CVS review: New Policy regarding coupons

Today 11/8/2023 at approximately 5:30 PM I visited the CVS at 4478 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte, Fla. I was going to buy Clairol Hair dye 2 boxes at 8.99each. I had a $6.00 manufacturer coupon a CVS 40% coupon one item, as well as a 15% entire order. Still cost me $10.23 for my purchase. When I questioned the cashier she explained that over the weekend a new policy for customers went into effect, and that yes indeed it was not to benefit the customer. Well I should have left it cause I paid more than the correct price of one box, but she explained so many customers had complained I felt bad. What the heck... Every week I visit CVS and use coupons and it has paid off but now with the new policy not so much and I do not think I will be visiting anymore. New scams not very happy here.
