I just noticed this charge from Easy Saver and called their number on my credit card statement. I complained and asked how many times did the billing appear. MAKE SURE YOU ASK THAT QUESTION before you ASK FOR A REFUND. I had no problem getting the credit back to my card. I was on the call for about 3 minutes and "WON" BACK 4 x $14.95. They said it would take one or two billing cycles for the credit to appear. WHAT BOTHERS ME is the idea that loads of people DON'T KNOW they are paying for this and unless they happen to catch it like I did on their CC bill, this company is raking in the money! What a scam. I wonder what the ratio is of people who pull the plug and those who pay under the rug?

What to Say, i can also say that i too have been duped by these guys, the way they presented is also so subtle that when you sign up you do not even have the slightest hint that you will be ripped off 14.95$ every month. Wonder how many millions they might have made. I felt good when the delivery was made but not happy the way it was delivered it was suppose to be handed to the person it is addressed instead it was left at my door step by the UPS people and they didnt even to ring the bell to let us know that it is there, as most of the people have expressed i too think it is better to get rid of this subscription.
Thanks all for the inputs sure will make a point to let other friends know of this

cheers

Pro-Flowers was helpful. They called Easy Savers on my behalf and made sure 100% was refunded. It was deposited in my account within 3 days. Much easier than going through my bank. My bank wanted a bunch of documentation and forms to be filled out.

I'm with all of you...I too was negligent in checking my statement. This has been going on for over 8 months at 14.95 a month. My bank is absolutely no help...Idiots (U.S. Bank) and as other posters have said, customer service at Easy Savers wasn't that bad, they assured me they would refund all eight charges and acted like they get this all the time, they know they've been caught and it won't happen again...at least to me! It reminds me of my 12 year old son...Caught in a lie, admitting guilt and the promise of not repeating. We'll see. What horrible business practices!

I contacted ProFlowers via Email and got this response:
"Dear David, Thank you for contacting us. We really appreciate your feedback in the EasySaver Rewards program and I am so sorry for your poor experience. Rest assured, we take your comments seriously, and we are on your side. Let me take a moment to just summarize the program enrollment. After you make a purchase on our site, we offer a $15 coupon. If you click on that coupon you will land on a registration page to join our EasySaver program. In order to enroll and receive the coupon, you must enter your email address and zip code which is the acceptance of the terms and conditions of the program. Within the terms stated to the left of the "accept" button, is the enrollment process and states the charge of the program. Our goal is not to have you in the program if you did not wish to enroll and we apologize if this was confusing. If you have not already done so and would like to cancel this membership, feel free to call EasySaver Rewards directly at [protected] and simple instructions will be provided to you to cancel. We totally understand your frustration and will attempt to clarify the enrollment process for future customers. To follow up, I am going to forward your valuable comments to our partner group that oversees the program. Our customer experience is of the utmost importance and we will do anything to improve your future shopping experiences. Once again, we apologize for your poor experience and we are here to help in any other way necessary. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are available for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."

Hi everyone. I just found this on my card as well. $14.95 on 04/09/09, $14.95 on 03/12/09, and $1.95 on 02/11/09. I called and asked the girl I talked to what Easy Saver was and she confirmed it was a program lined to Proflowers.com and that I signed up for it when I accepted a $15 coupon. The problem is, I declined the coupon.

She first said she would cancel the membership and apologized, acting like we were done. I then said she needed to refund the money. She then refunded the April charge and she tried to end the call.

I then said she needed to take care of the other two and she did.

So Kelly, and some of you others out there, call and be toug. They should refund you.

- T.

Thankfully, Capital One noticed and redflagged this transaction on my account and froze it. They called me and sure enough, $14.95 was pending and I had already been charged $1.95 earlier in the month (that I didn't notice). I was advised that EZ Server is a Netherlands Company. I never even used ProFlowers--- I think my husband might have looked into ordering for me... but one thing is for sure, I won't be using them. Thanks to them I had to cancel my cards and have them resent. I appreciate Capital One's dilligent attention to my account.

OMG!

I noticed today thay easysaver charged 14.95 for last 12 months from my credit card!
I didn't check the statement of last year, so I am not sure when they started to charge it.

It's my fault not to check the statement carefully, but it's really a scam.

What should I do?
Will they refund all the money back?
It's at least $300.

I am so mad!

what a frickin pain - so I guess we all have to be very very careful about ordering online, lest we get signed up for any more 'toeless sheer knee high of the month club" memberships. Just remember to check your SPAM or JUNK EMAIL where these messages welcoming you to the MINT JELLY SAUSAGE club because they will often hide - and where we often DON'T LOOK because it is what it is... The company's bad for doing this, but at least the customer service seems nice. I expect they get these calls all the time, but the person who helped me cancel and refund the charges was very nice and helpful. The call lasted no more than 4 minutes. Just make sure you tell them that they are unauthorized charges and that none of these "offers" seem familiar. I was refunded 14.95 + 1.95.

Same thing here.

What's interesting is that I never even signed up for it.
I spoke with Linda at the 800 number and she couldn't find me in the system.
They charged my debit card the $14.95 the same day I purchased from ProFlowers.com using a DIFFERENT credit card. So they basically reached back in their system and found some ramdom card number on file to charge.
But because they "couldn't find" me in the system, they won't refund me! How convenient!

I just saw two different charges from these easy saver programs via pro flowers. While por flowers was quick to respond and refund my money this is rediculous! I will never use proflowers because of this. And if I were to... it would ONLY be with a prepaid visa gift card. In no way will I ever give them my information again!

Just got hit with the single $1.95 charge. I called and they will refund. I Clicked on the " NO Thanks" for the discount club when I bought the flowers. Guess they figured no one would complain till it got to the monthly $14.95. In this economy I am complaining about the $1.95 as well. A shame that a company like proflowers is scamming their customers.

I agree 100% with everything said. My husband surprised me with flowers from Proflowers.com for Valentine's Day. It was the first time he ever ordered anything on line and I was very surprised. I didn't think much of the $1.95 charge from Easy Saver that occurred at the same time as the Proflowers.com charge, thinking it was possibly a one-time service charge. But in checking my bank records today, I saw a $14.95 PENDING charge from the same company and quickly realized my husband must have inadvertently signed up for something else while ordering thru Proflowers. I checked with him and he said he didn't sign up for anything else other then buying the flowers. I called the [protected] number that showed up with the pending charge. It was a recorded message, of course, saying the business office was closed, but if I wanted to cancel to visit cancel.myeasysaver.com to do so. I tried the website and found there was no such website. I called again, and somehow got a different recording that said to visit cancels.myeasysaver.com (cancel with an "s"). I tried that and low and behold actually got the Easy Saver cancellation website AKA http://crm.encoremarketing.com/cancels. Went thru the steps and found the actual membership number and then got a cancellation confirmation number. Still not satisfied this was legit, I called another number I found on-line researching this "scam", [protected] and reached a real person at "Membership Services". I asked if this was Membership Services for Easy Saver and the gentleman said YES! I said I wanted to confirm the cancellation. He had a hard time finding the file by name, address, phone number, but found it with the membership number I had found on the "cancel website". He confirmed that the membership was cancelled and said since the $14.95 charge was just pending, that my cancellation today should override the charge. If not, I should call back to request the refund. Although my flowers from Proflowers were probably the best roses I ever received, I WILL TELL EVERYONE THAT THEY SHOULD NOT USE THIS ON-LINE SERVICE EVER AGAIN. I work in law enforcement that actually investigations computer crimes and ID theft and plan to report this ON-LINE SCAM! It is really sad that something so innocent can cause so much grief.

Ditto Ditto Ditto to everything posted here~on the plus side, I spoke with an Encore Marketing rep who quickly canceled my "subscription" and refunded my $15 quite promptly. Thank you to whoever uncovered this and posted it b/c a quick google search of the phone number on the credit card charge lead me here to a very quick resolution. Proflowers is as equally GUILTY if not more for this fraudulent relationship. I guarantee you that Proflowers.com is getting paid for every sucker that "signs" up for this "service" so naturally they are not inclined to discontinue this fraud. For every 1 person that has posted here, there are probably hundreds or more out there that have no idea that they have been dup'd and that these jokers are skimming their hard earned cash. I WILL NEVER USE PROFLOWERS AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO DO THE SAME!

Thieves! I also received flowers on Valentine's Day from ProFlowers.com and ended up with the same charges ($1.95 initially and $14.95 thereafer) to our bank account. I called ProFlowers this morning and spoke with Rosie Martin. She immediately started saying she was so sorry for the inconvenience. She gave me the [protected] phone number but stated EasySaver holds "banker hours" and I couldn't contact them until Monday. When I told her I would be calling their company AND EasySaver in the morning she told me I didn't have to, that they would handle it for me. I WILL be calling again in the morning as well as calling my bank! On the BBB website, Stephen Klein is listed as the President of this company, and Carole Hunt as the Director with a phone number of [protected]. I asked Rosie Martin with ProFlowers if this is a continuous problem and she said "unfortunately yes", I then told her that "fine print" telling you what you are actually signing up for when clicking on a $15 coupon is hidden and she actually agreed! WE WILL NEVER USE PROFLOWERS.COM AGAIN!

It happened to me too. I just called them and [censor]ed telling them this is a total scam. She said she would reverse the 14.95 charge and cancel my account. I order online all the time, so I know to look for these little upsell services when going through checkout. I don't know how I got sucked in to this one because I don't remember seeing anything about it at all. Very frustrating. I will NEVER use Proflowers.com again due to their association with this company.

PROFLOWERS IS PART OF THIS SCAM!
i totally got ripped off by them, apparently, as we all did.
the story is the same:
i failed to notice the $1.95 charge after ordering flowers from them - which they must have taken as a green light to go to town.
for the past four months they've been charging $14.95 for this service i never signed up for.
i am literally on the phone with PROFLOWERS as this is being typed, and they are hedging.
at first, they told me EASY SAVER was another company and is charging me monthly.
at which point, i objected to them sharing my credit card information with another company.

FOX, CNN, or MSNBC should do a story on this blatant consumer fraud.
i will NEVER purchase anything from PROFLOWERS - and it is my sincere hope you will avoid them as well, and spend your money with a more reputable company.

p.s.
i'm on the phone with PROFLOWERS -- and have been put on hold for close to twenty minutes now, while they call EASY SAVER.
i only wish you could hear the comedy they are performing.
you would think they were using a coconut shell to contact the international space station: "well, let me see if we can get them on the phone (apparently some new communication device".
"i have a supervisor on the phone, but she says the hold is going to be at least five minutes"
(if you're on hold, you don't speak to someone first)
"not sure if you want to keep holding, but they are backed up"
(not a problem... i'll wait)
"oh, darn! i can't believe it. we got disconnected"
(of course, we did).
THIS IS A SCAM -- CARRIED OUT BY PROFLOWERS.

Something just told me to look at my checking account statement and there was a charge for $14.98 from Easy Saver. I called the 800 number provided and it was a recorded message about refinancing your home. I'm not considering or even looking at doing that at this time, so I know this is an unauthorized charge. Thanks to all of the previous complaintants it was very easy to convince my credit union that this was an unauthorized charge and get it removed. I really appreciate the Complaint Board!

Well, I was upset to see the $1.95 charge on my debit card and was racking my brains out wondering what it was I bought for $1.95 and had to use a card for it.

I decided to google the EASY SAVER [protected]/11EASY SAVE and this site came up first. I was surprised because I was pleased enough with the proflowers delivery. It reached my parents on time as scheduled and they said the package was beautiful.

I do remember signing my email address for the $15 discount on my next purchase and should have known better to read the fine print. I just hope that's the end of that. I haven't been charged the $14.95 yet and hope I won't get charged. I called them and Linda canceled my account and said she will refund me the $1.95 within 7-10 business days.

I'm disappointed that proflowers has shared my debit card information... I guess that's the first and last time I'd shop for flowers from them online again.

I had the same thing just happen to me. Same charges $14.95 twice and one $1.95 charge. I first called the 1800 number on my credit card bill only to get a recording that sounded like some sort of Talk Line that I never signed up for. Then I called my credit card company about it and they said they would look into it. In the meantime, I typed Easy Saver and the 1800 number onto the computer and it took me to ProFlowers. I called them and spoke to them about how there is so much bad publicity for them on the web because of this Easy Saver but they swear it is legitimate; however, any phone number they gave me was not working and when they tried to connect me directly they were not able to get Easy Saver either. I was told that Easy Saver would then contact me (I won't hold my breath), and as I continued to suggest to the woman at ProFlowers to end this whole Easy Saver Promotion because it is costing them a lot of buisness, she hung up on me and I was being very calm and polite. Anyway, I am done with ProFlowers too.

The whole thing is bull, I will never use ProFlowers again!

Same type of deal, the charge appeared on my online bank account for $14.95. And, like other folks that have posted, I was hit with an overdraft fee from my bank. I called the 800 number this afternoon. The representative indicated that by using the coupon I was automatically registered for their Easy Saver service. What a SCAM! The service was cancelled and I'm told that I should see a refund in 7-10 business days.
The rep also gave me a cancellation number. I'm going to try to get the bank overdraft fee reversed with my bank tomorrow.

I also encountered the same problem and been charged for 4 month of $14.95. When I first call them, they insist to refund me for just to month. Later I read other people's comments and called it back. I told her that other people is getting all the credits back. Then she agreed to refund me all the money back without any questions. I too have had to deal with Easy Saver. They overdrafted my account and refused to pay for the overdraft fees. They claim that I also signed up with my email address after making a purchase through Pro Flowers. What makes it worse is that I also called Pro Flowers and told them and they were non challant about the whole thing. It was actually quite sickening. The rep at Easy Saver told me that they are aware of their reputation but it's the nature of the business. I alwasy thought good business was one of honesty and loyalty to customers. They're a scam and they're aware of it but simply dont care!
