I just noticed this charge from Easy Saver and called their number on my credit card statement. I complained and asked how many times did the billing appear. MAKE SURE YOU ASK THAT QUESTION before you ASK FOR A REFUND. I had no problem getting the credit back to my card. I was on the call for about 3 minutes and "WON" BACK 4 x $14.95. They said it would take one or two billing cycles for the credit to appear. WHAT BOTHERS ME is the idea that loads of people DON'T KNOW they are paying for this and unless they happen to catch it like I did on their CC bill, this company is raking in the money! What a scam. I wonder what the ratio is of people who pull the plug and those who pay under the rug?

This is ridiculous! Don't you think that Proflowers.com would come to their senses and take into consideration how many clients they have lost due to this FRAUDULENT company. I will NEVER use this company again. I just found out tonight and I will not stop posting until they have undone this fraudulent charging. WOW! I have been running and operating a company and I would never think of doing this to any of my clients. Small print my A**! Proflowers.com reevaluate your company priorities!

Just went throught the same thing. You order flowers on mothers day. You sign up for a 30 day free trial... they never notify you of ANYTHING, they just sit back and collect 15 dollars a month from you. The people at PRO FLOWERS were NOT very helpful about this. They said its a 3rd party I would have to cancel myself. I let them know that in MY BUSINESS if I work with another company I will take care of my customers needs. When I called EASY SAVER they are very aware that fine print is there business. I let them know that I was basically charged 45 dollars for a service that I never used. And was UNAWARE that I had. They canceled me and said they will reimburse me in 7-10 business days.

The woman continued to rattle off offers they had and I let her know that I did not appreciate and UPSELL when I am trying to cancel my service. Be aware of your transactions and inquire about ANYTHING out of the ordinary.

As much of you agree I too will not be using proflowers in the future. I see most of these posts are old. But BEWARE they are STILL DOING THIS!

I just noticed this charge today and will be dealing with it tomorrow. If it's a one time only charge, then I'll be ordering from proflowers again (as long as I get a refund). If this is recurring, I won't be ordering from them again.

Unauthorized Charges

EASY SAVER [protected] charged my credit card $14.95 6 times for a "service" they claimed I signed up for through an email address with ProFlowers.com. When I called to complain/inquire about the charges that were unauthorized, they refunded the charges. By the way, the employee, Ms. Hope, is very nice and friendly.

I'm feeling it is a SCAM and I won't use Proflowers.com anymore.

I ORDERED FLOWERS FOR A DEAR FRIEND IN A HEALTH CRISIS FROM PROFLOWERS AND A DAY LATER HAD THE 1.95 EASY SAVER AND THE 1.00 EMI ENCORE MARKETING CHARGES. I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR SQUAT. I ACTUALLY JUST CALLED THEM TO CANCEL AND REFUND AND GOT A CONFIRMATION NUMBER SO I WILL WAIT AND SEE HOW FAR IT GOES. I WILL NO LONGER USE PROFLOWERS AS WELL. THIS KIND OF MESS IS EVERYWHERE NOW, HAD SIMILAR YET WORSE SITUATION WITH THE CYLAPRIL "TRIAL OFFER" SO BEWARE OF THAT AS WELL. LUCKILY I HAVE A GOOD BANK...

Well, low and behold, I finally paid attention to my c/c charges when I see I've been billed 3 times by Easy Saver since buying Mother's Day flowers. Unbeknownst to me, I apparently agreed to something by accepting a future "$15.00 discount". I just called them and insisted they refund $44.85 in bogus charges and cancel this "membership" immediately. I will be back w/an update. Next stop...FTC, BBB and my state Attorney General.

I also have been getting ripped off for the past 6 months and never noticed which is my own stupidity for not paying attention to my bank statements but its horrible what this company is doing to people, I was charged overdraft fees also from them plus about 5 other companies taking money out of my account every month. I will never use pro flowers again and will probably never buy anything off the internet in my life.

SCAM NEVER BUY FROM PRO-FLOWERS...

I got charged too for $1.95 & $14.95. I told them that I never siged up for this, they said they are very sorry, but she kept offering other plans (like instead of $14.95 per month, she is authorized to give me the same benefits for one payment of $14.95). Please keep saying no to all their offers. Luckily, finally she said they will pay back both the amounts and cancel me from the membership. Hope they never charge me in the future!

Looks like they have been doing this for a long time and I am sure lot of people are paying without even knowing it.

STAY AWAY FROM PRO-FLOWERS

Like everyone else on this message board, i too had these mysterious charges on my credit card. luckily it only went back 2 months though literally today they billed me again--the lady i spoke with, Patsy, was overly sweet and accomodating and didnt put up a fight. They count on people, just like me, glossing over the charge on their card and not saying something. While I am grateful i will be getting my money back, i think its [censored] that they are allowed to conduct business in this fashion. grrrrr.

I just realized that I have been charged as well from easy saver and checked past statement and have been charged last month as well. I'm calling ASAP as well as my card company. Had decided not to purchase from Proflowers because flowers were not worth the price and now definitely will not order and tell others not to order as well.

OMG! I just noticed this has been going on since NOV 2007! (ok more fool me for not noticing...I had another monthly deduction for the same amount and every month assumed it was that!) I have called and been told a refund of almost $300 is on is way to me. In my mint they knew it was wrong...because no fight was put up, no argument...nothing...just sorry..and a refund...this ticks me off!

They did the same thing to me. I'm on the phone right now with Capital One right now disputing these charges. Capital One has me on hold while they call the company.

They probably did slip something in small print somewhere. Why would anyone think that buying flowers for Valentines Day would turn in a $14.95 a month charge? You're just buying flowers for a holiday.

I don't know what deal Capital One worked out but I'm getting my money back.

I know I would never ever use, or recommend, ProFlowers. I can't see the sense in what their doing but I guess a lot of people just never catch them.

Unbelievable. I bought flowers for my mom LAST valentine's day (2008) and apparently I've been getting charged $14.95 since May 2008.

Now, I'm in college and my account is tied to my parents' account, so I don't really have access to it, but I come to find out now that I've been charged $14.95 for 13 months now, totally nearly $200.

I'm going to call this "EZSVR" hotline tomorrow and demand my money back, and then I'm going to call proflowers and lay into them. Not only will I NEVER do business with proflowers again, but they should be ashamed of themselves.

What a poor excuse for a business. Whether they knowingly subject their customers to this scam or not is regardless -- it appears they've received hundreds (if not thousands) of complaints about this, and the fact that it (and they, as a business) still exist is completely unbelievable.

Again, I'd better get my money back when I call tomorrow, or there will be in hell. In addition, I will never do business with this company again, and I will continue to speak out against this scam on other forums, including filing a report with the better business bureau.

I just figured out that Pro Flowers/Easy saver has been stealing $14.95 from me for the past several months...Guess they will be getting a phone call for a refund and so will the Attorney Generals office in a formal complaint, This is nothing but theft.

Your BBB complaint may start out something like this:

Mr./Mrs. X's complaint refers to EasySaver Rewards, a travel and entertainment membership program presented, through arrangements with ProFlowers, as an offer to their consumers after they have made an online purchase from the ProFlowers website. After the consumer makes a purchase from the ProFlowers website, including providing all of their billing information, they are provided to accept a membership offer to EasySaver Rewards.

Today I noticed charges on my Credit card with Easy Saver [protected] MD. I typed it into my search engine & low and behold a bunch of complaint websites from people who were fraudulently signed up to Encore Marketing when they purchased from PRO FLOWERS.COM.

I put a charge stop with my credit card, for future possible charges, & called encore marketing with my complaint. they claim they are reimbursing my credit card for ALL purchases... we'll see...

I'm done with pro flowers.com

I'll be calling them next.
does anyone know if there is a class action lawsuit in the works?

Very similar experience as above. Can't believe ProFlowers still posts this vendor's service on their site. Says alot about what poor business practices ProFlowers has. Will not do business with them again.

I just had the same thing happen to me today. I ordered flowers for mother's day and noticed that charge of 1.95 immediately, but didn't think too much of it. I checked my bank account this morning and saw the charge of 14.95 to my bank account, and searched endlessly through proflowers website and my past e-mails for the easy save website but did not find anything until I googled it and saw all these reports of scamming just like what happened to me. I called the phone number I saw a few people post and explained to the lady, Claudia, what had happened. She was very polite (but you could definitely tell she had many of these phone calls before) and no questions asked unsubscribed me from easy save (even though I NEVER did subscribe with them) and refunded the money back into my account. No hassle no questions.

Well Count me in, I just check a bank statement from one of my accounts i rarely use. Unfortunately, i used it to order some flowers for the wife a few months back. I had 8 charges from Easy Saver. When i called Easy Saver there was no hassle for my refund and my account cancelation. I don't blame Easy Saver for this. I put all the blame on ProFlowers.com. Why? Because Proflowers.com gives your information to Easy Saver.. When i called Proflowers.com to complain about this decieving sales tactic, the supervisor Patty, Talked to me like i knew i was going to be charge $14.95 a month if i click on the 15% off next purchase coupon. I was really pleased with Proflowers.com service and was recommending it to friends. No MORE. I just sent an email to all my contacts telling them my story and to stay away. I might just send the same email to some news channels, maybe they can pick up the story and expose this.

To the next person who reads this: Call and get your refund back from Easy Saver.
Easy Saver [protected]

Next: call Proflowers.com and complain to them. These are the people you should lay blame on.
ProFlowers.com: [protected]

Next: send and mail to your contact list and tell your story to your friends and family so they can be warned.

Next: Go to the Better Business Bureau .com website and file a complaint.

Thanks Caroline!
I am sure you are not the owner of proflowers.com. I am sure you did not think you would be a scraping along with all of the other bottom feeders when you working your way through your masters, did you?

I gladly filed a complaint against you and your associates through the better business bureau. I guess you figured if people were stupid enough to sign up and not read the small print then you were entitled to their money. You assumed you had the right to share their credit card information. I hope one day you get scammed and I hope they get you good. You will know how it feels one day. I was sending flowers to my poor mother with Parkinsons and THIS is what happens. Here's an idea...Maybe you can trick my mom into this. She does not check her credit card statements like she should. You would love someone like her. She is not internet savvy and she is old...hey the less advantaged the better, huh?

Just think if a company like yours actually used your success and marketing for helping people instead of tricking them? The world would be a better place. THINK ABOUT THIS! You are a snake and a sorry individual.

This "Easy Saver"? program is a SCAM. I mistakenly allowed myself to get registered when ordering Valentine flowers for my 4 Granddaughters this past February. As soon as I realized that I had committed to a monthly I immrediately followed the email cancellation directions and got a confirmation of the cancellation. My carelessness then allowed my account to be billed the $1`4.95 for the months of March and April - I finally caught the BOGUS charge in May and made the phone call to finallyget it cancelled. After 5 years of using Pro-Flowers for almost all of my flower needs ---- I've kissed them goodby for EVER.

I found charges on my credit card also. Interesting thing is that when you call the number, they ask for your "Membership Number that you received via e-mail at time of registration" LOL They KNOW they never sent me an e-mail or I would have protested the registration and charges then.

ProFlowers Partner Program

As an employee of ProFlowers, I thought I would take the opportunity to try to clarify our EasySaver Rewards program and the enrollment process.

After making a purchase on our site, we offer the customer the opportunity to enroll in the EasySaver Rewards program. EasySaver is a membership program where members receive valuable benefits such as discounts on travel and shopping, personal concierge services, discounted spa services and much more. As an incentive to try the program for 30 days, we offer customers a $15 gift code to be used on a future purchase on our website.

After clicking on the offer, the customer lands on the EasySaver registration page. The page clearly details the program benefits as well as the sign-up process and related program fees. To enroll, the customer provides their email address and zip code as confirmation that they have read and accept the offer terms stated on the page.

We always encourage our customers to provide feedback on the program and enrollment process. We do not wish for any customer to be enrolled in the program if they do not so desire, and it is for that reason that we have a no-hassle cancellation policy. Customers can contact our customer service agents at any time for assistance with cancelling from the program. Also, please feel free to contact me directly and I will be more than happy to work with you and our partner to make sure we get you a resolution.

Our customers are our #1 priority and we take their concerns very seriously. We hope that any customers reading this posting will understand that we are not in any way acting in the adverse manner in which these posts seem to reflect.

Please feel free to contact me directly with any questions, concerns or feedback.

Thank you

Thank God I found this board that people share the same frustration. I just found out this rip off on the credit card stats. First time i saw 1.95 charge that I couldn't remember what it was and let go since small $. This time I searched and so surprised to discover this shameless scam is happening to everyone. I called ProFlower and told them that if they don't want to lose more of their own customer, they better do something to stop this. Sine EasySaver and BBB are closed for holiday, I will be contacting EasySaver for a refund and a big Apology, and then I am going to call BBB to fill an compliant. and I will warn everyone when they use Proflower. WHY CAN'T PEOPLE JUST DO AN HONEST AND SMART BUSINESS INSTEAD OF RIP PEOPLE OFF!

Call ProFlowers (1-800-ProFlowers) to let them know. Speaking out is a good way to stop this type of behavior. When I called, they submitted a form with my thoughts. The more forms that get to management, the more they will realize what their actions are doing.

I too have been scammed the last three months by Easy Saver [protected]) for 14.95 per month after ordering Valentine's Day flowers from ProFlowers.com. The fact that "Easy Saver" doesn't produce any sort of receipt for automatic monthly withdrawls from your bank account proves that the transaction is fraudulant, in an attempt to hide it month after month. I only wonder how many people are being affected by these scammers and don't even know it.

I got scammed by easy saver as well after ordering from ProFlowers and it has actually been going on for 15 months. I called [protected] and the first person said they could only refund 2 months. I then asked to speak to a manager who said he could only refund 8 months. I said I was going to report them and ProFlowers to the Better Business Bureau and suddenly they were able to refund all 15 months. I will never order from ProFlowers again!

I sent flowers to my mother-in-law for Mother's Day and noticed $1.95 charge on my card from "Easy Saver."
