I was told by the pharmacist that I had to call before I come in to pick up my rx. Even though my doctor already called in the prescription. I called as they instructed me to, two days in a row and I was put on hold 5 times each day for 45 minutes. The recording said there are three customers ahead of you then two and then when I reached the front of the line I was disconnected every single time! I signed into my walgreens account and there was a note stating that there was an insurance issue with one of my medications? This particular medication is allowed to be picked up 2 days early as I have done so previously at walgreens. I feel as though I was being discriminated against by the pharmacist because of my insurance and disability status. I will not be filling my prescriptions at walgreens in the future. I have a lifeline phone and being on hold 10 times used up most of my minutes. I am very disappointed and saddened!
