CVS Pharmacy

On Friday, October 1, 2021, the doctor phoned in a prescription for Vern Squire, and 84 year old man struggling to breathe due to chest congestion. We were told the prescription would be ready by 6 pm but that the pharmacy was closing at 6 pm due to lack of staff so get there before 6 pm so we went over at 5:45 pm only to be told that they didn't have time to fill it but it would be filled by 2 pm on Saturday, October 2, 2021. We went back at 1:50 pm only to be told that it still wasn't ready and that they were closing at 2 pm due to lack of staff but that we should try tomorrow, Sunday, October 3, 2021. If the man didn't need the medication urgently then I wouldn't care but it's now been two days with no meds and the counter clerk walked away and flip us the bird when we tried to explain that the medication was important! I guess CVS wants to be sued for the death of Mr. Squires because that is the route we are going for if they don't get this prescription filled.

Desired outcome: Fill the prescription now!

CVS Pharmacy

The person at drive thru opened at 10am pushed a button and said wait while I wipe down. 1003 I pushed button nothing honked my horn she said "you have to wait iam wiping down, Thank you. Didn't even look at me and yes I called her a[censored] but there was a homeless person standing by my car and I just wanted to get out of there. She said I was verbally abusive, but she was so disrespectful and said she would not serve me. I would NOT go to CVS but my insurance forces me too. If you open at 10 open don't disrespect my time while you take your time to wipe down.

Desired outcome: Have a person that values my time and people in general.

CVS Pharmacy

I am asking you to review what I have written. Also I'm asking for reimbursement for my ER bill ($120) for the following reason as I would NOT have needed to go to the ER if it weren't for CVS not being open on that day…Sunday September 25, 2021 at 3:45 p.m.

I was bitten by a cat and went to Urgent Care 9/25/201. The doctor ordered two RXs and called it into the CVS @ 1250 7th St. Reno, NV 89503 @11:30 a.m. I called CVS at noon and recording said my RXs would be ready at 3:59. When I arrived at 3:45, the door was locked. I repeatedly tried calling without answer. The sign on the door said it was open until 5 p.m. I Called the next day, and I was told they were closed all day 9/25/2021 due to staffing issues. Why did the recording tell me it would be ready at 3:59? Why no sign on the door?
I then went to an ER (waited 4 hrs to be seen) as the Urgent Care told me it was imperative I start the antibiotics ASAP, and by that time, they were closed. At the ER I was given two antibiotic Injections and two RXs for antibiotics, which the doctor said I HAD to start the next day as cellulitis was already setting in. I had the scripts sent to Savemart Pharmacy as I couldn't trust CVS being open or not!

CVS Compliance-Records Retention

Upon reviewing my PHI I noticed that a CVS Pharmacy had submitted to my Health Plan information regarding an alleged innoculation for Shingles (August 2019). I went to the pharmacy who does had access to electronic records (CAIR)showing data entered under my name but no indication that I received the second dose. When asked, I was told to contact CVS Pharmacy Records for any signed authorization or proof that I was the person that received the shot and how it was verified it was me.

I called various numbers provided by CVS and finally made it as far as Pharmacy Services who then contacted Pharmacy Records who would not speak with me directly but went through Pharmacy Services and hung up before all questions were answered. I was told to return to the pharmacy that referred me to them initially and then added that any signed authorization would have been destroyed, since it was two years old.

My Healthcare Plan has information that I received this immunization and likely had a bill submitted to them (?) meaning there is a high probability that if I desire this innoculation that I will be responsible for any payments.

Desired outcome: I desire to have a hard copy of authorization showing signature and confirmation on patient.

Hello, Despite the injuries and my physicians prescription for medication, the pharmacist cares little, only to refer stringently to a very borderline excuse to withdraw from filling a order from my physician for medication. The facts are clear, an order for medication can be filled two days prior to pickup time. My normal schedule for my does of...

CVS COVID19 testing

My son has scheduled several appointments on your online services to get a COVID 19 test and when he arrived that location did not have the ability to test. One of the locations stated that they have reached out to minute clinic and CVS HQ and you all refuse to fix the online website and remove the ability to schedule COVID19 testing. This means people are not able to get proper medical care in a timely manner as they run around and spread the virus around town trying to make these erroneous appointments. PLEASE get these websites taken down ASAP!

Desired outcome: Update websites about COVID19 testing availability

CVS Pharmacy fail to answer their phones

I have called the pharmacy to check on my prescription status because the medication has been listed on the phone app listed as "In process" and my doctor told me they called it in. I been waiting for days on this medication. I call and I'm on hold for over 20 minutes with no answer, I end up getting forwarded to the "prescriber line" and I'm a customer not a doctor! I can't get through at all. This has been ongoing issue. My husband just went to pick up my meditations all but two and that was on my CVS phone app as filled he was told it needed to be called in filled by the doctor as well as the first one still "in process" someone isn't doing their job there! I prefer this place because I couldn't go anywhere else because of my insurance. The place is always packed and very little cashiers there even before Covid was around. I'm so disappointed in this location I live in East Hartford and they have limited stores! Which is a total disadvantage to living here.

Desired outcome: Have pharmacy answer their calls, automated system fixed and more employees at registers, fix CVS app

CVS cvs

I have been a customer for many years, I have several scripts filled each and every month and I also shop at CVS. But I just heard that CVS is teaching CRT. I have never been racist and I am totally against anyone saying because I'm white I am a racist. I am appalled at finding out about your company teaching this. As if our country isn't bad enough with all this foolish behavior and teachings. What are you thinking? I will be telling everyone I know who shops at CVS about this and I will be transferring to a different store.

Desired outcome: Come to your senses

CVS Service

I have been getting my medication delivered since February 2021. TOday I attempted to pay my costs and order my medication. However, when I cget on line first the website ask me for my user name and password. (had the same one since February) Sudddenly system saids it wrong. I called pharamacy and asked why can't my medication be delviered and I was told they don't have a card on file (really?) I pay $5.00 a month (automatic deductions) Now suddenly I don't have a card on file? Anyway, I tried to go back on line and enter data, was told my pasword did not match what was on file. So I made a new password got into system only to find that that text option for delivery had been "grayedout" making it impossible to re-enroll. THen I tried to download CVS app, No dice, system would not move. NOw this is the LAST day for my medication delivery and I am being blocked. I think this is because I made a complaint a few months back about a problem in a particular store.

Desired outcome: aI am 71 years young, all I want is to get my appropriate medicine the wayI have been, walking is a problem now

CVS service on website

I'm just trying to get my medication delivered I go online as I usually do and it instructs me to sign up to received text when medication is ready, then I can pay for it online. Mind you, I have already set up for this service since February and have been getting medication delivered evr since( I'm almost 71) so walking around to local CVS has become a bother, and I don't drive( car incapaciated) anyway. I go online and found that the text alert option is "grayed out" I can not turn it on. So I said, I might just gt the app( mind you I have been signed in for 9 months) when I couldn get the app CVS person says call CVS Shop( which is the automation ) I waited one hour last week and about 30 minutes no one came to phone. I think Ihave enough meds to last me until Wednesday( blood pressure)

Desired outcome: connect me to someone who can review website or take my order for my medications

CVS Pharmacist and staff

We had a narcotic prescription for fiance . We did not have the hospital fill it since we thought CVS knew what they were doing. We called to see when it would be ready we were told 1130 am and we went in there at 1135 told another 15 minutes then I asked what the hold up was at 1215 it was the pharmacist was doing shots for many individuals . Then at 1230 I asked why this was not being done as I had an appt to go to to see my mom at 1230 at memory care. The pharmacist proceeded to smile while laughing and saying she is the only one that can do it and then the guy that had spoken to us prior started going off on me. I told them I did not want to argue. They then charged us wrong and I did not have time to deal with such incompetent people just paid and left . I will have all presciptions transferred to another pharmacy. I was not the only one and no one yells at someone and laughs when I was not even raising my voice.

CVS Pharmacy has abandoned good corporate practices and common sense. By Priority hiring by diversity you no longer deserve public trust.
Any company that prioritises a woke politically correct agenda is in desperate need of new management. We and others will never do business again with a CVS pharmacy.

I will no longer purchase from CVS and will move my remaining Rx from CVS to another pharmacy. I am shocked that CVS management has gone woke and when you go woke you go broke. I found the article below that shows your true colors so I will no longer spend my money with you.

CVS to Force Hourly Employees To Discuss Their Privilege
Source: Christopher Rufo
The executives of CVS, the nation's wealthiest pharmacy chain, are requiring their hourly employees to take a course and discuss the ways in which they experience "white privilege" or "unconscious bias." In addition to learning about critical race theory, the hourly employees were also tasked with placing themselves along a hierarchy of oppressor and oppressed based on their race, gender, and sexual identity.

CVS Refusing to dispense prescription

The CVS on market street in Kingston, PA refused to fill a prescription for ivermectin today. They said they don't fill it for covid. When asked they said there is no law but their own policy. I understand that it is illegal for pharmacists to write or refuse a prescriber's order as that is considered practicing medicine without a license. The exception is when the patient is allergic to a prescribed medication.
