I am positive for Covid 19. Today, March 17, 2021; my doctor gave me a prescription. I tried calling the Portland, CT Walgreens at 1:15 to ask if there is a procedure available for me to do curbside pickup to get my meds. I was on hold for 15 minutes and then at 1:30, I heard someone answer and they hung up on me. I understand that everyone is entitled to lunch, but given that almost everyone on hold is sick and trying to get medicine, this is extremely rude.
I called back at 3:00pm and was on hold for another 15 minutes and finally, a woman answered the phone, didn't say hello, just said "Walgreens, Please hold" and put me back on hold. I was on hold for 15-20 more minutes before I was disconnected again!
I am very seriously sick and trying to get the medication I need to get well.
Instead of receiving the support that one would expect, I received passive aggressive behavior from your staff leaving me on "Hold Hell" and when I refused to hang up, they hung up on me again. Is this the type of service that Walgreens is committed to?
Desired outcome: I want an apology from the woman at Portland, CT Walgreens pharmacy who did this to me.

I have a medical condition that causes me to be in chronic pain. I have taken my pain medication responsibly for many years.
For the past several months, The pharmacist at the Walgreens I use at 71st and Lewis in Tulsa Oklahoma has held my prescription hostage until the day after it's due to be filled.
When I have pain flares, My doctor will order my medication a few days early. But the pharmacist will not fill it. I have had a difficult month and needed to use a few more of my pain medication than usual. Today I went to lick up my prescription only to be told to come back on 8:30 am. I'd like to wish my pain on the pharmacist who is withholding my medication, but perhaps that's a bit too harsh. As harsh as withholding pain medication that has been ordered by a physician for a patient. I am furious and will be changing all of my prescriptions from Walgreens to CVS if this doesn't change immediately . I feel as if I have been manipulated and shamed by this pharmacist.

on 3/12/2021 I entered the Manchester CT location at 295 Main St for my covid shot. I had contacted the Service number to schedule the appointment I arrived as scheduled to find that there was no scheduled appt. the associates were rude asking was I sure did I have the right day and location as I explained I wrote the information as provided I am capable of understanding what was told to me. Once home I contacted the number back and was advised that the appointment was created in error. And was given another appt. That is fine but to treated by your associates in the Pharmacy was uncalled for. Electronic Item
I purchased an electronic item from Walgreens, Thomasville, Ga., Smith Ave. store . The item did not work. Returned item to store. When ringing up the returned item this appeared "Item not returnable " . I was told I could not get my money refunded. They kept the item and I left the store.

Trouble with my prescription and customer service
On 3/4/21, I received confirmation my mail order prescriptions had been received and my credit card would be received once it was mailed. The next day I received the following email (Note there was no order number on either of these emails):

There's an issue with your prescription, insurance or payment information that needs your attention in the next 3 business days so that we can continue to process and ship your order.

I tried calling the above number and they told 3/5 and told me to contact my local store. I contacted them and they said I had cancelled my order. I said no, and they told me to call above number again. I called, was transferred 4 times, total time on phone of 45 minutes. Finally, after on hold for 37 minutes my call just dropped off. I must mention, I tried "Please check this secure message" on above email but my account shows no messages. I sent an email through Walgreens website, but today I checked and I does not show I sent any messages at all. The email sent is automated and you can not reply back to them. I am sure they just don't want to be bothered having to give any answers. They give ME 3 business days to respond to their email but do not give you any opportunity to do so.
Desired outcome: I wanted prescription filled an mail out in 24 hours, but I am no longer willing to pay the $19.95 cost, since it is not possible.

I received an email today (attached) stating that walgreens_has_a_surprise_for_emfortner (me). It doesn't indicate who it's from and it's addressed to lbender. [protected]@gmail.com. I have no idea who this person is or how I got this email.
I see in the small print at the bottom of the email it states "Walgreens is a trademark who is not affiliated with this promotion". I'm not sure how that works, but I was certainly under the impression the email was from Walgreens.
Actually, the reason I'm writing is that this email is a total scam and if I were Walgreens, I would unaffiliate myself from it as soon as possible.
Walgreens is a good company and this scam can put a BLACK spot on its name easily. How can someone put out an email with a company's name on it and then state in small letters, at the end of the message that this company is actually not affiliated.
I'm serious. I usually don't open this sort of email, but because I thought it was from Walgreens, I did so. The contents and where it led ticked me off.
I'm no legal eagle, but if I were Walgreens, I'd have a chat with my lawyers to see what can be done to end this.
Just my two cents worth.
