CVS review: Closing of a pharmacy ( 1 comment)

I would like to go on record to express my disappointment and anger of the closing of your pharmacy at 82 Pu'uhonu Place, Hilo, Hi 96720. I have been a customer for many years and found that it is the most convenient and accessible store in our area. A few years ago another pharmacy was closed in our area and we only had this one shop to get our prescriptions filled. Now we will not have any and that means driving to town which is a few miles away. Most of the people living in this area are elderly, as I am, and need this store. I understand also that you plan to close a store in Pahoa, HI which services a large area. This store is many miles from town and people were so glad to have this place to fill their needs. I don't understand these closings and you have your reasons for doing so, but maybe you should take another look at the reasons for closing. Is it a lack of workers or money? I would think that customer service should be a big factor in being in our communities. I ask that you reconsider the closing of the pharmacy. I would appreciate a response to my message. Thank you.
