Cell C Cell c contract

Good evening,

This is now becoming frustrating because it has happened twice already this year; in a previous incident, we were wrongly charged in June, and it was resolved.

Cell C:[protected] & [protected]

After sending the email below to cancel my contract with you guys, which was intended to be done in September, I today received a debit order for R1063.53 ref [protected].

Before I think about hiring a lawyer, may this account just be resolved? I feel tormented by the incompetent staff members who don't have the customer's best interests at heart.

Desired outcome: cancel this useless contract, settle my unpaid debit order and make sure that this does not affect my credit score.

Cell C For my refund to be done immediately!

I have 4 contracts with Cell C and have been loyal for many years. I requested a refund as I had overpaid on the 2nd of December, I have been told to email a screenshot of my proof of payment which I did twice, they then did not call me to notify me that I need to send a bank statement, I called to follow up and was told it needs to be in pdf which I sent through twice. I called today and I'm now being told that I need to send to a different email address, this is now 2 weeks later for my own money which they can see reflects in my account but need proof. I'm soo done which cell c, you have lost a loyal customer. In the last year 2 of my contracts were worth R60 000, I will now do business elsewhere.

Yoh I'm soo shocked that they have marked this case as resolved. It's a lie! And just to think before I even lodged a complaint on this platform, I browsed through some complaints to check if issues have been resolved. How deceiving!

This issue has not been resolved. How many more are marked as resolved but are not? I received a call saying that my complaint has been escalated to the ceo desk and I will receive a call. I'm still waiting... can anyone Herr offer any advice on my next step, I've been told to lodge a complaint with the telecommunications Ombudsman, is there anything else I can do to get my money back? I would appreciate any advice.

Cell C has yet again shown no interest. They attempted to call me yesterday and I was in a meeting at around 4pm. They then sent an email asking for an alternate number, I responded and apologized for missing the call, I then requested an immediate call as I was now available, they replied with 'noted' and did not call back!

Cell C Cell C store at rosebank

I did a claim last month at rosebank cell C store and I was help by a lady called malestasti as l have been waiting for a feedback on the 14th December I decided to contact cell C Insurance and they told me that the phone was never blacklisted but malestasti gave us a reference that I used to open a police case

So if I don't get the phone I'm cancelling my contract with cell c

Cell C Cell C as a whole

I am writing this message with a huge frustration with cell c and your so called agents, I have been seeking assistance since beginning of 2022 but still nothing has be done about my requests and yet you guys are so quick to disconnect my services when payment is not done.

I have been requesting for a call back regarding my contract which is over charged and I am not being debited what I agreed on, for my first cell phone contract and a separate Sim card contract which I am charged over R800 but my initial contract was R399 and the Sim contract is R149 also there are services that I have tried to to cancel many times but your agents keep calling without a solution but promise to call back and never come back to me, I mean I have been paying my contract but the treatment you get from cell c after the product is sold is unmatched, I have cancel my insurance but I'm still being debited, I also cancelled this useless service called GET MORE but I am still being debited, what else am I supposed to do to get your attention and actually get my requests met? Maybe you guys can give me a clear answer as to what chanells should I go to

Desired outcome: I need the extra services canceled as requested and get my refund and also get clarity why I'm being charged an amount which is not agreed on.

Cell C Request for cancellation - phone collected in 24 hours and Cell C refuses to cancel my contract since 24 November

Tele marketing call to offer me a data top up of 10 gigs and a new sim and and a phone a04s. Accepted the offer as it would only be 100 rand additonal cost. What was delivered was a new contract for 349 with a phone on the friday 18th nov. On 23 nov I called cell c and requested cancellation - given case number and reference number. Courrier was sent the next day to collect the unopened package. To date cell c refuses to cancel my contract and advise that they will now charge me per day billing costs. For what? An unopened package that was returned. Customer service consultant tells me today she has to start and investigation before she can cancel. New reference number for all [protected]. Reference number for call on 23 nov [protected] case number 211230/241 parcel collect by RAM courriers from my home 24/11/22 RW [protected] RC202212314707 CCD10076470. CELL C does not dispute that they collected the phone they now want to investigate the actions of their call centre tele marketing. this is not my problem. logged a call

Desired outcome: cancel this contract immediately. i have a cell c contract taken in august 2022 why woudl i want another one. the client service on the current contract was miserable , unfortunately iam stuck with it for 2 years.

Cell C Paid Up Letter

Good day,

I have been trying to get my paid up letter from Cell C but I have been struggling, Since my account has been handed over to Shapiro- Shake and Associates. I made all payments requested from Shaprio-Shake and Associates which I finalized on the 20 of August 2022. I am still receiving statements of outstanding balances but Shapiro- Shake has provided me with a paid up statement which I have now.

I need my paid up letter from Cell C because i have other commitments i need to fulfil but I cannot do anything without my paid up letter.

Can can I be assisted with this regard.

I am sick and tired of you for not finalising my refund.

Firsty your customer service department is quick to say that someone will come back within 24 hours and no one is coming back.

I made a lot of calls to your call centre that always tell me that someone will come back to me,and no one did.

I am listing a lot of case numbers from your sight asking for the same documents over and over again without solving my problem.

Cell C SIM swop

I phoned in 2 Dec to do a SIM swop as my pH was stolen, the first call went through all the questions and lady said to call back as my OTP number was kicked out of system, now I had to call back , I call back and now apparently didn't answer a question correctly and now blocked? This is absolutely ridiculous, I'm paying a contract and can't use my pH , already inconvenced , this is of urgency and now must wait when the first time had nothing to do with me but your computer?

Can I urgently be assisted

Cell C Cancellation of debit order

I recently cancelled my Cell C contract as I needed to move my contract to a Vodacom business contract with the new company I joined. Since canceling I have been debited an amount of R188. It seems strange that I was debited after a contract was cancelled. I called the Cell C contact centre on 084135. They were not able to help and I needed to call [protected] - this seems to be an external call centre. They were not able to help and effectively advise they could not give me a reference number, email or feedback on this. I am now complaining as I need an answer as to the following:

1. Why was an amount of R188 debited off my account despite my contract being cancelled

2. Confirmation in writing that there is no active debit order

Desired outcome: Feedback within 24-48 hours and reversal of R188 if incorrectly debited.

Cell C Service received at cell c phoenix and cell c gateway

Good day

Please note on the 25th of September I lost my phone and I I have an insurance with King price as I have the vehicle insurance with them. So they need headset query to verify if the phone was in use. So called the call Centre and they is no one assisting me with my query. My insurance told me to visit the store and ask someone to help me and I went to the first store that is Phoenix Cell C and I was told that only the manager can be able to assist me with what I need of which she didn't even see me to attend to my query instead she ask for my id from a staff member. The document she gave me did not have the company logo/stamp for the company as a result the insurance company rejected the document and I visited the store in Gateway as I took the contract with them but still no assistance as well from there, a manager didn't even try she told the employee she can't help me. Is this the service you giving to your customers or the way you train your staff for customer service? Mind you I don't have a phone since September I'm being sent from pillar to post for a simple document to verify that my phone was being used at the time of the incident. I'm also dealing with customers and that not a way to treat a customer as far as I know if I have a complain someone needs to acknowledge me and attend to the complaint I have. Can I get what I ask for in order for me to fulfil or to finalize my claim, my id no is [protected] cell no for my contract is [protected] and my IMEI no is [protected] and my contact no is [protected] to be contacted for this query.

Please note I'm frustrated and angry at the same time due to the service I'm getting to this company that I trust. I need a document with the company logo and stamp in order for me to get my phone that I claimed through my insurance. Maybe you are doing this because I took the insurance elsewhere not by yours?

Desired outcome: I need to be contacted by someone that will give me what i ask for in order to get my phone back .

Cell C I want this resolved and for all those unpaid debits on my account to be refunded

I took out a contarct for my daughter 2 years ago, this Dec the contract will be expired. about 7 months ago this year I changed my banking details and advised Cell C about the changes, however they failed to update my details and this resulted in me having to make manual eft payments and sending them proof of payment. I have been doing this every month but somehow they still say that I owe them money and they have been randomly debiting my account and this has caused alot of unpaid debits which I have to pay. ur original date of debit was supposed to be the 28th of each month, so somehow now that my details have been updated they just debit me. every time I call they keep saying the accounts department must update itbut still they continue to debit

I am frustrated and want this resovled, because I will not be renewing this contract. cell c has disappointed me so much that I will not recommend them to anyone, because clearly no one knows what they doing

my debit amount is R1098 but they debit R1100, R1200, every month its a different amount

Cell C I need my paid up letter

I took out a contract with Cellc and lost my job was unable to pay, I was handed over to their debt collectors, I started paying every month for two years R250.

My account was paid up in April 2022 which I received a statement with a nil amount owing.

I have contacted cellc and the debt collectors till today not one of these providers has sent me my paid-up letter:(

Your consultants did contact me regarding my paid-up letter and told me that Cellc has nothing to do with my paid-up letter since I was handed over to SSDA,

When I phoned SSDA they say they have been waiting on cellc to confirm if they can issue me with my paid letter which I don't understand why since am on zero balance outstanding with them too.

Please contact SSDA or email them or else phone them to please release my paid-up letter and clear my name at CREDIT BEREAU.

This is so sickening!

Cell C Sim Contract not agreed to

On 30th of August 2022 I received a call from a cell c consultant. He offered me a new contract. I was not happy with his unprofessional approach as he told me what he will do. I refused and said he must call me after work in order for me to think about it. Hence at 16:35 I received a sms that my order is approved I never agreed to it. Since then I am struggling to sort this out this problem. I had to run around for something that is not my fault.

I have call and have sent many emails to cells exclusive department. What is upsetting is that i always have to make follow up. I also went to Cell c store in N1 City, and was informed that they also does not get any feedback.

Desired outcome: I wish that Cellc can take accountability in this regards.i want all the money deducted payed back to me.

Cell C Fibre from cell c

Hi

I have called Cell C and informed them on the 1st of November that I’ll be moving properties on the 27th November. Its the 24th today and the matter is still not sorted. I have a very important meeting to attend, but as things stand I need to maybe just make another arrangement because I don’t believe they will have the matter resolved.

Since the beginning of my relationship with Cell C they have dropped the ball so many times that I don’t actually know why I’m still with them.

In the last 3-4weeks I’ve spoken to multiple agent. Very nice people but they are clearly working in a company with a dysfunctional process.

Lately, for the past week I was ask 4times to agree to the new debit order so we can finalise the order of the new line. Because apparently you cannot just keep you contract to the new address.

Now the downside is that they are the middleman, Vumatel still needs to be contracted to do something as well and only heck knows how long that will be taking.

My argument is not just the annoyingly bad service and experience I’ve had with them, they are making me jump through so many hoops and let me not answer my phone once ,because I’ve actually have a job that is more important than hearing the disappointment, they would send me an email informing me that they couldn’t reach me.

I do think that companies that want to step into the market and compete with the big guys should make sure that they know how to deal with the process , because their inexperience clearly shows. Anyone that’s think of joining CellC maybe give them a skip because I don’t think my request is difficult, I’ll be moving properties, to a property that’s already fibre ready.

I’ve been logging so many calls and spoke to so many people that giving specifics will take so long. The two agents I’ve dealt with last was Siphelele and Nobility.

I will be sending a formal compliant on the 27th November to both the Ombudsman and ICASA if this matter is not resolved. I will also invoice CellC for the inconvenience and for the additional costs incurred if they do not deliver. And maybe just to inform the rest of society I’ll send a play by play feedback to my editor friend and warn society that if you are with CellC that you rather make sure you don’t move properties.

It is utterly unacceptable that I have to be treated like this and companies like this still come to you and debit you the full amount and don’t give any gesture of apology. My time costs money in the same way lawyers and engineers enjoy.

Get you house in order CellC and fix my problem. Also consider me gone if you have not sorted my matter out.

Cell C Unethical conduct

Absolutely horrified with their level of service to say the least!

They upgraded my contract to x 3 times the amount WITHOUT my consent. When I wanted to cancel my contract, the rude consultant indicated that she can not assist because my details are incorrect and could not be verified by the system, this is just after I have spoken to another consultant who were able to verify my details, and casually said "go to a store to cancel".

After leaving a review on Hello Peter, I was contacted by them only to be told AGAIN that they cannot assist with the cancellation because the system were unable to verify my details.

So they steal from you and then make it impossible to cancel your contract!

After reading other reviews and Facebook comments, it became evident that I am not the only one ... so is this how they are making money?

Unethical, pathetic company I NEVER want to be associated with.

I will write my review on all platforms possible to safeguard other innocent consumers.

Cell C Mobile account

I took out a Cell C mobile contract in February 2022. The debit order to go off on the 10th of each month. In March my account was debited for part of February and full amount for March (R855,58). April and May debit order went off without any problems. In June, Cell C customer care contacted me advising I'm one month in arrears. I checked my bank account and the debit order for May of R534 did go off my account but I noticed that the debit order for June did not go off although there was sufficient monies in my account on the 10th. I then made a payment directly via EFT on 22 June for R539,01 (interest incl). Cell C then debited my account on 25 June for R534. This means they got paid double in June. Since then I had made numerous calls, spoken to numerous agents to set the record straight, sent numerous emails with PROOF of payments made. Every time I'm advised, they are working on it, or the matter is resolved but never is, just to receive another phonecall advising my account is in arrears and so it went on backwards and forwards for months. After 5 months I have totally given up. In the meantime, I have continued to pay my account via EFT sending proof of payment to them, but they still have the audacity to debit my account up to 5 times in one month, adding R70 per "insufficient funds" on to my account?! I kept all the proof, bank statements, a long list of phonecalls made, who I spoke to and my emails sent to them. I have proof of everything, but for some reason they are not efficient enough to pick up their mistakes. My credit score is affected by this as well. According to my records, I'm up to date with my account. Can someone please help me.

Should you need any or all proofs of payment etc, I will gladly send same.

Cell C Not being able to blacklist my phone

I owe 2 months on my Cell C contract. I made arrangements to pay this.

However my phone got stolen on the 5th of November. Cell C is now refusing to give me my ITC number. I even got an affidavit and took it to a store and you guys are STILL refusing.

I am still willing to pay the outstanding amount but no one wants to help me and now I am without a phone and cant even claim from the insurance.

I know of people that have been handed over and could still get there ITC numbers why are you guys refusing this? I am not even given the option to activate my account again. This is such a bad experience

I please need this resolved urgently i can't earn a living without a phone

Cell C Cell C Contract

Your consultant offered me three data contracts, with the agreement that I could also load call time, however, the contract limits me to only data, and I cannot add call time to my monthly spend, nor load directly from my bank!

Today, 10/11/2022 marls the fourth time, I have called to try and migrate the contract to one where I can load both.

In an era where people work with phones, this is utterly disappointing that it get's limited to one or the other!

Desired outcome: My contract to be migrated to a contract where I can have both options available, at more or less the same monthly cost, or the contract cancelled so i can return to pre paid!

Cell C Cell c mobile contract

I entered into a contract agreement with cell c in November 2018. my cell phone was stolen/robed in April 2019. I requested for sim-swop but cell C couldn`t assist me with reasons known by them.

I continued paying the contract and it was due in November 2020.I phoned and arranged for cancellation of the contract but cell c didn`t do it instead they deducted the account up until July 2021 when I decided to do reversal in my account. In February 2022 they handed my account over to their legal department. I just find out in October 2022 when I was applying for my daughter`s student loan that cell c has blacklisted my name in the credit beaurox.

All I need is the settlement letter that I have fully paid the account in November 2020. I do not even care about the money that was illegally deducted from December 2020 to July 2021.

Desired outcome: ALL I NEED IS JUST A SETTLEMENT LETTER.
