I purchased a digital thermometer from CVS on 1/2/23 around 5:30 pm and came home to take my husbands temperature. When I opened the package and tried to use the thermometer it indicated the battery was low.

Yes, I could have taken it back but it was the only one on the shelf and I don't feel like I should have to try to find a new battery for it since I just purchased it.

We are elderly, I worked all day to find my husband not feeling well and it was pouring down rain. Not feeling like going out to find another thermometer or battery.

Desired outcome: I would like a new battery for the thermometer.

The email says you need more information. I followed the link, which is no help. Not sure what more I can say.
