I walking down the aisle back to the tire section and slipped and fell on their floor. Due to their lack of caring about their customers. They alleged after their investigation, the store found no reason why I fell. This is outright bull crap, my shoes were in perfect condition which did not cause the fall. How about ove rwaxed floors. They do not desire to...

Walmart capris

I really wish there was a way to contact Faded Glory directly, but as they don't have a website, I guess this will do. I purchased two pairs of Faded Glory denim capris from Walmart. The first time I wore each pair, the zipper broke...teeth came off in the EXACT same spot. Of course, I can't return them because I wore them and took the tags off. I do know that because of this, I will NEVER buy Faded Glory brand again and I will make sure everyone I know and don't know (gotta love Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, etc...) about this. This is clearly shoddy construction and lack of concern for quality of product. Disgusting what companies get away with these days.

Walmart motorized shopping carts

I have a complaint about the motorized shopping carts for the disabled and handicapped. My elderly mother MUST use them to shop. Today she had to leave the store in TEARS, without her groceries, because the battery died in the middle of her shopping! AND this has happened BEFORE! The carts need NEW BATTERIES! And the seats are too high on them. Since Walmart got rid of the Door Greeters, the carts do not get plugged in very often. Walmart thinks they're saving money, but now there's NO ONE to stop the shoplifters at the door. And they're also losing money because people like my mother CANNOT SHOP due to the UNRELIABLE CARTS! This is DISCRIMINATION against HANDICAPPED PEOPLE!

You are a bunch of cold, heartless, uncaring people without an OUNCE of Compassion for the elderly! I'm glad You're not MY son or daughter, I'd hate to depend on you for anything! My sister used to work for Walmart and she KNOWS that motorized carts are provided by LAW, yes LAW, for the handicapped in the store! Get your facts straight! Also my mother CANNOT get an employee to bring her another cart when they ALL have dead or low batteries, the store doesn't have nearly enough carts! Also some door greeters do still work there, but they do NOT work at the DOOR! And since they do Not, I have not seen even ONE cop car there, and before, cops were there nearly every time I shopped! Shoplifting causes prices to rise, so you Should worry. It affects us ALL! And my mother Cannot afford her own motorized chair or cart, and she Cannot turn the wheels on a manual wheelchair due to crippling arthritis in her hands! She drives herself to the store but can barely walk from the car to the store. She has lung and heart disease and CANNOT stand on her feet very long at a time. She Must sit to shop. Someday you all WILL BE OLD and disabled, and how would you like it if people were cold and indifferent to YOU and your needs? Think about it. What goes around Comes around!

Instead of replying to each misinformed individual, let me just put this here and get it over with.

Federal law does not require retail establishments to provide motorized carts or other mobility devices for customers with disabilities. The applicable federal law is the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which prohibits discrimination in several areas against people with disabilities (42 USC § 12182(a)). To this end, it, among other things, requires places of public accommodation to be handicapped accessible so people with disabilities can get into them and access goods and services.

For ADA purposes, a retail establishment is a place of public accommodation subject to the act's accessibility standards. This means that any such establishment opened for first occupancy after January 26, 1993 must be readily accessible to people with disabilities, unless it is structurally impracticable to meet the requirements. Those that opened for first occupancy before that date do not have to be fully accessible. But they must remove architectural and communication barriers if readily achievable and, if not readily achievable, provide an alternative method of making their goods and services available to people with disabilities. Examples of alternatives to barrier removal include (1) providing curb service or home delivery, (2) retrieving merchandise from inaccessible shelves or racks, or (3) relocating activities to accessible locations.

ADA regulations specifically state that public accommodations do not have to provide their customers or clients with personal devices, such as wheelchairs (28 CFR § 36.305).

Suck it up buttercup and get a life at your own expense, not someone else.

Maxthecat, you need to get your facts straight about the LAW! No where in these United States is there a law that says Walmart or any other retailer is required to provide you, your mother, or anyone else with a motorized cart to ride your butt around on while shopping. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires businesses that serve the public to remove barriers from older buildings and to design and build new facilities to provide access to customers with disabilities. A key component of ADA compliance is maintaining those features so they remain usable. Some large retail stores provide electric carts for use by customers while shopping. The ADA does not require these services; it leaves it up to the business to decide what services it wants to provide. Walmart and other retailers provide these carts as a service to their customers and are in no way required to do so by LAW, except maybe the one in your mind and the one your Walmart employee sister made up. Get your facts straight before you start whining.

Here's my opinion but first a little background. I am 71. I have an artificial left hip, artificial right knee and right shoulder, screws in both elbows, 3 fused vertebrae in my lower back and on top of all that I have a dual chamber ICD implant in my chest. For those of you that don't know ICD stands for implantable cardioverter defibrillator, think pacemaker. I have a handicap license plate and I take advantage of the handicap parking spaces when available. One thing I don't take advantage of is the riding carts at Walmart or any other retail locations. I tried once but was so embarrassed that I turned around and took it back after going about 20 feet. My take on all of this whining about carts is just that, it's a bunch of whining from a bunch of whiny, self entitled, self absorbed individuals. No store is obligated to provide riding carts to anyone as per the ADA. Look it up. They need only provide an easily accessible door wide enough for you to get your behind through and handicap accessible aisles and bathrooms. If you truly need a cart, Medicare will pay for one for you simply by obtaining a doctors prescription. If you can't get around without whining, stay home. Walmart and just about every store in the country now has free home delivery with a purchase of $35.00. If these shopping excursions are your "getting out" all I can say is that's sad, bordering on pathetic. If it were my decision to make there would be no carts in any stores. They only encourage more lazy behavior from the already over lazy population that America has become. Get up and move and remember, if you rest you rust.

You're right, Greg. They're not "required" to provide those electrically powered shopping carts. But it's a good idea, since some people actually do need them. And they're good for business in another way. Many people have relatives or friends who need the carts. If they see a business going the extra mile to accommodate their needy fellow humans, they may well become regular customers. I don't like the fact that I need to use an electric cart, but I have bad knees and can only walk (with a cane) the equivalent of half of a small city block at a single go. I am 73.

Good for u that you are able to attempt to get around on your own, for thar I applaud you. However, you are a very small minority of elderly and disabled persons. That's a choice that you made for yourself, don't call others whiners because there are limitations to what they may be able to do, choice or not. Recent back surgery does not allow for me to have a choice. Not everyone likes to use the online shopping, I want to see what I am paying for. Insurance is not an option right away, it takes time. Understand you are rare and not everyone isike you. U should understand that at your age.

To those saying this isn’t a law, or read the law, or understand the law, blah blah blah. To those I say, YOU need to read the law, and YOU need to understand before talking harmful nonsense. The ADA clearly states that “REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION” be made. The idea behind the entire act is to give disabled patrons equal opportunity. It’s NOT just about size of restrooms or hallways or doorways. This is why big corporations have more accommodations than small mom pop shops. It’s unreasonable for a small shop to make accommodations that could sink their store financially. But allowing carts to leave the store? That is absolutely within reasonable accommodations for a big corporation like Walmart. Call the ADA yourself if you think this is inaccurate because they’ll explain the same thing. It’s sickening how many people think they know and actual think that restriction against equal opportunity is “right” in any way, shape, or form. The law is there but corporations don’t follow them because there aren’t enough advocates to defend it. And after reading this thread, I can see why. It’s shameful how heartless people can be. I believe in karma and whether you do or not, it will come full circle. And when it does, at least you’ll know why it happened to you.

NO ONE IS HEARTLESS! You state "This is DISCRIMINATION against HANDICAPPED PEOPLE!" No it is not. Walmart is not required to provide that scooter for your mom. It is your job to provide a scooter for your mom.

Disclaimer. I am a disabled vet and scooters have died on me in stores. Most employees will see me and go get me another cart, if an employee is not around I call and they help me.

We didn't take your mamma to raise, that is your job.

Partially right, it is not discrimination against handicapped people but by law they must provide a way for handicapped to get around. who knows what the actual state of the battery itself is. maybe they do charge them and the battery is just so old it cant hold the charge.

Show me that law please. If that were a law then convenience stores would have to have scooters. I checked the law. There is no law that states a store has to provide a way around the store. The only lost states by the ADA is that the store must be navigational with at least 32-in aisles, preferably 36 so wheelchairs can get through. You need to know the law before you say that you know the law. Now. It might be a lot in your state but federally it is not and it's not a law like that in Texas.

There is no law that says Walmart or any other store must provide transportation for handicapped people. All they are required by law to provide is access that accommodates a wheelchair and a handicapped accessible bathroom. Look it up in the American Disabilities Act. As for scooters, if said person is on medicare, medicare will purchase a scooter for the person as long as their doctor writes them a prescription for it.

How was this resolved? Walmart and Sam's Club don't care about the handicapped in there stores? At Weslaco Texas Blvd and Sam's Pharr I always, and I mean always, wait by the exits for some user and chase this to the parking area for my wife. Not only that they don't have enough but their units seem to WWII models.

Now go to HEBs in TX and even Home Depots. These stores really care and have enough.

Resolved? What a shame!

The shame is that Americans have gotten so lazy and self entitled that they think everyone owes them something. That's the shame here. No one has a law given right to anything other than those granted by the Good Lord and I can't recall anywhere in the Bible that says Walmart or anyone else has to provide you or your wife with a riding cart. The ADA doesn't either.

Federal law does not require retail establishments to provide motorized carts or other mobility devices for customers with disabilities. The applicable federal law is the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which prohibits discrimination in several areas against people with disabilities (42 USC § 12182(a)). Walmart cashier stole from my six year old.

Your Erie, Michigan store hires the rudest cashiers. When my son was three years old he picked up a chocolate bar and wanted it. This was after I cashed out. The I asked if my son could have the chocolate bar because I did not want to get in line. She said I have to pay for it. I said come on he is only three. Then I made my son put the chocolate bar back and said that he could not have it because the cashier is a mean old lady. Today I bough my son another chocolate bar because he asked if he could have one. The cashier was about to put it in my bag and my son grabbed the chocolate bar from her. The cashier pulled back and he said "give me my chocolate bar right now I want to eat it right now." She said he was being very rude and he would not get it until he said please. I told the cashier to give my son the chocolate bar since I had already paid for it and if she did not I would call the police since it is not my property and she is stealing it. My 12 daughter was with me at the time and told her that she just because she does not like her job does not give her a right to take it out on a six year old boy.

Shut up Father of Triplets you are from Canada.

First of all if you live in the USA and don't want to be pushed around you have to be assertive. Second what do you care they don't even have Walmarts in Canada so it is not like you are an employee. My guess is that Gino Orlando and mattroll Ashleigh1 are all employees, most likely cashiers to defend these rude cashiers.

If you had read the review you would know that in the case where he was six I had already paid for the chocolate bar. So by not giving it to him they would be stealing from him. Second a thousand dollar television set is completely different from a 67 cent chocolate bar. She has no right to teach him manners and could learn some herself taking what is not hers. I had already paid for the chocolate bar so she had no right to take it from him. No Gino dummy this is not a life or death emergency so I would not have called 911. Calling the police and calling 911 are completely different things.

Update by WayneKyle
Jul 31, 2012 9:27 pm EDT

You guys are talking this the wrong way. He's just a kid, they really need to have more child friendly cashiers. First they did not give him a chocolate bar when he was three. It was during Christmas and it was busy and I did not want to get in line again. I had spent over $100 and returned everything because of this. The chocolate bar cost 67 cents. I doubt that this will break them. Now this, stealing candy from a baby.

Update by WayneKyle
Jul 31, 2012 9:22 pm EDT

The chocolate bar was his. When she took it from him, he told her that he wanted his chocolate right now and she had to give it to him because daddy paid for it.

wow! So let me see, you don't want to stand in line, therefore, walmart cashiers should just hand out free stuff to your son and if they don't, its because the cashier is mean? Then on another day, your son is rude to the cashier and you want to blame the cashier for this? Hmmm, seems to me, you think your kids are entitled. Wal-Mart does not own MoneyGram, and MoneyGram sets the policy for their money order refunds. Basically, you call MoneyGram for a refund. It is not WM, or any other retailer's fault that you have a bad check and the system will not let you cash a money order. Most Money Gram locations don't even cash the money orders, they only sell them.

The same thing that happened to Melissa2007 happened to me today (except it was double that amount). We have no check cashing places around here and the money was from my soon to be ex-husband for rent and car payment. Now I am out 1500 he is out 1500 and myself and our little girl have to figure out how to keep from getting evicted considering I can't pay the rent and 30+ days is out of the question. I had the flag removed by moneygram but walmart still won't cash it and say I have to go to a check cashing place but I have yet to find one that will even cash a moneygram money order and if they do, it is like walmart, you have to have purchased it there. So now, since I do not have a bank I don't have a way to cash it!

The comments are beside the point. It doesn't matter what he/she was buying with the money order and where he/she could get food for the grandchildren, Stupids! I am sure this person is not trying to find a problem solver. Wal-Mart should have given a refund for the money order, especially if it was returned with the receipt. The same thing happened to me. When you call the money order company, they will tell you how to cash the money order, even if the money order was not used as intended, and you wrote someone else's name on the money order. Wal-mart and Moneygram were blaming each other for putting a hold on the money order. I went to Wal-mart three different times because the Wal-mart employees told me they would cash it with no problem. They told me they couldn't cash it because of the Certify information. Certigy told me I did not have a bad check, but that the amount was questionable. I am having to fight for my $709.00, and it is a battle. I am sure there is going to be a class action lawsuit about these transactions. I will never shop at Wal-Mart again. Ever!

Just tear it up, bring it back, say you tore the wrong thing. Get a replacement in your name and cash it.

But I agree, if you used it as planned, would your grandchildren have gone hungry? Why not be sure you have basic needs before taking a grand and spending it? What bill was so vital, other than rent, that you could have taken $50 off the balance for food?

Walmart negligent management

Apalachee pkwy walmart management tawanna was rude angry because I told her that one of the workers was throwing electronics on the shelf. Alot of workers are complaining of low pay. The store on tennessee st. At night time is lax. I complained to a employee name peter and he refused to call the manager. I located a employee named harriette and she pretended to call management. Walmart treat you like cattle

Shopping at the Aiken, SC can be dangerous since the Walmart employees seem to think the customer does not have the right of way in the store. When they are moving merchandise through the store on large pallets, they will run you down if you do not get out of their way. All the while they will say excuse me, but they should be saying “I’m gunna mow you down!” Last Saturday I was in the store with my little boy in the cart. We were browsing the toy department and just leaving that area when a girl pulls a full pallet of merchandise right out in front of us like we were invisible to her. All the while she is chatting with a coworker. I only needed a second to get around her but she did not care that I was trying to get by. Instead I think she expected me to retreat and go all the way back down the aisle to get around her. Then, with us standing there waiting, she just turns right into the aisle we are in and almost runs us down. Although she says “excuse me” this does little to help us. Since we have nowhere to go, I barely make it around her running into the bicycles off to the side of us and bumping over the pallet bottom. I am lucky the cart did not tip over with my little boy inside. As I complain to her about this, she simply acknowledges that she did say excuse me and that she did not see me “because she was busy talking to another employee at the time. GAD! I wonder if she drives a car the same way. I am guessing yes. This situation is all too common at Walmart. I guess the employees do not care whether they run you over or not and surely must not care if you shop there. After my latest experience, at the end I walked my way to the door; throwing out the items I was going to buy one by one as I left the store. I complained to Walmart directly and have not as of yet gotten a response.

Sorry but you shouldn't expect 5 star service from a 1 star kind of store. You get what you pay for when you go there whether it is their cheap china made crap they sell or their crappy customer service associate that get's paid exactly minimum wage and not a cent more. If you want cheap ### well...that is the price to pay when you go there. They know that if you aren't happy and don't return that it is okay, there are millions if not billions of people that will so I doubt that you will ever hear from them anytime in the near future.

Walmart accused of theft

went to buy groceries at walmart with my wife and 5 year old daughter last week and I started to check out and as usual most of the lanes were closed and the few that were open were lined up so I did the self checkout after scanning almost 300.00 worth of groceries and bagging all of it I took my things to my pickup and started loading all of it when a man said there was a mistake with some of my items could I return to the store with him...we hauled all of our things back inside and followed him to an office and he went through all of our bags and checked all of the items off of the receipt but one little 9.00 outfit for my daughter did not scan and he accused us of stealing and grilled us forever and asked what our intentions were by going to self check out and told me I would be receiving a warning in the mail! if it did not scan why did the weight meter not go off when I put it in bagging? why would I spend almost 300.00 and then try to steal a 9.00 outfit? I spend almost 1000.00 a month at walmart but I wont anymore! I have never been so embarrassed in my whole life! the security tape clearly showed me scanning the item! there is a right way to do things but this was handled the wrong way and now you have lost my business!

This was my point! It might have been the system and the security guard saw me scan all the items and pay so the RIGHT thing to do was just be polite and have me come back in and pay for the clothes but instead of thinking oh the machine should have caught this but it didn't he went right to you are a thief!

ok try and keep up... if it was a 15 item or less checkout it should have said that! if they don't want people using the self checkout they need to open more registers! no I am not a homosexual my name is Christopher not Christine!
you people are what is wrong with the system!
I scanned all items in my basket and not at anytime did the machine say remove an item and rescan it! If it had I would have done so!
the problem was with the security guard acting like he was important that he really was! if you cant be a cop get a job as a security guard and bully honest people? If there was an issue he could have been polite and said there was an issue with an item scanned and we need you to come back in the store and pay for it! I would have not had a problem with that!
he accused me of stealing in front of my 5 year old and my wife! why would I go in and spend 300 bucks just to steal a 9 dollar outfit? that is just stupid! If their own machine did not catch the mistake how the hell am I supposed to know it didn't scan?!?!?
I don't care if they watch the large checkouts because I had no intention of leaving without paying! I don't want to know how to beat walmart out of money! If you don't have anything constructive to say then don't bother wasting my time with your childish crap!

Update by Chris4848
Sep 26, 2012 7:43 am EDT

you people are the reason nothing gets fixed in these situations! I was not stealing! I scanned all of my items and paid what it said I owed! I have scanned items that it did not pick up and the machine said remove item from the bagging area and rescan it so I did just that and had no problem! I DID NOT go in that store to steal a stinkin 9.00 outfit for my daughter! The problem was the security guard and his attitude! if there was a problem he could have just said we saw you scan this but the machine did not pick it up and we need you to pay for this item! not treat me like a thief in front of my 5 year old daughter! why would someone go in a store and spend 3 hundred bucks and try to steal a 9.00 outfit?
If walmart wants you to have 15 items or less to use the self checkout then they need to have a sign that says that and they need to not be so cheap and open a few more registers!
now for you DEEZIL my name is Christopher not Christine! no I am not a homosexual and you need to grow up! what a jerk!

Two things i have to say about this...FIRST:
If you knew the item did not scan, then you know it is not paid and is not free. Even if it cost .02, then it is scanned and paid for. The item you indicated did not scan and you know you did not pay for it. So, what is your grief. This is theft. why are people arguing with you about what you stated yourself as knowingly you didnt scan it?
I dont think you were concerned about paying for it after spending your money, you felt entitled to a discount.
Second: However, You should not have to scan things yourself. This is not saving troubles for walmart. This is a pain in the ### and shows walmart could care less about us. By us working the scanners and helping them out, it costs them less labor. I disagree wholeheartedly with the idea of me buying it and have to work the damn register too.
BUT in the end it sure sounds like you knew you didnt scan and didnt pay.

You are not entitled. The city hoodlums and ghetto or middle class, or those considered upper class types do not deserve entitlements being decided by anyone other than the judge or authorized representative. I think you felt entitled.

"lolwut? You need to scan the items that you intend to purchase. The system doesn't magically know everything that is in your cart. If you do not scan an item and leave the store with the item, this is stealing"

In fact, the system is supposed to know and there is no "magic" involved. Every purchasable item is scanned into the system along with the weight of the item so when the customer or cashier scans it, the weight is likewise added to the order so when the item is put into the bag, the weight of the order balances with the cash total of the order. Sounds to me like the system screwed up. You assume the system was working perfectly. In this case of this individual, it seems that it was in fact, not.

Walmart same cashier rude to me

Less than a week ago I went into Jennifer's line. I vowed not to go into her line again, however her line was the shortest so I went in her line. I paid for my stuff in cash and demanded she give me dollar bills and coins which were minted in my year of birth. She owed me $6.52 cents in change. She found a something with my year in the $1 and $5 bills, and two pennies which were minted in my birth year, however she had trouble finding two quarters with my birth year. She had one the year after I was born, but I told her no, I wanted all the change which was minted in my birth year and to go to other registers to exchange the quarter for one minted in my birth year. She refused and said she could not leave the register just for that. I felt like slapping her. I told her that my husband worked for home office and that I would tell him what happened again and he would fire her. He said that is exactly what I said the last time. Unfortunately my husband refused to fire her because she mistreated me last time and I felt like slapping and divorcing him and aborting the baby we created together.

Walmart was so angry, wanted to return items but they would not let me

I made a mistake of stealing five DVD's which totaled $60. Everyone does something dumb once in a while. I pleaded with the security guard to let me pay for them but they did not because I lied and claimed I was 17 hoping to be charged as a juvenile. I had also bought some other items on the same trip. I was so angry that they would not let this slide being the first time that I told them I wanted to return the items I purchased. They said no that after the police come(yeah they called the police for a misdemeanor) that I would escorted out of the store and banned for a year. They told me that I would have to get someone else to return the items. The only people I know who can return the items are my parents and if they found out I shoplifted they would be really angry. I also have 11 year old twin sisters. When I told them how my parents would react to the shoplifting when I had to explain why I wanted to return the items they were sarcastic and said I should have thought of this before I stole the DVD's.

Walmart does not care about the people who are struggling

I have three kids, and I just had my last one. A child support order was just recently placed on one of my kids fathers and I am already receiving child support from the other one.. I went into Walmart recently and they denied my food stamps because of the new support order.. I haven't even received my check yet, . I couldn't even buy enough food for my kids because of it.. They didn't seem to care either|. Unless you are rich and have a lot of money to spend on their crap goods, I wouldn't go to Walmart.. Go to Family Dollar or your local grocery store, especially if you reveive welfare or wic'. I now have to go back to this Walmart to retreive my food stamp card that I threw at the cashier and manager lady before I stormed out of there this morning!. That was wrong I know, but I was soooooo PISSED!

Walmart rude employee

Lets start off with I been going to that Walmart for just about my hole life, I seen many rude and many good employee's. How ever this one just top it all. I was in line secound time around at the customer service to return an Item that was to small for another size. The first time I stood in line there was only one working the long line, while few others kinda walk around abit not doing much, Then the women ask for someone to help out with the line and someone did so. I finelly made it to the lady and notice I grab the wrong shirt. I told her I will be back I have the right one in the car, I came back in stand back in line and a women cut right in front of me I said soft "well thats rude" I know she heard me. When the Lady who was helping the line started to talk to her. Thats when I notice she was one of the Employee's.. Wow shocking, but not surprising these days. So when she left the line after chatting it up. (here I am On a time limet and dont ask what I was thinking coming here)) So when they get done now I can get the right size and do the rest of my shopping super fast for I wasted enough time. As I was done with my shopping I decided to try out the New Subway they made inside the store.( I been working all day and have not had time to eat so I will take it to go ).Being Subway its next to the coustomer service station I can hear them all cussing and going about enjoying their self you can say. I try not to look over there because I just thought I heard that lady say she is a manger.. I really hope she is not maybe I heard her wrong or they where talking about the manger...As I was standing in line as the man was helping me with my order, There she goes again skip me in the line at Subway! Honeslty I had enough at that walmart as with the few rude Employee's. I say Walmart you should hire your own Mistery Shopper go into your store few times a month! :)

I went to buy a Tv at the Wal-Mart located in 9300 NW 77th Ave Miami Gardens the employee there treated very poorly. His name is Salvador.

I have been a Customer Service Manager for 28 years and I refuse to allow this type of behaviour

I feel that this store in particular has a very low degree of Customer Service training and it is not pretty .

I don't think I as a customer should be subjected to insults.. I asked

3 questions everyone was answered rudely .

I would like to speak to someone about this. I am reporting this event.

Walmart diapers

I went to my local Walmart to get much needed diapers for my young son. I had discovered a Kmart ad that had big boxes of Huggies

diapers for $5.99. I thought what a deal, because they are usually more than $15. I decided to go to Walmart and price match it. When

I got to the store, I had picked up 6 boxes and proceeded to the registers. When I got to register 16, the cashier named Marci wasn't

sure I see could do the comp without an ad. I proceeded to tell her that she wasn't suppost to see the ad. Marci still wouldn't buge.

I even showed her the ad on my I-Phone. That is when CSM Lacie showed up. I showed Lacie the ad and she said she would be right back.

Marci then followed Lacie over to the service desk. After what seemed like forever, both women and service desk worker Crystal came

over to the register. Lacie proceeds to tell me that they will not honor the ad, because she claims that Crystal had called Kmart and

that the ad was a misprint. There was no $5.99 sale on Huggies. I said they honor all prices that are lower than theirs. Lacie claimes

that Walmart policy states that they don't comp misprints. Marci then asks me if I wanted the diapers or not. I didn't say anything

other than you need to change your policy then and walk out the door. I am totally disgusted and angry. As a matter of fact I was so angry that I almost smacked my two year old son for having a dirty diaper and crying at the wrong moment.

You have an iPhone and can't afford diapers? Where are your priorities? Walmart's policy is that they do not honor misprints. The store that did the actual misprint doesn't have to honor it so why should Walmart?

Decided to give you one last chance but you blew it.. The store seemed halfway empty of products today". I couldn't even get my shopping cart down many of the aisles because stockers had left their carts in the aisle!. Not to mention there was a ton of abandoned shopping carts in the store(I wonder why?) one girl got a 'tude with me when I GENTLY pushed her stock cart out of the way/. I nearly smacked her right into the wall! I am also tired of the filthiness and poor customer service in this store'. I feel like I am in some town in Mexico when I shop at this store|. Walmart no action on disputed claim

Vendor charged my account, and was posted on day of order. Order never received. Filed a timely dispute. was informed by walmart discover via an 'outsourced' employee, that it would be a full 30 days before they could research and credit my account. Other credit card companies immediately suspend payment until problem is resolved. Not walmart discover card ie GE bank. I will close that account completely as if this had been a huge amount, i would have had difficulty obtaining credit after paying for something never received. BAD policy. BAD company. Have been loyal walmart to this point, but will charge nothing else and close this account., and withhold payment. I'm not concerned about credit rating as i'm cash based.

Addendum: after emailing wmt corporate, suddenly the disputed charge was reversed. What WMT has yet to realize, is that GE capital bank, their vendor, is NOT consumer oriented, and reflects ill against the walmart Logo on the face of the card. In times when WMT needs every loyal customer spending 9K per annum, they seem to be doing their best to invite that customer to shop elsewhere. Dept. by dept. we have slowly shifted our business from them. First it was the auto dept., where they refused to install tires ordered online that were already IN their dept. ready for install on a sunday a.m. where there was NO one at the online terminal to officiate the paperwork. Next it was the pharmacy dept., where they refused to match competitor pricing stating that the competition was OUT of their territory. Now that we've closed the walmart discover account, the service station will be their next loss of business as there are nearby competitive gas retailers that equal or beat murphy oil. They just can't seem to see the writing on the wall. Maybe they've forgotten about Sam, and become a slave to their own system putting the customer last...

Walmart does not own the card. The logo on it means you can use it at any Walmart.

Walmart csm and cashier dont' know the meaning of customer service.

As I got in line at the express register at my local Walmart, I didn’t notice that her light was off. I guess the cashier didn’t notice me at first, but when she did, it was the most unpleasant experience I ever had. I told her she didn’t need to get rude with me and that her lane closed sign wasn’t up. I asked her nicely if she could ring me up anyways as I felt it was not fair to make me move to another line. She rudely declined saying she had to get to some meeting. I didn’t care if she was going to be late for the meeting and is fired. My point is, she should have had her lane closed sign up. A turned off light doesn’t mean you are closed. At this point another register open right next door to the one I was at. I stormed right over to the register in shock that I was treated as bad as I was being treated..

When I threatened to report the cashier to management, she started to cry and apologize". It was too late now.. This is when the pathetic CSM shows up'. The CSM didn’t greet me in any way.. She went straight to the cashier to ask what happened". What the cashier told her was a complete lie and made me look like a bully, . And none of that was true!. Then instead of disciplining the cashier, the CSM tells her to calm down and get to the meeting. The CSM made no attempt to speak with me at all. That cashier should have been fired on the spot. I am a elementary school teacher, and I would have never allowed any of my students to speak with me the way that cashier did. Especially when it was their own faults. I don’t tolerate rudeness and lies. When I make a list of the supplies that my students need for the upcoming class I have told the parents that they are not allowed to shop at Walmart for their school supplies because I won't be correcting any papers they bought at Walmart and they will get an F for incompleat work assignment and recieve a detention for not completing their homework. I used to teach third grade and will have some of the students again this year in fifth grade so they know how strict I am.

I am going to report both the cashier and CSM. I have had a run in with that CSM before when she was a cashier. About a year ago, I had made a complaint on this site about this CSM refusing to clean off her counter and claiming I threw my shirt at her. I had called and made a complaint about her, then they turn around and made her a Customer Service Manager. I guess this store doesn’t need me as a customer anymore considering they support rudeness and lying.

Update by Fifth grade teacher

There are ways to find out, for example I can ask for receipts where they bought school supplies. Also I never threw the shirt t the cashier I simply shoved it in her face when she refused to clean the counter. I then talked to the manager about her false accusations and they said that they had cameras and caught everything on tape and I was in the wrong. Anyways that incident happened a year ago nearly. Part of the reason I was to teach older kids was because parents complained that I was strict and made their children cry, so they transferred me to fifth grade. The children were lying and one claimed I hit her when I did not I simply tapped her on the face when I asked her a question three times and she was not listening. Since they had no proof this did not go further, but with complaints from other parents about their children coming home crying I was transferred to fifth grade. Now I teach these children again and some parents are protesting.

Wow ... Just Wow.

The nerve of some people!

Do you really think that because she works at Wal-Mart and you have an education degree, that it gives you the right to speak to her inappropriately, tattle to the nearest CSM, make the attempt to get them *Fired* from what is possibly the only source of income they have to provide for their families? Seriously?

"I didn’t care if she was going to be late for the meeting and is fired." Are you kidding me? You think ringing out your items is more important than her making it to her meeting on time? Wow. You are a real piece of work. This particular statement spoke volumes about the type of person you are and honestly - You should be ashamed of yourself.

You obviously have issues when it comes to teaching children. You Do Not *Tap* a child's face to get his or her attention. You should not be teaching at all. You should not have an education degree. You should not work with children, animals, or the general public. You should actually change your career where you can be a Bully all day long and get paid for it. Your new path should be a debt collector. Although, I would probably be able to get you fired from that line of work too because of your attitude. It is inexcusable.

Please - I encourage you to come through my line. I encourage you to throw things at me, behave like a spoiled brat, make unnecessary demands - Please, please - Come through my line. I will give you a degree in RESPECT FOR OTHERS that you are missing from your resume.

You may have a degree in Education, but lady you have no CLASS. The bell rings in your school at the end of the day and you go home. The light goes out in the cashier's lane and that means she is either going to break, lunch, or home for the day. Yes, it is THAT simple.

I am a cashier at Walmart and I deal with people who are rude all day long. You definitely sound like you were rude to this cashier when she told you her line was closed. She had her light off, that means she is closed. No if's, and's, or but's about it, light off means closed. To dictate where your students buy their school supplies is completely idiotic. You should not be teaching the next generation when you are so incompetent to realize that a light off means the line is closed.

looks like you need to be fired as a teacher. I am a cashier at wal-mart and nothing is more annoying then having someone come to your register when you are CLOSED. we do NOT have register closed signs. The light is off which means CLOSED. It doesn't mean pile your crap on a belt. It's your lazyness to not want to go to a different register. IT'S NOT THAT HARD. You cannot tell parents where to shop like other people have said it is NONE of your buisness. You need to be reported and FIRED. You do not deserve to work with kids.

Where do you feel the right to ask any parent or student for their receipts? It's none of your damn business where people shop. You are supposed to teach not dictate to people where they can or cannot shop, furthermore you can't base a students grade on where they purchase their school supplies. You have some serious personal issues! At walmart, when the light is turned off, the register is closed! Get over yourself!

You know once the students are at home at your parents you cannot dictate where they shop. You also cannot give them failing grades for where their parents shop personally. Also how are you going to know where they went shopping. For a someone who is going to be teaching the fifth grade you act childish yourself. I saw your other review where you admitted to throwing a t shirt in a cashier's face, then you say she was lying. The customer is not always right and once you act like a bully (as you did) you were in the wrong. The cashier is not a ten year old like your students and you have no right treating her like she is ten.

Walmart cashier lied.

I recently decided to give my local Walmart another try.. I was sick and tired of the lines being long, because there was only four

registers opened". Today was no different.. There was only eight registers open out of the 20 they have'. I waited in one of the express

lines for over ten minutes.. When I finally got to the counter, I handed the cashier all my clothes|. I had one shirt and one pair of

pants;. I didn't want to sit them on her counter, because it looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in months|. The cashier asked if I

can give her one at a time. I started to get a little agitated at this point. I explained to the cashier that I didn't want them on

her disgusting counter. She says sorry, then gives me some lame excuse that she didn't have time to clean the counter. I said I didn't

care if she was busy and that the counter should be cleaned after every customer. She again says she is sorry and at that point I have

had enough. I shoved my shirt into her face telling her never to speak to me like that again. She then starts yelling at me saying I

had thrown the shirt at her. I told her that I had never thrown the shirt at her and I was going to report her. To top it all off, the

register wouldn't take my card right away. Finally, it did. I believe she had something to do with this. To add insult to injury, the

cashier tells me to have a good day. I then storm off, vowing never to return.

You mean she apologized for not having time to clean the counter and told you to have a good day? Oh my, I don't know how you got through that! Ugh, get over yourself. First of all, if you are too stuck up to put your merchandise on the counter then do not be offended when the cashier asks you to hand the items to her one by one. Next, the cashier has no effect over whether or not your card goes through. Your paranoid delusion is sickening. Lastly, you shoved a shirt in her face and expected her to not be upset? You can't treat other human beings like ### just because they are serving you. You are doing Walmart a favor by not shopping with them anymore. They no longer have to deal with you.

You shoved the shirt in her face and she's not supposed to be offended by this? Had I been that cashier, I would have called security.
