CVS review: Pharmacy

On March 13th, 2021, around 4:45 PM I went to the CVS location at 24 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains, NY to pick up my prescriptions. I saw that they were extremely high in price in which I told the pharmacy tech who directed me to his colleague. When I went to her for help, her demeanor was very off-putting and she wasn't pleasant to deal with. She made an assumption that the insurance that was on file for me was correct and she didn't even really let me explain my situation. She was extremely dismissive. I went back to the technician who helped me prior and showed him my insurance card only to find out that this particular CVS won't take my Medicaid! I was recently switched over from ShopRite to this current location and I am extremely displeased at not only the service; the handling of my insurance information and that particular young lady who I dealt with prior who left around 5 o'clock today. In addition, I cannot afford the hefty price that CVS imposes on medications and will no longer be utilizing their services. From general shopping to pharmaceutical necessities. From a marketing standpoint, this makes me feel that I was never a valued customer and also makes me feel like that I cannot receive the medications that I need.
