Jan 2024 (23, 24, 25) pharmacy, 6265 2nd St, Long Beach, CA 90803
I have RA, severe hearing/speech impaired. I can't use the phone as I lip read. I have been using this pharmacy over year. 3 times this week pharmacy messed up with my meds. I told tech (Asian woman) in 30's of error. She told me to use the app. Arrogant & dismissive. I did try to set up app (she was reluctant to assist). App was not working.
23rd - asked male pharmacist if there was anything I needed to pick up. He said no. Went home got text msge, less than 20 mins later to pick up meds.
24th - told there was 0 but then I showed her the 2 text mesges She was dismissive. I reiterated I could not phone as I had already told her. Her response, "oh yeah".
At home med had child free cap on it for which I have never at any time requested. I had to get a neighbor to open it as my RA doesn't have grip qualities. My privacy was violated. Received text saying med waiting.
25th Returned in person. same tech. rude, dismissive
Computer showed a med available. Same tech told me to wait until med filled. I told her I was not going to wait 20 mins for the refill when I was informed by text med was ready. I left with only 1 month.
Given the numbers of mistakes by CVS, rude attitude oftech, why should I continue with CVS?
Desired outcome: An apology would be useless. I want my meds to be dispensed properly. this tech does not represent the other staff. How do I know I am being given the correct medication? What is CVS response to assisting people with disabilities
