of payments. Still not corrected. My statements reflect some crazy amount they cannot explain how they got to this figure but keep debiting my account. That is theft. f.[protected]@cellc.co.za then accused me of tampering with my bank statements which is defamation of character. I sent a complete bank statement from May until November showing every proof of payment. This is still not resolved. I do feel my last option is to open a case of fraud against Cell C and a case against f.[protected]@cellc.co.za.

No internet 2 weeks now and 90% of time no service for the last 2 weeks.
No internet for the last 2 weeks. Apparently sim faulty for the second time but store have nothing in stock.
This is a Business phone. I need it 24/7. 90% of the day it says emergency calls only. Cant phone cant receive any calls. I work on a mine and I can not afford to miss any urgent calls. I have informed them but they are starting to complain as they say it cant take this long to get your phone fixed.

Adverse listing when account was paid months ago

My issue still hasn't been resolved, and despite numerous calls, emails, complaints on Hello Peter and visits to the Cresta Branch, nothing has been done.
My account was paid on the 3rd September and Cell C still haven't allocated the payment to my account, despite sending the proof of payment numerous times. I have now been listed on ITC, but my account was paid months ago.
